Fresh cookies are great! I just have two gripes with this company. 1) The cookies only seem fresh if you eat them right away. Due to keeping in a humidifier/warmer, they harden up pretty fast as they dry out from cooling down outside that environment. If you can't eat it right then, it may not be worth it. 2). Someone in corporate doesn't understand what a "Pint" is. Pint is a measure of volume in the United States and not a measurement of weight. While their cheap ice cream is definitely overpriced for a pint of ice cream anyways, I really don't appreciate buying a pint of ice cream and then finding out that the container is only about 3/4 full because they are weighing it to 16 ounces (1 pound) rather than filling the container to 16 ounces by liquid volume. (Since some ice creams are more dense than others and they measure by weight, it is very conceivable to only have filled the pint size container to half of what it should be.) It should not be advertised as a pint if it is not a true pint. read more

My first time here was 2 weeks ago late at night I was craving ice cream and came across Insomnia Cookies. It was a little tricky to find because the sign was so small but I eventually found it with all the construction going on. They have a good variety of cookie options and the staff was pretty friendly. I went for the double chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of mint chocolate chip in a cup and it was sooooo good!! What a joke, i ordered cookies for delivery and i check back about 45 mins later and it says "order canceled" i call the store and she says that it was canceled by the Postmates driver. She says she resets it to be delivered, now at a later time. I get another message saying my order was canceled. I never got a reschedule, never got a call telling me what was going to happen or if i was going to get my money back. I'm now sitting on hold with these assholes who can't even pick up their customer service phone. I've been on hold ten minutes and still nothing. After having a terrible morning, I decided to go treat myself with a cookie. They had a decent selection of cookies and also a decent selection of ice cream from which you could make an ice cream cookie sandwich if wanted and also larger things like Cookie Cakes. There was a smaller cookie cake that said "Sorry about your day-- Have a cookie" that I was tempted to get but couldn't justify pigging out on the giant $10 cookie by myself. I instead chose to get a Deluxe Smores Cookie which was at a higher ~$3.5 price point than the standard cookies ~$1.75? (Don't quote me on these prices-- I don't fully remember) but it was significantly bigger and had more complex toppings with marshmallows and cracker crumbs. The first thing that surprised me was my cookie was handed to me warm! Yum! I took it with me, sat down, and took a bite and the middle was nice, soft, and gooey. A pretty good cookie! Really hit the spot. The prices seem to be on the higher side of the spectrum but with the variety, deluxe options, and the novelty of a warm cookie I'd say I'd easily go here for cookies alone if you have a hankering rather than somewhere else like slickables which, although also has good cookies, doesn't serve theirs warm. I can't compare the two when it comes to the taste of their ice cream sandwiches, though. But on the base level, Slickables has their price point beat on that for sure. l also saw that they had a vegan cookie available if that interests anyone! Never EVER order cookies from here for delivery. I ordered for my son at ASU and hours past the promised delivery time he still hadn't received them. I called the store and was assured they would re-deliver within an hour. They blamed use of a third party delivery service for not delivering the cookies as scheduled. Two hours went by and still my son had no cookies. I called the store yet again and this time they couldn't even find my order. Again they took no accountability and blamed the delivery service. At that point I just wanted a refund so I could order treats from another vendor. I had to call yet another number to get my refund. So I totally love this place, and loved the girl working with Mandy on the night shift of 12/10/19- but Mandy is incredibly rude. Being that my group all work in the food industry, we understand the importance of good customer service. Not only was Mandy incredibly rude to the group, she was also extremely demeaning to her coworker. After reading all of these reviews this place has me scared to go back. They have no bathrooms, no parking and the worker who helped us was very rude. It sucks to see a place that has great cookies have awful workers and I can see they have problems with customer service. We ordered a cookie cake for my son's birthday party this weekend and it was a disaster. The order said it would be ready at 6:45PM, we ordered a couple hours ahead of time. We showed up around 7:15 and was told it was just cooling and would be out shortly. We waited for an hour for the cookie and they were out of the gift boxes we paid for, but gave a Halloween one and said "it's close". They warned that they couldn't get some of the parchment paper off of the bottom of the cookie and it should be no problem, it's just paper but there are some pieces on the cookie. Lo and behold, we get the cookie home and it's raw and undone, the icing and topping look sloppily done and it's partially deformed.
