I came here on 7/20/26 in the evening and the service was terrible ! The lady had a chip on her shoulder or something. She got upset at me for not choosing the cookies in the order that she expected, and then barked at me because I tried to pay with cash. After I paid with card she turned around angrily and went to the back kitchen, no receipt given to me or anything. I've been to many locations - gaslamp, Sacramento, Costa Mesa, the service is always a positive experience. So I asked her which vegan cookies she had and we went back and forth trying to assemble a box of 6 cookies. She ended up giving me two cookies with dairy and I have a dairy allergy. I have always heard of Insomnia Cookies but had never really been near one to try them. My daughter and I were in LA and ended up walking around WEHO and passed by and decided to give them a try. She got a macadamia nut cookies (which came out of a warmer so it had that fresh out of the oven taste) and I tried the brookie. Both were very tasty and slightly addicting/crave able. It was fairly late on a Saturday night (around 10:30PM) and there were a few people ahead of us in line. The store is not too big, not too small and no seating inside. Staff working was very nice and if you weren't sure what to get were happy to help you pick the perfect sweet treat. I will for sure be on the lookout for these cookies when we are out and about! read more

I love the concept and idea of Insomnia Cookies more than the cookies themselves. I wanted to love them real bad. This was my second time coming and both times were this same location. Someone told me location matters, she said she first had them in Illinois and they were amazing. She still likes them but says Illinois' is better than Socal The cookies are a bit small for the price in my opinion and are pretty basic, albeit fresh and warm. Nothing to crave about however. We were hanging in West Hollywood and decided to go to Insomnia for some to-go cookies! My sister noticed they have a great rewards program that offers free cookies when you first sign-up, so I highly recommend trying that out! They have a great selection of cookie options, even gluten free in case you have this dietary restriction. The cookies get packaged up in an easy to transport box, which I appreciated since we were taking everything to go. Super yummy cookies that aren't too large of a serving. Delivery was supposed to take 30-40 mins. A full hour after the delivery was supposed to arrive, 90 minutes after the placing order, I called the restaurant. They said it should be there in 15 mins. Called back after 30 minutes. They said it was marked in their system as delivered. Had to call Postmates directly, wait on hold forever to get the order refunded. When you order from Insomnia on any delivery app, they say they use some other 3rd party to deliver, so you cannot track through the app you ordered it on. It's infuriating. read more

This is my second time trying this spot. The first time someone had some cookies delivered to my husband and I must say I am so grateful they did. I reordered them because they are delicious. The cookies arrived nice and warm and ready to eat. The business called me to let me know that they were out of one of the flavors I had ordered and kindly gave me a different one. This place should be taken off of Uber Eats. I waited 20 minutes after the max delivery window only to get the wrong order. I had a deluxe smores and deluxe pb cup and they sent me a couple random regular cookies. I immediately called the store who apologized and said they were sending the correct cookies right away...I was polite, patient, understanding, and if that had actually happened like they promised, there wouldn't be this review. I'm a firm believer that the double chocolate chip cookie here is one of the best cookies in existence and you just can't change my mind. This time ordering was somewhat disappointing as they were cold upon arrival and just not as gooey as they usually are. I'm so glad Insomnia has locations in LA! Back in Chicago it was one of my go to indulgent treats. And here it's right near the heart of WeHo and open until 2am! What a win for all the bars nearby. I am a cookie connoisseur and haven't come across one from Insomnia I don't love. M&M Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle - they are done so well. Recipes are on point with perfect flavor and they are always baked just right. I've picked up in person and had delivery - they are great either way. This past weekend, my friend and I came by for some dessert and ended up being intrigued by the new ice cream options. We asked what they were and the staff explained so thoroughly and with such fervor that we couldn't help but get them. The Ice cream itself is bomb here! But the two new combos they do are creative and cool with cookie butter, ice cream, cookie bits, various topping options and topped off with more ice cream on top if you're smart. Obsessed. Tried a few options including the gluten free chocolate chip, the vegan birthday cake, then regular flavors like mixed berry, banana split, s'mores, m&m, and sugar cookie. This was my second time visiting and I'm finally making my review! I must start by saying, the cookies must be good if I travel from Torrance to West Hollywood for them! I love that they are open late, hints the name, but it makes a great stop for a late night sweet tooth. Cookies are usually warm and fresh and that's a plus in my book. They always have a good selection and even a good amount of vegan cookies! My favorites are the s'mores and peanut butter cup cookies. The deluxe cookies do come out too $4 each but somehow I still go for those lol I do not know why places are not big on customer service lately but I feel as if service should match what your company sells. The peanut butter cookie was a little bit on the harder side, but both the snickerdoodle and chocolate chunk were so soft and delicious. Not too sweet compared to Mrs. Field's cookies. They have deals if you get 4 deluxe cookies or 6 regular cookies, and some various combinations of that as well.
