Pickled Blueberry and Strawberry Pie Ice Cream Kid Size

Cool ice cream shop that sources ingredients from local farms! They let you sample the ice cream here and I tried a lot of flavors and many of them weren't appealing to me to be honest. The flavors and textures just weren't the best quality to me. However, the Pickled Blueberry and Strawberry Pie Ice Cream which I selected was pretty good, but could be better. The prices for the ice cream are pretty much what you would expect in LA and the sizes are small. They change the flavors here often, so they have unique creations every now and then. The service was also good here, the servers were nice and gave us recommendations. Overall, this was a standard LA ice cream shop to me, but I could still see myself coming back if I was in the area craving ice cream.

What I ordered: - Yuzu boysenberry - Burnt sugar vanilla - Milk & cookies Another great addition to my list of amazing LA ice cream spots, they have creative dairy and vegan options for all the sweet tooths out there. I appreciate that not only are the ingredients sourced locally, but each ice cream is made fresh daily. You can definitely taste the quality and effort. The yuzu boysenberry had little bits of delightful boysenberry jam. The boysenberry flavor was prominent, but lacked citrus from the yuzu. Overall, it was thick and creamy with very high quality ingredients. Could definitely taste the caramelized "burnt sugar" in the burnt sugar vanilla, was not overbearing. Thick and creamy as well, my favorite flavor of the night. The milk & cookies has the same amazing quality and texture as the previous two flavors. If you like a crunch in your ice cream, the nicely salted pieces of pecan will hit the spot!

This is a fun little shop and I hope it keeps going because the ice cream is delicious. I've tried several different flavors and even got a jar of the lavender honey for my niece's birthday, which she loves because it's her absolute favorite flavor. recently the flavor that I really enjoyed was the Keylime pie. It had just perfect tartness and sweetness. It gets you right in the feels if you know what I mean. So not only can you get scoops of ice cream, You can also get "to go" . To go comes these really awesome jars. It's not cheap, but it's quality ice cream, and delicious.

Blown away by this ice cream shop! They have a ton of unique and seasonal flavors as well as plenty of vegan options. They let us sample a few before making our selections. I ordered one scoop of the butterscotch Oreo fudge and was transported to heaven on earth. My husband got the Vietnamese coffee which was incredible on its own but even better when we mixed our selections together! One scoop is larger than you think, so go for the Childs scoop if you only want a bit of a treat. The shop has indoor and outdoor seating and has a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend stopping in to treat yourself!

If you love homemade ice cream, Ginger's Divine Ice Cream is definitely worth visiting! This was my first visit, and I will be coming back for sure! Ginger's boast homemade pops and ice cream for dairy & non-dairy/vegan ice cream lovers with catchy names that will make you very curious to try a taste test!!! I fell in love with the Lavender Burnt Sugar and the Turkish Coffee flavors. The lavender is indeed very calming and you get just enough punch of coffee with the Turkish Coffee flavor without it being overpowering. It's very smooth and creamy. You can tell it's homemade!!! I went to the location on 3rd street which is that ideally located next to Kreation and down the street from Lala Land Cafe!!! The yellow decor is also a favorite as it add to the ambiance of the ice cream experience. A must recommend in my book!!!

The flavors are SO fun, and it's a cute ice cream shop on 3rd street. I loved sampling their popular flavors, like the key lime pie which I ended up getting with the mint oreo! They also offer vegan and seasonal flavors too :) The waffle cone was rock-hard but I still enjoyed it. Not the creamiest ice cream but I do love the variety of flavors!

Very tasteful waffle cone and good ice cream. Good service to let us try different flavors

I love their ice cream! Freshly made on site, Ginger's has a huge variety of regular and vegan delights. Their ice cream is super creamy and bursting with sweetness. I love the flavors that have things mixed in because they definitely don't skimp! I also love that the dairy and fruit are locally sourced. They are always adding new limited and seasonal flavors so I come in often to try them out. You can get scoops in a cone, cup or in an ice cream sandwich with cookies. The store has a sunny and bright vibe. They offer also offer giant brownies as well as pints to go. Service is always prompt, though as of late, the staff don't seem so thrilled to be there m, but the important part to me is the ice cream so I don't mind.

Was around the area and decided to try this place. Lots of interesting flavors and some were pretty good. The ice cream we settled was the peach and vanilla with burnt caramel. Both decent but the flavors didn't punch thru as much.

Ginger's Divine Ice Cream. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. They have an impressive variety of flavors, and the staff was happy to let me sample a few. I ended up going with the Girl Scout Samoa, which truly tasted like the cookie, rich and satisfying. I also got the yuzu along with a berry flavor that surprised me in the best way. The yuzu was my favorite, striking a perfect balance between citrus and sweetness. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.

Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

My friend and I stayed in line for 20 minutes before we were able to place our order, we had only 10 minutes to spare before our tickets at the Aratani Theatre. We wanted to have the milk and 8-bit boysenberry swirl soft serve in a cup. Unfortunately, we realized that we had to decide between possibly not being led into our reserved seat at the theater or missing out on this delicious dessert. It was just a matter of not realizing how long it would take. I don't blame Somisomi because they had a huge number of ahbong to make fresh, and of course, there was no way to cut in line We ended up telling the lovely staff that we had to leave, and to please give our orders under "Coco" to someone for free so it wouldn't be wasted. I'm sure it would've been tart and delicious!! The staff were working hard and very patient. They sometimes had to call names three times to get a response for adding toppings. If you go there and it's crowded, please be patient and also please be ready to go up to claim your order right away for the sake of the waiting hungry crowd ;)!
