cannoli with rocotra filling and semi sweet choco chips
    MossBurger C.

headed to this place for some cannoli. located in some outdoor food court. small booth. shared seating with other vendiors. parking validated by store. 1.5 hours. typical european type bakery with crossianrts, tarts, cookies etc. items look home made quallity not some fancy michelin pastry shop. ordered what i came for the cannoli with semi sweet choco chips. total damage $6. eveyrthing is premade and behind a gkass cabinet. so waited 1 minute and got the food. and the verdict. its ok. its like what you get at ralphs. not mind blowing but just solid bite. tastes like what your mom would make at home. nothing fancy but satisfying. filling was njcely sweet and outer shelll good crunch. at $6 will definietly repeat if around the area.

Great service and people. It's a family owned small bakery that feels very local. The parking is horrendous soo parking across the street at Whole Foods. No seating, it's a deli and bakery in one. I had the baklava. It was dry and very mediocre...traditionally it is layered, wet, and soft. This is not a traditional version, it's a Mediterranean version. Food: C Ambience: C+ Price: B Location: C Service: A

a baked pastry on a piece of tin foil

I got some beef tongue and a pastry filled with lamb. The beef tongue was meh to me. After I heated it up, it carried a strong smell that kind of bothered me. Flavor wise it was good but a bit too oily for me taste. The pastry, on the contrary, was super good! I heated it up in the oven and finished it in 3mins. The outside was perfectly crisp and the lamb inside was flavorful and juicy. These combination of carbs, meat and a bit of fat was very hard to resist, especially when the flavors were on point. Will probably go back to try their other pastry

    Looks yummy but tastes bad!

    Ask the Community - T & Y Bakery

During Covid-19, what are their Sunday hours?

Where can you park for 3 or 4 hours on a Saturday night...arecthere any pay parking lot and when do the street meters become free?

There is parking behind the bakery, yet limited to those shopping in the storefronts on Santa Monica Blvd. You could ask the staff.

Are they open on Christmas Day and if so, what are the hours?

The chocolate chip cookie with rice krispies "Summer Camp Chip" ($4.25) has delicious flavor and if you enjoy soft & chewy with a slight crisp, they hit all textural marks for excellence. This has become our absolute favorite snack to get here and I gots to have it every time I'm in. The chocolate pop tart is solid. We prefer the taste of this to the brownie cookie...we aren't big on that one. I had such high hopes because I love brownies and obvi love cookies, but alas, personal taste preference. The chocolate cake pudding ($4.25) is a rich and decadent treat that can be eaten right out of the wrapper it comes in! I was surprised I loved this chocolate cake soaked in chocolate custard with a few marshmallows and caramel on top. The Peanut Butter El Rollo is a tiny but cute little guy at $5.50. They make their own peanut buttercream for the inside filling and the chocolate is just wonderful. I like their bars One of my favorite things at Cake Monkey is the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cakewich. This mini cakes are just $5.75 and individually wrapped so make for great little gifts to bring to a housewarming or event. Plus it's gluten-free and vegan so all our friends can enjoy it! Cakewiches for the win at Cake Monkey Bakery! I've only tried the Matcha Latte in the drink department here and was satisfied with it. I'd like to try some of their fizzy drinks but they were out of tonic water this morning. Next time! And there will definitely be another time with Cake Monkey Bakery! They just have SO MANY options here, it's easy to find multiple baked goods you can enjoy here. I'm a fan.

Background On Visit: I was primarily going to RWT (Pokemon Card Shop) Collective on the second floor of the plaza, Something about the line and a average of 5 stars on their yelp page made me want to patronize the shop. So I did. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Restroom: Didn't see a restroom. :) Wait Time: Can be long. Luckily, I didn't wait long when I patronized the shop. Location/Parking: Located in a plaza on the NW corner of Sawtelle Blvd. and W. Olympic. There's a couple of shared 15 minute parking spots in the parking lot, paid parking structure, or meter parking along Olympic, Sawtelle, or surrounding streets. I did find a secret place with free 2 hour parking on the NE corner of Purdue Ave. and Olympic Blvd.. :) Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with a few modern furnishings to sit, eat, and enjoy ones company. Service: Service was great! Tera (staffer) was very nice, attentive, offered great suggestions, and was quite informative about the shop. She also informed me that I was able to get two complimentary macarons. Patisserie Of Choice: 1) Blossom: Consisted of vanilla mousse, pistachio/red berries insert, pistachio crunch, and pistachio sponge. It was too pretty to eat, but I ate it anyways. So good and soo yum! 2) Roche: Consisted of hazelnut mousse, house made praline combined with soft caramel, hazelnut sponge. Taste like a Ferrer Rocher! It's very dense and sweet, but great to eat. Not something I'll have all the time. Macarons Of Choice : I got the Cookies and Cream and pistacio. They were both good. Artelice Patisserie For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back. I'm coming for you almond croissant.

Personally, I don't like that style, I was hoping the original would change that for me! Long story short, I didn't like the Walnut Chocolate Chip. I personally just don't like that style still, so I'll chalk it up as a "me" problem. The cooked part was good. The Rocky Road was cooked through. It was an amazing baked good with good flavor and add-ins. Between the roasted almond slices and fudgey chocolate chips, I was enjoying it immensely. A highlight of my day for sure. It's relatively busy but the line moved swiftly. The Larchmont store was pretty lively with the crowded and colorful wall deco! It's pretty fun to see that they came up with more seasonal items lately and most of them nailed it well when they came to cookies. Previously the lemon one and the most recent was the Raspberry Pistachio which I was impressed by as I just fancied sweet and refreshing combo of white chocolate and raspberry. The pistachio added more texture to it for sure. Same as any Levain cookies, best enjoyed warm and fresh out of oven. The Cookie Milk Latte was actually the main reason bringing me here, yet I was bit let down by it as I was expecting more malty cookie flavor in the drink. I felt it tasted not much different to regular cream top latte with some cookie crumbles in it.
