Spring 2019 we hired our same home inspection company from when we purchased 10 years prior to do a…read morepre-list inspection. We addressed the couple items on the report and listed our home with confidence. Received an offer the first weekend and went into inspection. The buyers' inspector found mold in our attic; mold that our pre-list inspection did not find. Sure enough there was mold. Nick was the buyers' inspector who found it. With our home sale in jeopardy we quickly addressed the matter and thankfully closed. When I asked the other company why they didn't find the mold that had built up over the course of years, their reply was they weren't required to walk in the attic; they met state requirements and Nick exceeded the requirements. We received a refund from them. When it came to needing an inspection for our home we were in the process of purchasing, of course we contacted Nick. He was the one who found the mold our previous inspector failed to and we wanted someone who would exceed requirements. We also hired him to do another inspection right before our 1 year warranty expired. We'll be hiring him for any future needs and highly recommend him to everyone.
