I have had such the run around since I moved to the area and he's nothing like what I experienced. He didn't ask me what the problem was UNTIL he took his OWN X-rays and went over them. I was worried about the risks involved and wanted a 2nd opinion. Dr. Nelson and his assistant Tiffany were really friendly with my daughter when we went to the back. She was hesitant to open her mouth but eventually the doctor successfully coaxed her to open wide to do the exam. After he was done looking at my daughter's teeth, he then recommended laughing gas to reduce my daughter's anxiety and at the same time to get all the work done with her while awake. We came back on a different day to allow more time for everything to be completed. Dr. Nelson was so gentle and patient with my daughter and made her feel comfortable before moving on to the next step! At the end of the visit, my daughter picked out a cute capsule toy to take home. She said it was easy and wants to do it again! To think a 4 year old said that on her own is unbelievable... I think we found our forever pediatric dentist! But when I heard that he needs some filling I just wanted to take him to a pediatric dentist and get another opinion and if needed to be taken care off at this office as well. The staff was very nice and friendly from scheduling to helping me out filling out each form. Dr Kwon is amazing with children. I have three boys and this is not the first time I am taking one of my child to a dentist. But I have never met a dentist who is patient and also great in explaining each procedure to the children. She even showed a little YouTube clip to my 6 year to ease some fears he might have before sealing some of the molars. And of course she explained everything in detail to me and checked in if I have any questions. After everything was done. The decision to move my little ones to her was easy. Even though we love our family dentist. We emailed them to discuss the problems and they simply ignored us. They also claimed to have fixed my son's molar issue but it had to be redone by another in-network provider. We took all the precautions they said and my son still vomited. They never told us he should not have dairy the night before. They give little toys to your child though, if you are willing to pay thousands of dollars for a rubber toy worth a few bucks!
