Beautifully renovated new cafe in Wakefield Center. Delicious coffee and food and giving everyone the opportunity to work. Amazing collaboration between the Boys & Girls Club of Metro North, the town of Wakefield, and the Commonwealth of MA.

What a wonderful idea for a cafe. Everyone is so friendly, my iced coffee was delicious and so was my breakfast sandwich. I'll definitely be back to patronize a place with so much heart at the heart of it!

I love love love inspire cafe. I followed their journey on social media as they were rebuilding and was so excited to go after their opening. I loved this concept ever since bitty & beau! As someone who works with children with ASD, I recommend this cafe to all my coworkers / peers. Aside from the amazing movement and message , the pastries and coffee was great. Service was good and quick and everything was super tasty. Can't wait to return.

The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. I had it topped with two over medium eggs which were perfectly cooked. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!

Early Harvest Diner in Wakefield, MA is a solid neighborhood breakfast spot with a…read moresmall-to-medium-sized dining room and a good amount of seating. They offer regular table seating, counter seats, and booths. The booths, however, are pretty uncomfortable--despite having a cushion, you immediately feel the wooden board underneath when you sit down, which takes away from the experience a bit. We went around 11:00 AM on a Saturday and were seated quickly with no wait, though I can imagine on a busier morning there could be a decent wait time given the diner's size. The menu has a good variety, but pricing can be a little confusing. Some menu prices don't always reflect the final cost due to fluctuating egg prices. There is a sticker noting this, but it's easy to miss and may not be obvious to customers. We ordered the steak and eggs, which came out to $20 and was cooked nicely to a true medium rare. The hash browns weren't overdone and had a great crunch on the outside. The pancake we tried was very fluffy, and their iced coffee was genuinely delicious. We also ordered the Double Double, which also cost $20 and offered a decent portion of food for the price, along with sausage links as a side. They do offer real maple syrup for waffles or pancakes, though it costs extra. One thing I found to be a flaw is that the maple syrup and ketchup on the table had no labels--personally, I like knowing the brand or ingredients of what I'm eating. The same went for the hot sauce they offered; it was served in an unlabeled glass bottle. It tasted very similar to Frank's RedHot and had the same consistency, but it would be nice to know for sure. The staff is kind and attentive when it comes to taking your order and delivering food, but once the plates hit the table, check-ins are minimal. If you need something, you may have to flag someone down. Parking isn't bad since it's located in a plaza, and there's additional parking in the back if the main lot fills up. Overall, Early Harvest Diner is a nice place to grab breakfast with your family or significant other without breaking the bank. The food quality is solid, but the vibe could benefit from a refresh to feel a bit more cozy and modern.

Our waitress was not the most pleasant but the rest of the supporting team were superb so for that reason, I'm not going to hold it against the establishment because all around the rest of our customer service experience was terrific. The food is good diner food. It's a diner so don't expect too much ambience. Just expect to be seated and to enjoy some food. I will say the food also arrived very timely. That's good to make out of. I highly recommend getting the patriot you will not regret it. It is an indulgence, but there's fruit involved so consider that Points for yourself sit down and enjoy really a nice fine. Don't let the outside of the place dissuade you from going on inside pop in and enjoy.

One visit the nasty one at Winchester told me they were out yet I saw the muffin on a rack not yet ready to put out front? So this was my first visit to this Wakefield location ... same issues and staff nasty here too but a bit better as more mature employee? I ordered 6 muffins and wanted 2 in a separate box as a gift to someone and the other 4 in a different box...she puts the two in a bag... Good muffins whose calling card for most is a layer of cream filling sandwiched in. -- Blueberry Muffin: Great crispness on the majestic overhang expansive enough to provide shelter from the rain. Nice subtle flavor that doesn't try to trick you with sugar, but it's lacking fat to make it sufficiently moist. Fruit seems frozen. No spheres with burst of juiciness. -- Gingerbread Muffin: More of a pumpkin spice flavor than full gingerbread. Similar characteristics in being a little dry, not being too sweet and having good crunch. The cream layer is a buttercream similar to white cake frosting, with maybe a hint of cream cheese. Good muffins worthy of the rotation, but I'd hesitate to say great. Beautiful to look at, though. Kudos to the team for moving the line efficiently.
