I think this was one of the best iced lattes I have ever had. The milk and espresso were perfectly muted and bright at the same time. I got my usually iced latte with cinnamon powder and it may have been the best one I have ever had. I have no photos because the evidence was completely destroyed in minutes. read more

This place is a must try. Between the service, coffee, food and vibes, it's more than five stars! Even sitting in here for just 30 minutes allowed us a glimpse into what it's probably like every day- all different folks coming in, being greeted by name, and quickly back out the door with their favorites in hand. The breakfast sandwiches were huge and the ciabatta bread was the perfect balance of thin and crispy with soft and fluffy. The salted Carmel macchiato was delicious! Oh my gosh! If you have not been here for coffee or lunch, you are losing out big time! The lattes, coffees, are amazing. Their sandwiches are beyond! I have been getting the knot a club sandwich. It is amazing! It's not just lettuce, it's arugula, it's not just tomato, it's roasted Tomatoes, it's not just mayo, it's a mayo aïoli. The bread! Is out of this world! I've been twice and have had great experiences both times. It's cute inside and the owner is very friendly to customers and kind to his staff. I had a tasty salted caramel latte and an really good chocolate chip cookie the first time, and the second time had the Hero specialty iced coffee which was delicious and the best cinnamon scone I've ever had. We have been to Rebel many times and have loved the breakfast sandwiches that are always fresh and delicious. Today we got two Rebel sandwiches and both had eggs that were so dried out and hard they were almost inedible. This was such a bummer considering the price and that this is not what we expected coming here. Well! This place was a pleasant surprise! My friend and I came here for breakfast (beware of the limited seating, but we arrived at a good time to sit at the counter and eat together), and I was SO impressed with the food. I ordered the Drifter--oh my gosh. Heavenly. My friend requested an egg and cheese with a vegan black bean patty, and she loved it. Though I didn't try it, the patty looked like it held together really well and was visually appealing. The coffees were also solid, though I would tweak my order in the future. I got the Oats & Honey specialty drink, as oat milk lattes with honey are my go-to coffee splurge. The oatmilk was good, but there was slightly too much honey going on. I'd get it again but with half the honey. The staff were friendly and hospitable; they went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. Looking forward to the next visit! read more

SIMPLY THE BEST CUP OF COFFEE PERIOD! Kaffemandu's coffee is pathetic comparably speaking. My friend saw me walking outta Rebel, told me "you gotta try Kaffe". I did and threw it away, walked four doors down and had a real cup of coffee. If you're into dunks or McDs this ain't for you, it's actual coffee. Deep full flavored but not burnt or overpowering. They NAILED it. I don't know about their other coffee drinks but get a large regular cup of coffee. Best you've ever had. Although if I have one gripe.... Hence the 4s. I oh so want to give them 5 though. The airpots they use.. The coffee should be hotter (not dunks burn your face off hot) but hot. Often it's just not hot enough. But. What a great find! I was on my way to the beach and I came across this great shop. Fantastic customer service. Unique coffee drinks but also classic ones. I got the "kingdoms trail" which was espresso, oat milk, Vermont maple syrup, and Himalayan sea salt! It was delicious. And big! I also ordered a turkey sandwich which was made on great bread. Found this gem of a place while I was looking for coffee shops near my hotel in Danvers. This isn't just a small coffee shop. The bakery section will leave you drooling and in massive need of stretchy pants. The chocolate chip cookies are incredible. The chocolate chip scones are a chocolate lovers dream. The chorizo and gouda scone is one of the most obscenely delicious things I've ever eaten. Followed closely by the feta and spinach croissant. The cappuccino is perfection. I am already lamenting not buying more bakery items to take home. Like willing to drive the 4 hours back there just to be like "give me two of everything please" kind of lamenting. Alas.....I will have to wait until next time. But if you happen to be in the Danvers area.....or anywhere near there....you seriously need to check this place out. My wife and I frequent this coffee shop because of the great beverages, but just as important is their customer service. They go above and beyond every time we are in there (either for us or other guests). They recently announced two vegan options which we had to try.
