So good! Lots of options. Great bagels and tried the soufflé spinach and feta and was delicious. Very friendly service. Nice areas to sit.

Good vibes. Quick service. Food quality was the main driver for the review. Surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. Kudo's to the people that are running this place.

The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. I had it topped with two over medium eggs which were perfectly cooked. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!

The coffee is really well-made, though if you're ordering one of their specialty drinks, just a heads-up that they lean a little on the sweeter side. As for the food, the portions are huge! We ordered a side of bacon and I'm pretty sure we ate about 10 pieces and still left with a box. While the pancakes were just okay and probably something I'd skip next time to make room for new items, the rest of the meal was solid enough to keep me coming back. One thing you have to try is their signature ketchup. It's super interesting--almost like a cross between American Ketchup and Asian Banana Ketchup. We definitely needed a few extra helpings of ketchup for our eggs and hash bowl! The atmosphere is such a vibe, too; it has this modern-meets-ranch feel with a super cute rooster mural on the wall that ties it all together. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It's a great spot to fuel up for the day!

I love the versatility of the menu! I am celiac gluten free and almost their WHOLE menu can be made safely! This is so rare, I appreciate how thoughtful they are on keeping the community safe. I ended up getting a scramble and my friend got a sandwich. Both were delicious and filling, I even got seconds on my scramble. Can't wait to find another reason to come back!

Early Harvest Diner in Wakefield, MA is a solid neighborhood breakfast spot with a…read moresmall-to-medium-sized dining room and a good amount of seating. They offer regular table seating, counter seats, and booths. The booths, however, are pretty uncomfortable--despite having a cushion, you immediately feel the wooden board underneath when you sit down, which takes away from the experience a bit. We went around 11:00 AM on a Saturday and were seated quickly with no wait, though I can imagine on a busier morning there could be a decent wait time given the diner's size. The menu has a good variety, but pricing can be a little confusing. Some menu prices don't always reflect the final cost due to fluctuating egg prices. There is a sticker noting this, but it's easy to miss and may not be obvious to customers. We ordered the steak and eggs, which came out to $20 and was cooked nicely to a true medium rare. The hash browns weren't overdone and had a great crunch on the outside. The pancake we tried was very fluffy, and their iced coffee was genuinely delicious. We also ordered the Double Double, which also cost $20 and offered a decent portion of food for the price, along with sausage links as a side. They do offer real maple syrup for waffles or pancakes, though it costs extra. One thing I found to be a flaw is that the maple syrup and ketchup on the table had no labels--personally, I like knowing the brand or ingredients of what I'm eating. The same went for the hot sauce they offered; it was served in an unlabeled glass bottle. It tasted very similar to Frank's RedHot and had the same consistency, but it would be nice to know for sure. The staff is kind and attentive when it comes to taking your order and delivering food, but once the plates hit the table, check-ins are minimal. If you need something, you may have to flag someone down. Parking isn't bad since it's located in a plaza, and there's additional parking in the back if the main lot fills up. Overall, Early Harvest Diner is a nice place to grab breakfast with your family or significant other without breaking the bank. The food quality is solid, but the vibe could benefit from a refresh to feel a bit more cozy and modern.

Our waitress was not the most pleasant but the rest of the supporting team were superb so for that reason, I'm not going to hold it against the establishment because all around the rest of our customer service experience was terrific. The food is good diner food. It's a diner so don't expect too much ambience. Just expect to be seated and to enjoy some food. I will say the food also arrived very timely. That's good to make out of. I highly recommend getting the patriot you will not regret it. It is an indulgence, but there's fruit involved so consider that Points for yourself sit down and enjoy really a nice fine. Walking in, it was ABSOLUTELY packed and super busy, but luckily with our reservation, we were seated within 10 minutes! I had been CRAVING Chicken and Waffles and BOY it did not disappoint! I was served with the most perfectly made waffle with butter that just fell into the crevices and melted along with the most PERFECTLY CRISPY CHICKEN! I was extremely hungry, so I absolutely devoured it, but it hands down had to have been one of the best Chicken and Waffle plates I've ever had. Although I didn't drink the Espresso Martinins, my friends that did drink it enjoyed it thoroughly. Despite how packed and busy they were, the service was FAST and our waiter was so sweet and attentive and the vibe was just so fun and lively! It was such a wonderful way to start our day in Boston and I 1000% would come back here if I could again!

That was nice. Food 6/10- hash was burnt but eggs and English muffin were good as well as the little mini hashbrowns . French toast was really good though . Now let's talk about the cons : 1- for those that cannot have whole milk in your coffee, prepare to drink hot tea or a cocktail because they only have a whole milk option which was beyond frustrating. 2- service was mehhhhh. More servers than tables yet it seemed as though they were rushing us out as they kept eyeing our table and the other couple behind us yet there were plenty of empty tables. Ambiance is dope , I loved the cool art and set up but I'd never return.
