There's a 3-day MLK Volleyball Tournament here starting today. There's NO ONE cleaning the bathrooms. No paper towels. Bathrooms are FILTHY AND SMELLY!!!!!!!!! They charge $10 for parking and $8/adults for entry!!!!! They should have workers cleaning the facilities. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! No wonder everyone's getting sick!!! SO SO SO GROSS!!!!!! Day 2 of tournament - NO ONE cleaned before tournament began this morning. Trash is overflowing from yesterday and there's a puddle on the floor so they put a towel down. read more

The "tournaments" here are a joke. The teams that play here are lower level than most tournaments and there are only a couple teams participating in each category. They are trying to rebrand with their website and they can't even get their schedules updated or posted. I can't believe this place has survived. Save yourself the money and play at better venues with real tournaments. We cringe when we have to play here. read more

Young staff is energetic and has great personalities. Unfortunately, not good enough to overcome the weird pay to park, how hot it is inside, the smell, the bathrooms and oh my god the officials. Oh and the scorekeepers. Why are you on your phone or have headphones in while your keeping score. I watched one game and me my kids counted 24 points left off the scoreboard. 2 mins and 30 seconds of clock not being stopped during timeouts. Most unprofessional officials I have ever seen. Never heard 1 parent get out of line, just normal disagreements with calls, but these refs are so thin skinned and unprofessional. I watched two refs walk over near a parent who disagree with their travel call during a timeout and stare him down. When he asked if the ref could explain the travel so he could explain it to his kid, the ref said "don't talk to me, don't talk to the refs you've been unprofessional" no dude your unprofessional and it really seemed like you and your buddy targeted his kid and then tried to provoke him so you could toss him. It was the two guy refs on court 1 Saturday afternoon. They were terrible. The coaches even called over the staff to let them know just how bad these refs had been and I heard the coach say this ref doesn't want to be here. Talking to the parents of that team they said they had kids getting thrown to the ground, stepped under while jump shooting and then the other game finished with a kid winding up and swinging at another the kid. The refs response "we didn't see it" hahahaha every game on court 1 had problem with these two. Was happy when I walked in Sunday and saw neither ref in the morning for my daughters game read more

I want to like this place but I feel that if I pay $20 per person per day to watch my own child play basketball I should at least have a place to seat. I had to sit on the ground after paying. At one point a player fell from adjacent court and hit my daughter's back who was sitting in the floor next to me. I think planning for those tournaments capacity could improve. Facility is hot then freezing then hot. That is my opinion, but the restrooms , the restrooms are unmaintained 100%. I have came to this facility more than three times in the last 2 weeks and every time they are equally as bad. If I could give a 0 star I would. They tried to charge $20 to park even though it's in an industrial complex with all kinds of parking but to make the experience even worse they were charging $30 per person to get in. Me, my wife and daughter went to see a friends son play and it was $110 to watch one youth basketball game. That's insane, so we left. There was no adult to talk to about the prices as they had two little kids at the desk taking payment. Very bad look for the organizer and terrible experience for parents and families that pay a lot of money to put their kids in these club programs and want to support and see their kids play without breaking the bank even further. read more

Ugh...the heat in this establishment is only compounded by a bunch of sweating athletes and no air conditioning. To say that it is miserable in the summer here at Inspire is an understatement! To think I paid a $10/person entry fee to get in as well as a tournament fee for our team to play here?! I was not prepared for this kind of heat today. I mean we live in the desert, I guess I just expect everyone to keep the air conditioning running in this kind of heat! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the fact that we have a tournament gym with multiple courts in our area! Paid $20 for parking at this location during a volleyball tournament. 1st day entrance is blocked off so you have to pay $20 to park, asked attendant can we park straight ahead, "yes". No issues, 2nd day we have to be here again same thing paid and noticed one space available in same area, so we park again. We almost got towed!!! How do you block off an entrance, charge parking and not say just don't park in these spots or you will be towed. The whole point of paying was to prevent parking in the other business areas and getting towed. I'm sure the business nextdoor gets a kickback for getting cars towed and Inspire needs to do better. Come with me fellow parent friends on a basketball tournament journey... Yes. The parking is affiliated with the club...but when you arrive they will claim innocence and after you balk at the cost they will say "good luck then!" and send you to surrounding businesses to park. Plot twist, these businesses are pissed and when those businesses kick you out, you'll try to park maybe at the apartment complexes nearby and walk a mile to the facility. But seriously what am I talking about? you'll run that mile because you're driving from another court 45 minutes away so when you get there and they demand you pass them a crisp Andrew Jackson you'll already be late and you'll probably be enraged now at this egregious parking situation so you'll throw your kid out of the car to make their warm ups while driving on to park. In this economy, Inspire?! Ew. You'll miss most of the game because you're trying to park and you may not have tried to sprint a mile since your last presidential fitness test but good news!!!.....You get to pay $20 at the door. You'll then walk into an incredibly hot area that smells like people drop off diapers and leave. This is where the bathrooms are. I did not enter so that review you can make for yourself. Then you hit what I like to call the bad energy wind vortex that still manages to smell bad somehow. People with long hair should wear a hat. Or bring a hair tie. You'll be upset if you styled your hair that day. This also adds to people's merriment of being there....people just constantly being attacked by their own hair or the persons next to them. You're still somehow thankful the air is moving because of the smell and the refs will call a foul every .5 seconds while the score keepers barely pay attention and maybe put some points down. Are you having fun? No? Weird. Literally, why are any of us entering this facility let alone paying to get into it? Side note: please don't give the teens a hard time that they have working everything. That is intentional too. Traveled in from Texas. Paid $52 for my wife and I to watch our daughter in a two day tournament. No concession stand for even water and it's 88 degrees in the building. Worst of all We WERE FORCED TO PAY $20 FOR PARkING PER DAY! No advanced notice. The manager told me free parking is 1/2 a mile away in 111 degree heat. If I didn't pay he told me my car would be towed. There are a lot of families struggle to afford travel sports for their kids. Total bush league bait and switch. read more

They charge for parking and none of the large parking lots around this place allow you to park there. I wish az region would stop using facilities that are sub par. The ceiling is literally falling down. The bathrooms are 1-2 toilets and very dirty. Even the toilet paper isn't installed properly and the soap was not refilled after the games from the morning session. The positives with this facility is there is plenty of room to watch the teams play inside. Paying for a camp out front is ridiculous though. My hope is that they find better places for volleyball games. read more

hello. this was the worst venue we have witnessed and played in. it was more then 100 degrees and there was no air conditioning! also there was no trainer there if ur kids got injured. and not to mention the bathroom was disgusting. there was poop in one and a caution sign on one of them. also the seating arrangements were horrible, and there wasn't even enough of benches for the players. then first day there we had horrible refs and i mean horrible. $20 for parking?? are u crazy!!! if u didn't want to pay u had to park long ways away and walk in 100 degrees or more. for charging that much for parking u should atleast be able to have some air conditioning! i don't recommend this place at all. - cooter review read more

Two words, SWEAT LODGE! There is no AC. Nowhere in Arizona should it be cooler outside especially in the summertime!

It may look nice but parking for large tournaments is a disaster, no room for spectators on the smaller courts, and this is AZ, turn on the A/C!!! $12 to get in plus tournament fees for the players...there is no way it's too pricey to turn on the A/C...especially when covid is still an issue. Hot, stagnant air when it's still 100 degrees outside is just disgusting. I wish tournaments would stop using this gym until they resolve the A/C issue...or the greed issue. read more

Courts are dirty. Bathrooms filthy. They charge $25 per person to get in then block the driveway and charge you $10 to park in their tiny parking lot. Then they put together their own Inspire All Star team who were taunting our team, laughing and had the worst sportsmanship I have ever seen. And they were winning by at least 30. If my son was that good and even THOUGHT about acting like that, I would not let him play. It takes the spirit out of the game. Do not recommend this place. They charge us to get in for a regular season game and the A/C is not even on before the game to cool things off. It was 100 degrees inside as measured from my thermometer. In addition, my wife's wallet fell out of her purse when she was there and it was under the bleachers where no one could see it and one of the workers there found it. When we picked it up all of the cash inside was missing. It was only $60 in cash but it is just knowing that it was an employee that took it that is bad. You might want to interview your workers there before you hire them. My wife walked ahead of me with my son and she had the cash to pay to get in and they did not let me go get her. They had me wait and they went to get her. I felt like I was in grade school and they did not trust me. Also,. the snack shack was not even open and there was like at least 8 families there complaining. Please clean up your act as a formal complaint did not work. Tons of courts for volleyball and basketball! This is a great place for practice and tournaments!
