They just opened at the beginning of the month...so the few glitches in the system is not a surprise. They are adding classes all the time but the demand is high. I think this is due to just newly opening Did the Mother's Day massage and facial. Maria was amazing! I have taken a cycling class called Amp. Good class higher intensity Can't wait for the new classes coming I also went to a Dynamic Stretch session. Wow. Noticed a difference in my squat within the hour. Visited the Gilbert location. The guest pass process was more complicated than expected. It required downloading the app, creating a profile, and having the pass emailed, with the gym member needing to be present during the visit. Day pass pricing at the Gilbert location is $50 for adults and $30 for children, which feels high for what's offered. In the family locker room, several lockers were not functioning properly. Assistance was requested, and it was mentioned that the locker selected was already known to be broken, though it didn't appear to be marked or addressed to prevent the same issue for others. The pool area felt underwhelming and quiet. The hot tub is restricted to ages 12 and up, which may be limiting for families with younger children. We just cancelled our membership after about a year, due to disgusting negligence in the Kids Academy. They have several improper policies that put kids at risk just by being in the daycare. So much so as the employees have implemented their own "makeshift" strategies to supplement for the broken, unsafe system they currently have in place. There is little to no accountability when children come or go, leave or stay. Be VERY careful letting your kids attend the daycare area, we are currently going through legal action to compensate for our children being put at risk. Aside from this, this location is usually unclean, unsanitary, and extremely overpriced. STAY AWAY from this particular location if you prefer a safe, clean, gym experience! read more

Gilbert club on Warner Rd....once again the outside pool is closed because some kid had an "accident". This seems to happen 30 times a year. Most pools require swim diapers and responsible parents. This pool would rather kick everyone out, close the pool for 24 hours and shock it back to health. They would rather take away access from dues paying members than require a few parents to be responsible? Crappy business plan that shows a disregard for adult members. read more

Absolutely LOVE coming here. We've been part of few gyms in AZ, but this was the only one which had a pool. Besides that, everything else is Amazing here (just way better than other gyms) We recently joined, but, I am totally in love with their yoga classes, gym area and ofcourse the pools! The steam and sauna is amazing and I am sure with the right guidance I will be able to achieve my target weight reduction goal! I had been a member for many years including Onyx. The Gilbert location is the worst lifetime I experienced. Mainly the rude staff, and the club changed its design to focus more on the people who pay for the extra classes. Everything is always being used for some other purpose. Staff do not enforce any policies the gym has. If you point out the failure, you'll get some attitude from them. Good luck with the new gym design and the poor attitude/ staff. This gym is really expensive but don't get me wrong it is very good it has a full court basketball court and a sauna a steel room a pool and a kids center. If you use this gym for more than just the basketball court like I do it is worth the $120 a month! read more

My wife and I love this gym - because it's SOOOO much more than just a gym. It's like the Ritz Carlton met every local boutique fitness studio, combined them into something better and put them all under one roof. Plus the cafe, chiropractic, salon, etc. It's not the cheapest place, but it's the best money that we invest each month. read more

Nice enough facility here in Gilbert. Main issue is that the club needs better trained yoga teachers who have some understanding of how to communicate appropriately with members and a better yoga program in general. I had a very unpleasant experience with a certain instructor whose name starts with M. The gaslighting and lies from her were unacceptable. I enjoyed the club up to that point but no longer worth the price of admission for me. Amenities are good when wet sauna is open, but it is closed too often. read more

I've only been here once, but I didn't know what Life Time gyms were until I came as a guest with a friend. So many different options of things to do. There was normal weights, yoga, pickleball, rock climbing; it's a upscale gym similar to Equinox but bigger in my opinion. We went for a yoga class and I loved it. The facility is much cleaner than the Warner location; however, I find it frustrating that people are allowed to socialize in the lap pool areas. I'm there to exercise, not to engage in gossip. Additionally, the saunas often have individuals who seem to be conducting business meetings, when they should really be focusing on exercising, as they appear to be in poor shape. read more

Gonna give it to them, I was just mad that they closed down the basketball court during the day for kids camp during the summer, but they just opened up their cold plunge at this location, and it is amazing! Its huge and with water jets! This has improved my life 10 fold at least, especially for someone that have chronic back injury. Thank you! read more

Filth, this gym is very dirty! The staff is horrible, I asked for towels and told if I need towels so bad I should have came in with one. The sauna has white dirty towels not wood like most Life Time locations. My advice is just go to another location. I've always had a positive experience at Lifetime, but today was disappointing. I felt really uncomfortable and cornered during my interaction with the manager, Sandra. I've been a member since 2023 and had my membership on hold for a while before August I never placed it on hold and was charged again for September I been in for the past 3 days and no problem when I already been coming was told I can't come in and work out because i was in a hold when that was not my doing kinda sketch never had this happened but ultimately decided to cancel due to my upcoming move. Which I'm excited! . It was disturbing to have to handle this in front of others. I hope management can improve their customer service moving forward. It wasn't up to par. lifetime will always have my heart. I heard the new one is building on Val vista . Hopefully when I come back I'll go there instead. Karen at the front desk was aptly named. Incredibly rude and unwelcoming. I would switch her to a less customer based role. I tried to bring a guest and instead of politely walking me through the new system she was short, rude, and unhelpful. I would suggest training her on how to be kind! read more

They are so weird about the pools that they are unenjoyable. They are constantly monopolized by swim teams and unavailable for hours. Also there is this ridiculous get out of the pool constantly thing by the lifeguards for some sort of check I've never seen anywhere else. From what I hear they are also pro genocide. read more

Life Time is the best! We drive from southeast Gilbert to come here (about 25 min) as it fits my little family of 3, me and my two kids. I only wish they had a location closer but this isn't too bad of a drive! Now onto all of the good stuff... We joined because I like working out, having some me time but I also like doing that making sure my kids are also happy. When we come my daughter has plenty to do at the childcare, rock wall, kid classes. My son gets to practice his basketball as they have two amazing indoor courts. As a family we like time in one of the pools. We also like playing racket ball and basketball together. So much fun! The place is always clean and it's just an great health club. They have a ton of options, classes for adults and kids. I enjoy the cafe too! When we are in a hurry we workout, have our meal there and go to whatever next activity we have. They also have great wifi if you need to catch up with work on a busy weekday. They have a spa too and in the past I have had a massage there & it was great! Hands down I am so thankful for this health club because I can create and sustain a healthy and active lifestyle not just for me but for my whole family! read more

Lifetime fitness has gone way overboard with pricing for memberships. Clearly designed for the wealthier people. They "say" the have a sneakers program for members over 65 but then say "but theres a waiting list". (membership is free) I'm thinking well gosh I bet they just can't see their way to allowing Sr.s to work out for free because they have such low incomes, lets let the people with $ get first choice. Certainly a nose up feel. I use to be a member at lifetime and when I was it much more more reasonably priced and the entire family could join. Now forget it, Today it felt like I was being sized up/judged based on how I was dressed. I make a decent income and could afford it, however after that experience by a young lady who has champagne taste on a beer bottle budget no thank you. I was NOT impressed. I am not going to spend that much money to work out, all the other "amenities" they offer are pricey. I'll stick with gyms like EOS or Mountside that offer decent work out equipment, pools, spas and massage options. Vasa isn't bad either they have a nice set up but add ons are pricey. Only difference is they have a weight drop floor and basketball court. Not a bad gym though for the price. read more

This place has gone downhill. Nice slippery pool deck that was just installed to be torn out again. Might of helped to have the first pool deck company put down a test patch area before committing to a massive new area. So. No indoor pool and it's damn summer.. youCan't play basketball with the pickle ball and kids camp so it's a major failure. Go up to the weights and here's all these weight machines gone and replaced with wide open areas to do what nobody knows, maybe cross fit? Who knows. Great gym in the area. Love the pickleball courts and classes available to get everyone in shape. I enjoy the group fitness classes in the middle of the gym. Mostly because the coaches play great music and set a great ambiance for everyone working out. The equipment at this location are good compared to that of Esporta and mountainside. Cleanliness is on point and staff look happy and determined to help people signup/achieve their fitness goals. I know lifetime is a bit pricey but you pay for what you get such as towels, lotion, hairspray, deodorant, disposable razor, and every other amenity such as steam room and sauna. I had placed one star, however after re thinking is not the clubs fault, I understand there's a higher organization and the flow of people well good for you the for coming. I really like this place, I moved from EOS because it seems better and I was willing to pay more than 3 times the rate to get a good workout. I understand no 24 hours anymore, but in the mornings 4 am is ridiculous to see a-lot of people, specially people that just sits there almost asleep, if you can't wake up than don't come but still crowed the place, but at least they are trying management should close earlier and open earlier would make more sense to accommodate the extra people read more

This is the best Gym in Arizona. It's a really large facility with everything possible you can imagine as far as amenities and perks for membership. Only the best equipment and upkeep I have found here. Now you do definitely pay for it. The membership is expensive but if you are immersed in athletics or are into bodybuilding/serious fitness then this is your gym. There is a wide variety of classes, cafes, pools a hot tub and spa, daycare, summer camp you name it. And the staff has always been incredible they only hire the best possible employees to work here. My family used this gym for years and we are very grateful for the service we received and overall amazing experience at this gym. Also if you have kids that need something to do in the summer? I am a bit shocked by some of the negative reviews. At this particular Life Time Fitness, I have never had any major issues. My 4 year old loves the Kids academy. They have an indoor/outdoor playground, a place for the kids to watch movies, do arts and crafts, and in the back there is a mini gym! The pools make the membership completely worth the price in my opinion. Both pools have slides that lead into the pool, but at this particular LT I've never seen the indoor slide running. It's such a great place to hang out at and relax. You can order food and make a day out of being here. The gym is great, especially in regards to social distancing. Currently, every other cardio machine is unusable in order to space everyone out. I can't imagine other gyms doing that and still have the ability for every member to use the machine they want. There is never a shortage of cardio machines! The weight lifting side is fine but I really haven't seen the staff clean much of anything here. It seems like right now it's really up to the members to ensure we sanitize our own stuff. The current hand sanitizer they're using is pungent and quite frankly gross, but overall my family loves this gym. I believe the price of the gym is reasonable for all the amenities provided. read more

From the minute you open the front door, this place is amazing. The aquatics area is fantastic, with steam rooms, saunas, a lap pool, and leisure pools inside and out. Then there is the workout area with many different managed programs pickle ball, etc and machines to meet every need or requirement for therapy. It's a great workout with everything you need.
