I would say the ratings are pretty accurate. I gave a 4 because we had a good time and a decent experience. Everything is pricey these days and this is no exception. It was my bfs work party so we got to enjoy a lot of things. We did the ropes as adults in their 30s and it was a lot of fun! Weight limit is 300lb so adults really can join. Even tho it was spooky fun at times, I felt safe. Wear well fitting, grip shoes and tie up the hair lol. Go karts were a lot of fun too. Can go very fast so that's cool. Of course experience can be altered with reckless people/kids if they bump into you too much. If you're wearing sandals they'll have you change in to some of their slip on shoes (ew?) I wish they could cool down the waiting area a bit more. Laser tag was fun. Loved the air conditioning lol. We got 6 min and it felt like an okay amount of time. A lot of space to move around and walls Arcade is smaller. But there's some really good games. About 5$/16 credits I played 3 games. Good air conditioning We skipped the outdoor mini golf, too hot, and it's not a done up mini golf, just simple. We ate the pizza and pasta. The vege supreme and pasta lacked flavor. The pepperoni was good. We had 1/2 rack pork ribs. YUM. Juicy, tender, full of flavor. Good amount of meat. The sauces you can add yourself are tasty. Really enjoyed that. Strawberry gelato was okay. The ice cream salted caramel was yummy. The waffle cone was okay. It was a Saturday 12-4pm, outside 101. And very low crowd. Plenty of seating. About a month ago, I signed my kids up for the Surf Experience at Pecan Lake and made reservations for 11:00 AM. When we arrived, we found out the park didn't actually open until 12:00 PM, even though the reservation system allowed us to book an 11:00 AM time. Thankfully, the manager, Jaxson, felt terrible that the kids had to wait and went above and beyond to make the situation better. He gave them arcade cards so they could play for the hour until the park opened. The kids had a great time, and it really helped turn what could have been a frustrating situation into a positive experience. I want to give Jaxson a special shout-out for his excellent customer service. The scheduling issue wasn't his fault, but he took responsibility for making sure our kids were taken care of and had a good experience. That kind of customer service deserves to be recognized! Stopped by to check out the place for a birthday party. There were signs at golf course for no photos allowed, so I didnt take any. There is lots to do here for kids and adults from learning to surf, golf, go karts, arcarde, to laser tag and gel blasters. There are plently of places to eat here as well from bbq, pizza, gelato, and an ice cream shop with a candy wall. This is a new place in the Queen Creek, Arizona area. Great place for a date, hanging with friends, or a wholesome family outing. Everyone is professional and friendly, and there's plenty to do. There's laser tag, arcade games, go carts, a massive outdoor Zipline, food, and plenty of seating outdoors with fire pits. The aesthetic is casual and comfortable, but not cheap looking. The prices for things are kind of on par with other places like Main Event, Fiddlesticks, and etc. with a few different offerings and conveniences. It's literally right next to Fat Cats cinema which is another plus for convenience pending your itinerary. We had a great time here! We are from Chicago so it was nice to enjoy some time in the sun (in December) while the kids did the ropes course. It was also nice that they were on the course for an hour and not having to get off and reattach each time. They also had a go cart area but it seemed too intense for our age group of kids (8-12)! After ropes we headed over to the darts which was perfect for everyone (ages 8-70). The only con to the place was there wasn't many options for vegetarians. Either salad from the bbq place or cheese pizza. And the ice cream place only had like 3 flavors. But overall this place was a dream for kids and adults. The kids were able to do the ropes course while we sat back, had a beer and got some vitamin D. We will set head back next time we visit! read more

Pecan Lake is a great family entertainment spot in Queen Creek. You can buy individual tickets for mini golf, go karts, the ropes course, etc. There are many activities to choose from. We've done the mini golf numerous times and it's a very nice course with many holes. They have options for food/drinks as well, including pizza, soda rush, and probably the most popular, Caldwell County BBQ. If you're planning to get BBQ, you may need to give yourself time since they get pretty busy. Overall, worth the visit if you're in the area and looking for activities that would be conducive for many people & different ages. I was invited to a meet-up group event here. We did the tiny gardens first, then ate at the bbq restaurant, then came to the arcade. While walking to the arcade, I was getting SUPER excited looking at the cool obstacle course in the air! This place made me want to do so much!! It also looks like they're building a FlowRider (the surf water thing) at the park. I could be wrong, but that's what I assumed. The arcade area was so much fun! We only ran into 1 of the games being messed up, but we still played it like 20 times, and it's only because the basketballs were stuck (basketball connect 4). But they definitely made it up to us by giving us all 100 credits each! All the shooting games and everything was a lot of fun! They have some VR games as well! They also have a poop game... gotta throw the poop in the toilet lol We got hooked on the crane game! I think I won like 8 prizes on it! It was very fun! I really love pecan lake, however their management, or whoever the lady in a plain sweatshirt is, needs a serious revamp and class on customer service. We went with our teens and their friends to eat at Caldwells before their dance. Our kids were taking pictures near the olive grove. These kids are 15-17 years old and one of them brought his new camera for his film class to try out and take pictures of the group. Some random guy came over and we weren't allowed there it was for guests only....I'm sorry what guests??? There's no sign that said it was off limits near the pond. Then this short lady with a terrible tan walked back and forth glaring at us while whispering in her phone. I asked her what the problem was and she said we can't take any professional photos there. She said we can't take get a photo pass, but we can't get a photo pass because of a wedding. I said "they're not professionals they're teens take pictures of themselves before their dance." She said "it looks professional" So I looked around to make sure I didn't miss any signs that says we were breaking rules. There is not ONE sign that said it was off limits or no photography. I get you have rules but maybe JUST maybe you can be a kind adult and come up and say "hey not sure what's going on, how can we help you? Just an fyi we have rules about photography" instead of acting childish and walking back and forth whispering on your phone and glaring at us. And another suggestion....maybe put up signs about photography if you're so darn picky about it. When I asked if we can take pics with our phones she said no. What the heck??? So I can't take pictures of my kids with my phone? Ridiculous. Pecan lake is great minus the customer service and management. Either get new people or bring in a trainer to teach these people how to talk to guests. We love Pecan Lakes! The BBQ is delicious. They now have birria tacos. They have fountain drinks or a bar you can go to after or before you order. Which is nice. Never seems to be a line. Everyone is super pleasant. We had family in town from Arkansas and we were able to do the obstacle course, go cart and arcades. My only complaint is there are no bundled deals and it is pretty pricey. Other than that it is so much fun! We finished up our day with soda rush! Went to a hosted event here that included mini golf and a BBQ dinner. Our hosts were excellent, always making sure we had everything we needed. The mini golf is pretty basic but was still fun for everyone. The dinner we had was buffet style and included pulled pork, brisket, potato salad, mac n cheese, bread. with pickles, jalapenos, and BBQ sauce (House and gold). I had a little of everything and it was decent. The meat had a nice smoke ring and you could definitely taste the smoked flavor in each bite. I liked both sauces with the meat and the potato salad was my favorite of the two sides. We ended our outing with a scoop of ice cream from the creamery. I tried the "blue goggles" which is mint ice cream with chocolate covered honeycomb and cookie dough pieces. It was delicious and a nice sweet treat post BBQ. The little one had sparkle sherbert with no complaints from her. With so many different activities going on you can definitely make a fun day of adventure here. read more

Stopped in around 5p on a Friday for my daughter's 16th birthday. It wasn't busy at all and we got there at the perfect time. This place is really nice with lots to do and well kept. My daughter really enjoyed the arcade and the go karts. The staff, which are 98% teens, lacked luster. Often at times talking to their buddies before attending to guests. The soda place was terrible. They took forever to make two drinks and the drinks tasted like seltzer water. Caldwell seems like they are the glue to this place. Their food is good but it's average bbq. I did like the outdoor entertainment but boy, in the summer, on those metal chairs, yikes!! All in all, we'd come back. read more

This area is so nice and has so much for all ages. Whenever we can't agree on a dinner spot or just want to grab something light to munch on to get out of the house, we go here because there is so much room for our toddlers to run around. They have cornhole and a grassy area that is perfect for our stage of life. For older kids, they also have arcade, go carts, an obstacle course, mini golfing, escape rooms, and even some botanical gardens. There is sooo much entertainment and from my experience, hasn't ever been too busy when we've gone. I will say that you should plan to spend $$$ when you come here. Went to Pecan Lake as our friends recommended it and we were not disappointed. We unfortunately went around 9pm which means everything closed in an hour and everything was booked out for the night. That's why I'm giving 4 stars. Honestly they have a bar and a multitude of restaurants so why not keep one of them open and even turn it into a fun bar with live music and lots of adult fun after a certain time. The whole area with grass and the Jumbotron would turn into a fun bar for adults from like 11 pm to 2am. That's more money they can put back into developing the place. I know they probably designed this place for families but appealing to a different audience later at night on weekends might be a good move and I know this place would be popping. read more

I took a Young Life group off approximately 40 exchange students to Pecan Lake and I don't think we could have had a better time. The staff was super accommodating and really went the extra mile to make our night a success. The students LOVED the park (especially the roped course and the go carts)nand a number of the Japanese students who tried BBQ for the first time could not stop talking about how much they loved the food. I took my son to Pecan Lake Entertainment over spring break. We arrived late afternoon. The biz was expectedly busy. There's plenty of gravel parking, and we didn't have any issues finding a spot. Pecan Lake Entertainment is a massive entertainment center and still expanding. At the time of our visit, there was a big ropes course area, a green space with picnic tables and a large TV, putt-putt, and soon, a racetrack and water park. Inside, there was a bar, Caldwell County BBQ, Soda Rush, VR, axe throwing, an escape room, and a karaoke room. My son and I explored Caldwell County BBQ, Soda Rush, and an hour of axe throwing. Though we didn't have a reservation, we didn't have to wait long to play. Axe throwing was a blast. There were a variety of games built into it. An hour of axe throwing for two is more than enough. It was fun, but we will just do 30 minutes next time. Staff was helpful during our visit. Even though Caldwell County BBQ is great, I hope PLE adds more dining options besides dessert shops. I think PLE is a fantastic addition to Queen Creek and to the Valley in general. We look forward to returning! read more

This place was super fun!!! We saw it on IG and made plans to visit once we got to Az. We chose the escape room and the VR. The VR was so much fun!!! I would definitely go back just for that. The prices are really good also. Some of the equipment wasn't available and there were technical difficulties more than once (2x in the VR and once in the escape room) so that's why I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. There is a private karaoke, this rope obstacle course, golfing and ax throwing, but we didn't participate with that. We also had about a 12 minute delay before we could start the escape room and there was a lack of communication and we had to ask questions about the time in order to find out what was happening. I mean all in all, things happen so it's no big deal. The staff was really friendly. What I didn't see was a wipe down when we finished with the VR. I think that should be wiped down after every use. Would I go back? Yes! It's really a fun spot and outside they have the water mist for the heat!!! Very kid friendly place also read more

So I was visiting Mesa Arizona a month ago to visit some friends, they were kind enough to be our tour guides for a week, my friend told me about Pecan Lake Entertainment and he wanted to show me the place (after we had dinner one night). When we arrive at the parking lot was packed, which was very surprising to him, walking in I noticed a whole bunch of go karts, massive barbecue pits with what it looked like at least a cord of wood to cook barbecue. When you're in the parking lot, you can't help but notice this massive apparatus where you hang in the air and do an obstacle course. This place has a ton of inside and outside entertainment, a restaurant, and games for all ages. As I stated earlier, the parking lot was full, as we were walking in "no charge to walk in" we noticed an 8 x 10 card on a post that said "no guns" beyond this point, my friend who concealed carries basically said, this is Arizona and nobody's gonna care if I carry or not and walked in. To our surprise there was a rally going on and Donald Trump Junior was there! I personally have never been to a rally before, but I can tell you all the people at this rally were super nice and all smiles, and honestly I've never been to a place where I felt safer, what a great experience, great people and a great facility read more

3's ALL Around. It was nice, we thought it would be nicer based on the TikTok's.. we did not do the golfing. We did do the Botanical Garden first. It was cute , I don't think it was worth $10 a person. The staff lady was nice have us a little tour at the beginning and even showed us which flowers were edible. Cute photo opportunities here's and there. High schoolers were there to take prom photos so that was cute! The barbecue sliders were good on pretzel buns. But he staff at the order counter was a bit rude trying to make it seem as if we cut the line because we did not want any sides. The area was way too closed off for a room that can easily get crowded with the Virtual Reality and the Soda Rush. Not enough spacing for people to sit since it was reserved for the Axe Throwing.. At the activity counter the girl was friendly. The 10 minute escape room was hard in the end and the staff person was nice enough to give us a few more minutes. She was very nice! The soda rush sweet shop was alright. Good enough for a quick stop. This place will be a lot better when the rest of it is done. Two signs pointing different directions of entrance, one was direct and and the other was directly to the construction zone. Misleading. Could be an easy fix. The Axe throwing that claims "fun for all ages" in multiple places on their website is false. When we took our 13 & 10 year olds here for spring break, we were turned away due to age restrictions. Must be 12 & up. Needless to say that we had to pacify heart broken kids with other activities while there. We had hoped that the axe throwing would be the main event of our trip. Pecan Lake has a lot of kinks to work out. It's apparent that it's brand new. A lot of the grounds are unfinished or a work in progress. The whole time we were walking around we noticed how the lines for things didn't make sense, places were crammed with people elbow to elbow, there wasn't a lot of structure, not a ton of places to sit, bathrooms were hard to get to, tables were dirty, trashes were full... things like that. And holy expensive! The rope course was some serious $$! Caldwell County BBQ however, 5/5 stars! Excellent food, service and staff!! Everything was epic. The restaurant was beautiful! Get the banana pudding! And Pecan Lake, what are you going to do when it's 115° outside and you don't have any shade structures? My wife and I went to this venue for our grandson's birthday. The place was packed so getting a parking place was a bit of a chore. Once inside, the place was utter chaos. Long lines prevailed for food, drink and attraction tickets. Attractions included a massive challenge apparatus, electric go carts (all with mega wait lines) and an indoor arcade. Our hostess was absolutely frustrated by the lack of leadership (managers) on site. Getting a few beers was an exercise in frustration. After waiting in the long line at the pizza venue to order, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes because the manager at the pizza venue decided to "peace out" for a bit. It was a cold evening and our birthday party was banished to an outdoor picnic table. While the area had propane heaters, our hostess couldn't locate a manager who had the authority to unlock them.
