I had an opportunity to visit a new local hair salon in Star across from Albertsons (New subdivision with businesses on first floor). Very welcoming the decor is modern and relaxing. This is a woman owned new business opened since July 12, 2022 with 6 stylists. I wanted to try it out as my hair was past due, my color tired and the cut dull. I saw Jennifer Estevane. She listened to what I did/didnt like and my hair goals. We reviewed some pictures and formulated a game plan to keep letting my hair grow out to a bob. She colored my hair and made my lighter highlights a bit warmer. This morning I did my hair for the first time and it was so silky, warm and easy to style. Price was reasonable. I absolutely love this place. The ladies I met today were so down to earth and made my experience wonderful. I tend to shy away from salon products and bring my own shampoo due to sensitivity to the harsh synthetic fragrance often used. I forgot my shampoo and Elizabeth and Jennifer were super helpful and understanding. Whatever Jennifer used was very gentle and made my hair look amazing with zero harsh smell lingering. I stumbled upon this adorable salon when I first moved to Star, ID in July. I immediately felt at home the second I walked through the doors. All the stylists are very welcoming and the owner Elizabeth is just the sweetest. They're all very knowledgeable and strive to make you look and feel beautiful. She's a legend and the most incredible pro at extensions. She's literally the best in the industry! Seriously. She's trained a LOT of well-known players in the luxury extension industry. She's also a native Californian political refugee, so we get along well lol. Also, no one can ever tell I have the extensions in. Elizabeth is *hands down* the BEST hairstylist I have ever met! First off, the first time she worked on my hair, I had actually called a bunch of salons last minute and she was able to squeeze me in. When I first went to her my hair was damaged and had been home dyed with blues and blacks. The quality and color that she has transformed my hair into now is amazing. I constantly get compliments on the color and how healthy my hair is. Elizabeth is great at recommending products and explaining how to use them. I have gone to hairstylists where it's so awkward or quiet the entire time my hair is worked on. That is not the case with Elizabeth. I came here a month ago for my appointment to get my hair colored, had an Oplex treatment and a cut/style. I liked the immediate results. It was beautiful but after a week or two, my hair started to fade and did not look good. Plus the product she used in my hair made my hair very crunchy for a few days. Elizabeth transformed my hair! I came in with very brassy, chunky and unnatural looking "balayage" and she was able to bring my hair back to life.
