Instead of going high with the clippers, he stayed low and left some length up above to allow for some movement of the hair. No one has cut my hair this way (to my recollection) and I was very happy with the result. The best haircut I've had in quite some time. Jason is also very nice and personable and keeps the conversation going. Since we're new to Star, my wife not being satisfied with the one haircut she has received since we moved, and Jason's wife Gina (they co-own the shop) also receiving great reviews, I'm referring my wife to her.

What really convinced me to try A Beautiful Reaction was when I saw that the colorists and stylists received on-going education. I believe it's always important to improve one's skills. Rather than going into detail for the sake of keeping this review on point, let's just say that I walked out of the salon with an experience that left a lot to be desired. I wrote to the owner Kelsey and expressed my dissatisfaction with the services provided and not only did she offer to make things right, but she offered to fix my hair herself. It really says a lot about a business when the owner is not only open to criticism but accepts responsibility. What a night and day experience I had this time. Then when another hairstylist was available after she completed my son's hair they called another person. I mentioned I was skipped over twice and the response was "okay" with attitude and disgust that I would even have a complaint. I will not come here ever again . even the screen that has the names and times wasn't plugged in so there was no way of tracking where in line I was . Maybe next time when a customer doesn't understand the line protocol you would take time to explain instead of argue and try to embarrass someone in a store filled with people.
