This coffee shop stood out because it was one of the only ones in downtown Lake Geneva that is independently owned. I love its mission. There seems to be a high value in education for adults who are differently abled. I loved the seating area. It looked like there were conference spaces to use too if you had wanted to come work with a group there. There were many options for drinks. I ordered a latte with vanilla syrup, which ended up being a little too sweet, but I think that was more personal preference than anything else. They also have alternative milks. They sell coffee beans that are roasted locally, so that's a plus too! read more

What an excellent addition to a community! I wish there was something like this for every community - a training program for people with disabilities. Plus the coffee drinks were excellent. arrived in lake geneva and was walking around and in need of a much needed caffeine pick me up. My boyfriend and I saw this coffee shop and walked in ( it was around closing time). Super clean! We placed an ordered for a caramel macchiato with almond milk. While I was waiting I overheard a women ( I am guessing a manager ) doing a phone interview and I listened to a glimpse of what she described to be a coffee shop hiring adults with disabilities. She went over their mission and said she trains them in the position as well as life skills etc. I was beyond touched with the concept of this coffee shop. Aside from the beautiful mission and the great work they do the coffee was phenomenal. It tasted like actually espresso not just caramel syrups. the foam on top was a perfection of clouds and the drink was wonderfully balanced. I will hands down be back at this coffee shop next time I return to lake geneva. read more

Cutest coffee shop ever!! I love this place so much, both times that I've visited Lake Geneva I've had to stop here, the food is very tasty, drinks are refreshing and the baristas are so sweet! I ordered the croissant which was very flaky and delicious, the watermelon cucumber lemonade is also so refreshing and yummy! It was $12 for one coffee, one croissant, and one refresher, no bad!! This place is just fantastic! We came in multiple times a day during our vacation in Lake Geneva. First of all, it's not the big S coffee shop, so I already like it. It's just up the street. "Inspired is a premium coffee shop, a neighborhood place, located in downtown Lake Geneva, Wisconsin employing people with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities where they are celebrated, job trained, coached and, over time, placed into a fully integrated work setting." I love that this establishment is doing something with a purpose. The staff was amazingly friendly and polite. Now the drinks... The caramel macchiato was properly made, the mocha latte was balanced. The London Fog was heavenly, the perfect proportion of tea to steamed milk. The Strawberry Acai Refresher was a favorite as well, being 90+ degrees outside, an iced noncarbonated fruit drink that was not as painfully sweet as some that I've tried. The Watermelon Cucumber Refresher was also good; however, its flavors were a little less subtle. The prices were on par with the national chains. If you need a little pick me up, please stop in, you will so happy that you did. read more

We actually got kicked out of a coffee shop down the street because they closed at 3 and we didn't realize it. We looked this place up and saw on their website they were open until 6 on Sunday. So we came here, got settled in again to do schoolwork and, thank goodness I hadn't started my timed quiz because one of the baristas came around at 4 and said they were closing! We're like your website says 6 and she smiled and said, we close at 6 every other day. We just double checked and - Inspired, please make sure to update your website times please because you so say you close at 6! This place is amazing. Not only is their iced tea so refreshing and delicious (I tried a sample of peach iced tea from a very friendly young woman working there), but they are also committed to making a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. Having a sister who has special needs, it means the world to me to see such a wonderful company that offers job training and independence to individuals who, unfortunately, are often underestimated and not given this simple opportunity in life. I encountered 3 people who have special needs working there, who were so friendly, kind, welcoming and professional. The other employees who were there in case any assistance was needed were SO special and sweet. I got a soft cute T-shirt and a bumper sticker. Thanks so much for all you are doing, inspired!
