I bought a 65" television and wanted to mount it on a brick wall in my house. Foolishly, I believed that buying a masonry drill bit for the Black & Decker drill I purchased with surplus airline miles would be all I would need. I was wrong and made a small mess of my brick wall. I reached out to The TV Mounting Co. in desperation. I talked to Ric and he assured me that they could do the job right. Ric asked me about the bracket I purchased to mount the television and explained to me that it wasn't the best solution for mounting on a brick wall because the model I had was not self leveling, a desirable feature for mounting on uneven surfaces. Instead of sending me on a wild goose chase for a product I was unfamiliar with, Ric assured me he had one at a good price (actually less than I paid for the mount I purchased without the self leveling feature). Ric was able to find me an appointment for 9:30 AM less than 48 from when I called him. He and Jesse pulled up in front of my house at 9:28 AM. Before they entered my house they put on shoe covers which I appreciated. They looked at brick wall and television and immediately got to work. I expected the job to take about 90 minutes but they were done in about a half hour. The work was clean and precise. They leveled and centered the television on the wall. Ric showed me how to turn on the television while Jesse wiped down the screen to remove any smudges. They were out of the door by 10:15 AM and ended up charging me 15% below their original quote. I cannot say enough good things about how amazing this experience was from start to finish. Both Ric and Jesse were friendly, polite and hardworking. Their work was efficient and and clean. If you need a television mounted on your wall you will not find a better company to do the work. I wish there was a way I could give them more than 5 stars because they deserve it. read more

There's been a rash of burglaries that have been plaguing my neighborhood recently. I don't know if it's nomadic hippies trying to pay for their next batch of the sticky-icky or the local youths breaking in to houses in order to fund their strawberry milkshake addictions. Rick setup a 4 channel HD camera system that records 1 terabyte (about 2 1/2 weeks) of video that can be viewed on my iPhone and computer. I can view video of any unsavory characters trying to shimmy through the bedroom windows or wayward youth trying to setup illegal ditching parties in my backyard. This system allows me to view all 4 cameras or individually select a camera and zoom in. Oh what a comfort it is to be able to view live video of my place from work or to be able to look at past recordings to see which one of my neighbors felines is leaving presents for us to uncover. Process for setting up appointment was very quick and easy. Even with the covid-19 situation, The TV Mounting Co made the whole process safe, efficient, and affordable! Wanted to get my tv mounted ASAP and they fit me in, in the same week... even better Rick texted me later in the day letting me know there was a cancelation and was able to fit me in to do the wall mount install NEXT DAY!!!!! There was one hiccup obstacle- the studs in my wall weren't complying with centering and the wall mount that I had purchased was not going to work... Very nice guys and was able to put up the mount that I purchased separately. Prompt to reply and schedule time. Price was same as competitors but more expensive if you consider the overall value they bring. Rick didn't ask about my mount before coming to my place but once he saw it he immediately suggested I use his because he viewed my mount as inferior. I asked if they installed one before and initially said yes but once they couldn't sell me theirs it became obvious it was their first time and admitted as such. They figured out the mount install but only after I jumped in to help a bit. I was left not satisfied wIth their experience and professionalism but the TV is up. He knew where the stud was but still managed to miss it with his first drill. They did very little measuring. He put in a lot of his own bias during the install with how complicated the mount that I didn't agree with. If you need a mounting and don't care about the mount, these guys can do a quick and good job. I personally recommend finding guys who's worked on many more different installs before and were professional in the process. read more
