Blueray (Sam) came by and found that a broken wire (thanks Huskies) was all that was causing the issue and the unit was just fine. Came by the next morning and quickly diagnosed that the issue was that my Nest thermostat that was previously installed wasn't compatible with my existing wiring. They then went out and bought a compatible thermostat, came back and installed. They also mentioned that there was a small leak in the refrigerant line and could try to patch and fill if I wanted or I could always have them come back in the future. I asked them to just finish the job if they could, and they actually came back in a couple hours to finish the job. Now the AC unit is working great - the place feels like an ice box! After the repair, both outdoor control panels were left open and unsecured for months, exposing the electrical components to the weather. Recently, both systems failed. I hired two independent HVAC companies for separate diagnoses. Both found significant dust and corrosion throughout the control boards and documented their findings with photos. I have repeatedly contacted Eco Air by phone and email, but they have not responded or accepted responsibility. I have now had to pay multiple diagnostic fees and face substantial repair costs. I will be pursuing legal remedies to recover my damages. I am sharing my experience so other homeowners can make an informed decision.
