They still accepted my gift card and thankfully so as I decided to go for some relaxation and skin preparation for my wedding. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and relaxing. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind and answered any questions I had about anything. She was super sweet! She literally walked me backed explaining their process because it was my first time being there. Everything was clean and clozy and they have a waiting room outside the immaculate bathroom with multiple, private showers and very homey-feeling restrooms (it's a whole room with a door that fully closes - no stalls or anything of that nature) and even little benches in the bathroom so you can rest your belongings there. After changing into my luxurious soft robe and slippers (think croc material, good for cleaning) I waited in the relaxation room before being individually called by my esthetician/therapist. She walked me to my individual room, complete with a sink, massage table, another bench, plenty of hooks and closets for their supplies so they do not leave throughout the treatment, except to get you a glass of water at the end . She explained everything to me and inquired about my routine and skin type and kept politely checking to make sure I was comfortable throughout the experience. My therapist was Jada Lynne and although I selected "any therapist", I was very happy with her approach, kindness and informative knowledge that I will definitely select her on purpose next time. From the facial to the lower legs and feet treatment PLUSH arm and hand massage I felt EXTREMELY relaxed as I lead a busy lifestyle and that is sometimes hard for me, I was very thankful for the good vibes and peace she radiated. As she led me back to the relaxation room after the Tranquilty Signature Facial I felt so relaxed and honestly a little disoriented in a good way. I rarely treat myself to anything and this was just that, a real treat. I sat for a few minutes, drinking water and tea while soaking up the relaxation and did not feel rushed at all, by anyone at any time. Everyone was so nice and they have a beautiful selection of merchandise/skin care/natural little odds and ends in their lobby as well. We then sat in the tavern and had two well made drinks, my wife loves a good French Martini and they made an excellent one. They the called us to the upstairs dinning room and sat us by the window overlooking the path down through the open space towards the Spa. The sun was setting at the tree tops. We decided to try the 4 course dinner instead of the 3 because all the dishes sounded so good we didn't want to skip any. Anthony took care of us but there were also others making sure we had everything we needed. I added pictures for each. The bread was fresh and tasty, shrimp cocktail and a whole radish with a nice dip, the salad was great with watermelon and plums, the game bird (can't remember the name) was perfectly cooked with fresh figs, the pasta starters were fantastic one with red sauce and sausage the other with a pesto sauce with pine nuts -yum. The main was a filet mignon perfectly cooked medium rare with creamy mashed potatoes and a delicious sauce. Finally the desserts were great, 1 chocolate mousse and one cheese plate. We splurged for our 31st wedding anniversary. It's that kind of place. What a special night.

I was worried that this wouldn't be relaxing, or it would even hurt. Let me first say that they put you in a sauna for as long as you can stand, and then a wet sauna. Next you go into the room face up, and the scrubbing starts. Well, it is not as relaxing as a massage, by any means There is much satisfaction in the results. I left with glowy soft skin feeling wonderful! The spa offers an option where you can purchase a membership and the services are cheaper. I will definitely become a frequent flyer! I spent $132.00 for it. I then called to schedule our couples massage and the owner/employee said "You can't use your Groupon for the weekend" and I kindly explained that this is the day of my anniversary. I then even offered to bring in the coupon and pay the remainer (full price) in cash. For a brief moment I thought she agreed to this but I was mistaken. She started throwing out dates in June ... and July .. for me to come in to use the coupon. I then said " I genuinely am just looking to schedule a massage. I don't want any trouble" because I could sense this was spinning and spiraling. She again stated the "coupon is for the weekdays only". I hung up and tried to cancel my Groupon order. I was able to cancel the order, but now I'm stuck with 'Groupon bucks' instead of getting a refund to my card. What an AWFUL 30 minutes. This was so unnecessary and I'm not going to use Groupon again. You know why? These business owners are resentful and angry at customers who buy them. If you don't want to provide the same level of service to a customer buying Groupon, then DONT CONTRACT with them.
