A friend referred me to Dr. Aaron back in 2012 when I was having some severe issues with my cervical spine. From the first visit, I dubbed him a magician. I am feeling so disappointed and frustrated by the lack of response I'm getting from this practice with regards to my billing. It has now been months of my calling/emailing to ask for an invoice of payments I've made to date (in order for me to try and figure out if insurance will pay for all my visits which I paid out of pocket), and I have had zero response. I keep being assured over the phone by the staff that their accounts team will work on it, but nothing has come of it. I've been requesting this info since September and it's now December. I had good sessions with Dr. Aaron but unfortunately the billing practices/lack of clear transparency over why I can't get access to my invoices makes me question the way the office works as a whole which is a shame. read more

I found this place through a friend after yet another skateboarding injury. I went in and found a warm and calm atmosphere. Dr. Rossell and Karfinger are masters in their field. Being active and athletic themselves, they get what it means to be slowed down and unable to get back into the activities that make life worth living! Dr. Rossell is fantastic with figuring out problems with extremities, legs, knees, ankles, elbows etc...He is the best I've found and I have seen many D.C.'s over the years from all manner of board sport and mtn biking slams. He always puts me back together again. Dr. Karpfinger is also very skilled and has a heart of gold. She is a gifted healer and highly sensitive to how her patients are feeling emotionally. I always come away feeling calm and relaxed after her manipulations. The technique these Dr's use is gentle. This isn't your old fashioned crack and pop ya spine kinda thing. They mostly use a gentle manipulations while you lie down on a table. I don't know how it works but it does! If you need a problem figured out, do yourself a favor and see these folks. read more

I completely destroyed my left ankle about a year and a half ago. I play soccer, ultimate frisbee and softball, and have historically rolled my ankles quite often. This was a bad one... severe strain... my whole lower leg was the size of my calf and completely purple... I didn't think I would be running for months... Dr. Rossell adjusted me twice and gave me some stretches to do... literally two weeks later I was running and jumping again. Dr. Rossell and Dr. Karpfinger do a fantastic job, and I've been seeing them ever since! I no longer have back pains from a long day of walking around... I had chiropractic many years ago in south Florida and while it did what I wanted it to do for my back and shoulders (at the time), each and every time I went, the cracking unnerved me. So once my issues were addressed, I stopped going. Fast forward and I moved to northern Cali.over a year ago. I found my new job to be very physical...much moreso than I'd expected it to be. Combine that with recently being rear-ended on a drive home from work plus the stresses of a huge move across the country, my body was crying out for help. And Dr. Aaron came to my rescue!!!! Besides the type of chiropractic that everyone thinks of, that 'cracks' your spine....there is 'this'....(trumpet please!) Network Chiropractic. Network Chiropractic. No cracking. No crackling. No hard jerking around. Lots of no's there so let me explain what it IS..... Network Chiropractic is gentle and does exactly the same positive job as the chiropractic that everyone automatically thinks of when they think about getting their spine adjusted. The intention is that your provider, like 'my' Dr. Aaron, manipulates and adjusts your spine in order to help your body to heal itself. At least that's my understanding of it. While it took me a few visits to relax, I think I kept waiting for the cracking and......there wasn't any!! Dr. Aaron is gentle, so gentle as to almost not know he's treating your spine to a little 'treat'. ICOR, and Dr. Aaron, is located in a busy and cute little Piedmont area. The building has its own parking lot but since it's shared with all the businesses in the building, sometimes it's necessary to park on the street. There is metered parking on Piedmont Avenue and free parking on some of the side streets. If there is a downside, this is it. The only downside. Dr. Aaron's office has several 'private' rooms for treatments and a large communal room as well. The 'private' rooms each have 3/4 high walls so privacy is limited. Personally, outside of updating my info or how I'm feeling with him, I usually fall asleep for a part of my time there. Do I recommend Dr. Aaron? You bet I do!!! i'm sorry (and pleased) to be writing yet another incredible review, but i can't lie. Dr. Aaron really and truly changed my life. after giving birth to my 5-yr-old my lower back went out. (when i say "went out", i meant that occasionally i could barely make it up/down stairs, getting out of bed took a decent amount of time, and lifting anything over 5lbs was almost impossible. the first time it went out, i was literally stuck in bed for two days and it was a full 3 weeks before i was mostly recovered.) my back wasn't always bad, but it was never completely free of pain. 2 1/2 yrs later, i decided i wanted to be pregnant again but knew i couldn't do it with a bad back. my midwives suggested Integrative Chiropractic. i went in for my first consultation and that night i slept and woke up with no back pain--none--for the FIRST TIME in 2 1/2 yrs. needless to say, i was sold. then i was sold a second time (at my next consultation, actually). 18 yrs prior i had an accident where all of the tendons in my right arm were severed. reconstructive surgery left me with a very useful arm that i am grateful to have, yet there were some things that i was unable to do with my fingers. i didn't have full range of motion (which was really okay). Dr. Aaron adjusted my arm during that 2nd consultation, and all of a sudden (in the truest sense) i was able to move my middle and ring fingers in a way i hadn't in 18 yrs. it's been 2 1/2 yrs and now my whole family (my infant, 5 y.o. and partner) go to this practice regularly for preventive care (as well as when we have colds, fall on our heads, etc.). aside from the physical "miracles" these folks perform, they are very kind and loving people. they take their time, giving everyone their full-on attention and care. they take the time to explain. they work efficiently, yet never seemed rushed. they smile with their eyes. they genuinely greet their clients. the office is child-friendly. the office assistant is friendly and helpful. i could go on and on, but i will stop here, as it's clear that i highly recommend them! read more

I have been a patient at Integrative Chiropractic for about 6 or 7 years now. I started seeing them for chronic low back pain and arm numbness being caused by a compressed nerve/collapsing disc. In just a few weeks my pain was SIGNIFICANTLY reduced and I could sleep and move comfortably again. I was so impressed with Aaron & Eileen's skills and my body felt so good that I kept going, and even joined the practice as an employee for a few months. Even though I haven't worked there in almost 4 years, I still see them regularly to keep my body and overall health in check. I have been going to Dr. Aaron (and Dr. Eileen on occasion) since a few weeks after my second baby was born to address my post-partum anxiety and depression. I was sold after the first visit because I could literally breathe easier and was given some supplement suggestions that truly worked. I did not want to use prescription medication and never had to, despite my entire family and primary care physician urging me to do so. I started out going every week and now I try to make it in once a month or when a health matter presents itself to me, my husband, or our children. We have been able to avoid taking unneccesary antibiotics and our recovery time is much shorter when we come down with something. Drs Araon and Eileen have been our primary health care providers and Chiropractors for over 15 years, since my daughter was only 7. They have helped us with muscle and ligament issues as well as deeper 'non-physical' healing with tremendous results. Dr. Eileen is incredibly intuitive and seems to know 'what's wrong' when I have a hard time articulating what's wrong. They are both nurturing and focused. Having played high level sports, I have many post injury 'issues'. If you are really active, Dr. Aaron is amazing working with joints, post injuries as well as current injuries. Even after all these years I feel they just keep adding new 'tools in their back pocket' of ways they can help. For me, that is important to know a Doctor is keeping up with new technology/approaches. They are a gem in the industry. They truly listen to us and always offer a holistic approach to our health care and well being. I went to Dr. Rosselle after I was in a major bicycle accident involving a city bus. I was unable to work at the time and had little money, but because I was seeking a lawsuit Dr. Rosselle said he would work on a lien. I felt grateful for that because I badly needed care- grateful that is, until I got the full bill a year later for a total of maybe 10 sessions with him. The bill was close to $6,000. I literally cried when I read this. Not only because that is a huge chunk of money for someone with as little resources as me, my lawsuit has not yet settled and I could potentially be paying him a large portion of my settlement for what I deem as seriously limited results after his care. I believe Dr. Rosselle took advantage of my situation, took advantage of the fact that I had no other options at the time and took advantage of an opportunity to get a piece of lawsuit pie. His charges are dishonest and ludicrous- when I first went there he told me each session would be about $300, which I initially balked at anyway having experienced much, much cheaper chiropracty from reputable doctors. In reality he was charging me close to twice that for each session- sometimes twice a week. His bill states many times when I was seen for a "60 minute exam" which is a total lie- after the initial exam he only ever saw me for 15-20 minutes at a time. He would convince me that I needed massages by the extremely mediocre masseuses that worked in his office and then charge me $90 for a half-hour massage. It seems that he not only charges an exorbitant baseline fee, he also charges for each time he touches you for 10 seconds. $50-75 each time. I now know that some of those 15 minute exams cost me $500. I think this man may be a decent chiropractor but I also think he is DISHONEST and MANIPULATIVE and I do not trust him nor believe that his work is worth AT ALL what he charges. read more

Their care was great, and after not being able to turn my head, one adjustment got me back to mobility! This sounds so classically testimonial but I'm just going to say it: Drs. Aaron & Eileen changed our lives in one visit! At about 3 weeks old, our 2nd daughter became super colicky, which in our case meant that she screamed and/or projectile spit up during every waking moment. Rough on everyone, most of all our tiny sweet baby, but it's fair to say we were all just traumatized after 8 weeks of not being able to help ease her pain. Our pediatrician (who we usually love) said to just give her some antacid medicine and wait for her "colic" to go away. My yoga teacher, Cynthea Denise, suggested we try Integrative Chiropractic - she said they had worked with hundreds of babies to amazing success. We were desperate and frantic and had our new baby gulping down way too much homeopathic medicine so we figured we had nothing to lose. My husband and I came in on a Wednesday afternoon and laid out the issues to Dr. Aaron who listened carefully and then told us he could help our daughter. He started on her tummy and told us she had a hiatus hernia (stomach popped up through her diaphragm) which was causing a ton of acid reflux and pain. He said it was so common in "colicky" babies but most Western docs just treat the symptoms and don't check for this. The fix was simple - he just pushed her stomach back down. After some other gentle adjustments to her back, neck, hips and head, our daughter smiled at us without wincing for the first time. Ever. Sounds schmaltzy, right? But I'm telling you the truth. We were floored. She didn't wail for the whole ride home and then she stayed awake for another 3 hours without screaming. My husband's skeptical East Coast family was in town visiting and they couldn't believe we had brought home the same baby. It took about 6 visits to get her hernia to stay down for good and now she's the most euphoric baby we know. Our 3 year old daughter loves coming into the office and I get adjustments too now whenever I bring the girls in. Dr. Aaron adjusts the girls wherever they are - in the waiting room or in one of the other rooms or in my arms. Drs. Aaron and Eileen cultivate an easygoing, comfortable office atmosphere and move between multiple patients so there's never a feeling of being rushed through an adjustment. They are happy to answer all of my copious questions and they take a whole systems approach to health. Dr. Aaron (who we usually see b/c Dr. Eileen has been primarily on maternity leave) shows me things we can do at home to help encourage our daughters' development and to help me re-pattern my old back injuries. These folks are amazing! Their office is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and their healing is always right on. I bring my 2 year old to them anytime she has body complaints (knee hurts, bellyache, dislocated shoulder/elbow) and they always get her back on track, and leave me feeling calmed and confident that she's in good shape. They have a 2 year old themselves, so they know how to talk to the little ones and encourage them to allow the bodywork they need. Doctor Aaron has become a valued component of our medical care. He is frequently our first stop shop for care. He has been a tremendous resource to me as a mother.
