They took over a year to deliver the sessions (it should take 18 weeks for 6 sessions) I did research and when you space it out like that it basically doesn't work the same. The "Dr" is technically a Dr but made my mom feel uncomfortable on more than 1 occasion... Overall this was a BAD Expierance and if you want an actual professional I would 100% GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Very unprofessional. Bought their Groupon offer to wait 2 months for an appointment, a few days before the appointment got a call that they had to cancel the appointment because their laser machine was broken. Waited about 1.5 months of not being called back. Had to touch bases myself to be told they still don't know when it will be fixed. I noticed how thin and slow the hair grew back and it has helped my daughters acne scars as well. In reading reviews on here, I saw that several people complained about them not answering phones nor calling back after leaving voicemails . Okay, what don't I like about this place! NOTHING! First of all Jeannine is awesome, easy to work with, to the point, and honest. I've gone to a few other places and they give you the run around, try to up-sell you, and integrity doesn't. All my business is going to them! I went in for a service and was out 20 minutes later. I was SCARED to death! All I had heard about plastic surgery was how much it hurt. I went to my first appointment and Dr. Shortz explained the whole procedure to me and what to expect. The day I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly nurse assistant. She gave me my perceptions for after and asked me the person I came with to please take them to a pharmacy to get them filled so I wouldn't have to wait after. She even gave him all the pharmacies around so that we had a choice to go where we prefer. How accommodating! The next phase was taking something to relax and something for pain. We went into the room where I was asked to change. She explained how to wear the undergarments that I needed to wear post procedure. The doctor came in and greeted me with the most relaxing smile ever. Ok so I lay down and they start the procedure constantly checking with me to see if I was in pain (this was on my stomach). When it came to my arms I was out! Yes I fell asleep! They woke me up helped me get dressed, brought my friend in and we relaxed in the other room about 30 minutes to which I was being checked on. This was a Friday, the next Tuesday I was back to work! I've had many surgeries and I am a huge baby.... This was the best decision I have ever made for me. At my first follow up appointment the doctor sat down with me and we just talked. We talked about how I was feeling what to expect in the coming months and how was I doing. Afterwards he checked my surgery sites and took measurements. He asked me if I had anything else I wanted to discuss. I had all my questions answered, so he asked me to have them make another follow appointment in 6-8 weeks. I have experience with laser hair removal. I've had the procedure done on several areas with very satisfactory results. I write this review in hopes of saving you money or that you have a better experience than I did at Integrity Aesthetics, MD. My experiences at other laser hair removal locations are as follows: First session- I only saw the difference of a few days in which hair growth started returning. Second session- I noticed hair not returning for at least a week. Third session- hair takes about 2 weeks to return. Fourth session- hair takes about 3 weeks to return, but you still have those stubborn hairs appearing here and there that need to be shaved off. Fifth session- looking really good by now. Only shave before going in for another session. Sixth session and beyond- it's like maintenance at this point. At Integrity Aesthetics, none of this happened (purchase two packages of 6 sessions each). There was literally no change at all until the 5th/6th sessions in which I noticed a slight difference in hair growth (only by a few days). Each time I went in for a session, I commented to both Dr. Shortz and Jeanine that nothing was happening. Dr. Shortz would tell me to wait, but then, started informing me of pricing for future sessions because I needed more. Why would I want to pay for more when it hadn't worked? He then offered to refund, but on my last session, there was no mention of a refund except that I could have another session at no charge. At a previous consultation (another location), I was informed that although my hair is dark, it was extremely fuzzy/thin; therefore, laser would not work. Dr. Shortz, however, assured me that his Palomar Icon would work. The consultation with Dr Shortz didn't feel like a consultation. He went directly to doing laser even though the area had not been shaved. IMPORTANT- Know that laser on your face can cause severe acne. It appeared all over my neck. A place where I had never had gotten acne before. Also, know that the laser can burn you. I was burned by Dr. Shortz, and it left marks. RECOMMENDATION- If you do decide to go here, do not buy a second package until you see the final results of your first package. On your "consultation," do not let the Dr. Shortz do laser on you until you have shaved first. The laser will only burn the hair above and not hit the root directly rendering the first session worthless. Overall, I agree with Caitlin B. and Kim J. Laser hair removal at Integrity did not work. I lost money, gained scars through temporary acne and burns, and lost precious time that I will never get back. Oh..... and also know that all these recent positive reviews on here are because Jeanine offers a decent discount if a customer gives them a 5 star review on the spot. After waiting another five weeks for an appointment, I was greeted by the receptionist who told me her life story and introduced me to the esthetician who mentioned something about still needing to fill out her W2's to legally work there. Being in a rush to just get my procedure done, I went through with the appointment and then scheduled my second visit for five weeks later. A couple of days before this second appointment, the receptionist called me saying the laser was broken again and that she'd call just as soon as they had a replacement. Okay so the initial booking took a voicemail (they called me back after a few hours). But now the follow-up bookings get done at the office (right before treatment) and the experience has been flawless. More importantly, they're WAY better than Laseraway. Laseraway does very weak treatments to try to force you to purchase the rest of their expensive package. The treatment is also very soothing. They put cold ice and oil over the area and it's very fast and almost pleasant, minus the tiny pinpricks as the hairs die. read more

I don't understand how everyone says the front desk person was so professional because I had such a bad experience with her. I purchased my Groupon about a month ago. From the very next day I tried making an appointment. I called no one answered, I left a voicemail no one got back to me. I called the next week, no one answered or got back to me. I still didn't think anything of it. I kept calling trying to make an appointment for the next weeks. I started getting frustrated. On one day I called 4 Times trying to make an appointment and left voicemails and still nothing. Called again the next day 3 times. I stated thinking they're not answering because they some how knew I had a Groupon. I decided I'm going to call off a different number, I called off the different number once and they answered. I was in disbelief but I was just so happy I could finally make my appointment. At first the lady was nice and I told her I want to make an appointment the first thing she asked was how I heard of this place I said Groupon, she asked if I had already purchased my Groupon and I said yes. Her mood instantly changed. She said they wouldn't have an opening until March 16 because they are fully booked. I was so shocked so I asked " wow really no appointments until that far in advance" and in the snarkiest attitude she said "uhh yeah cause we're fully booked". Keep In my mind my Groupon expires before that. I believe this was all planned. They didn't want to honor Groupons. And that lady should really get an attitude check. Overall I have been quite happy with my experience at Integrity Aesthetics. I purchased the groupon for 6 treatments on my lower legs and have had 3 sessions so far. Dr. Shortz has been very professional, they've never tried to up-sell me on additional services like I've read about many other laser hair removal locations doing, and I'm already seeing results. One downside, however, is that they are understaffed so you have to wait quite a while until your next appointment. I believe they are in the process of hiring so this issue may not persist much longer, but you should be aware in case you are purchasing a groupon and need to start using by a certain date. read more

I tend to get dark spots where there is a lot of abrasion so I hated shaving because I was always left with dark, unsightly under arms. My mom has gone here for laser removal of a dark spot and set me up with an appointment. They were really great about giving me all the information ahead of time and staying in contact with me.
