I on the other hand was pregnant and the weight of my precious cargo took a toll on my back and I went to see her and she's amazing! Her clinic is inside a martial arts studio but she usually do her chiro sessions after the classes, so it's quiet and calm she has a divider to keep your privacy. She's knowledgeable in her profession and she's just awesome! She's strong as hell too! She's honest, she'll tell you how long you might need a therapy for or you can just come in, as needed. Booking an appointment with her is a breeze too, for some anti-social like me. I hated phonecalls so I just shoot her a text and I'm in! Dr. Sue is great. She does a very quick and nearly painless adjustment. She immediately puts her patients at ease. After a few years with a specific problem that had been X-rayed multiple times and deemed "not a problem", Dr. Sue provided SO MUCH RELIEF within the first session, and we worked out a way to help prevent the issue going forward. She taught me some basic stretches to ease other problem areas as well. Dr. Sue will set your expectations appropriately for your situation and then meet them. Given that her practice shares the same space as her classes, there's a chance for overlap in scheduling- but she keeps the chiro area blocked off from the rest for privacy. Dr. Myers is wonderful at her job. I always feel so much better after she's worked on my back. She's very flexible with scheduling and can generally see you even if it's last minute. I don't care for her new location in San Leandro too much. It's a shady area next door to a liquor store and is shared with her martial arts studio. I was recently able to treat with Susan Meyers. As this was my first ever adjustment, she was professional and patient with me. Her workspace was clean. I was impressed with her ability to read my body and relieve me of the 2 weeks of stress I had been carrying around in my shoulders, neck, and upper back. This chiropractor is awesome! I started going to Dr. Sue on Saturday and am very impressed. For starters, she is much more thorough than any other of the chiropractors I have ever been to, and really takes the time to discuss your problems and possible ways to fix them. Instead of just adjusting you, she gets an in depth medical history, examines your spine and legs, and outlines a treatment plan from there. She will tell you possible techniques you can do at home to help your body, and asks your input on your adjustments. Also, she takes a lot of time with you. I've been to chiropractors where the initial appointment was 15 minutes, while Dr. Sue takes her time. She really tries to understand your ailments and help you understand what is going on with your body and what can be done to fix it. She has given me a myriad of stretches to try at home that no one else had even said anything about, and discussed with me how past medical treatments may be influencing my problems today.
