The nurse performed a strep test and luckily it was negative. She did notice I still had a low grade fever as well as some fluid in my ears. She sent me home to rest and saying that I will be fine to return to tomorrow. She also sent me in a medicine for my severe throat pain. They waited with me at Surepoint while Presbyterian got an operating room ready for me. They kept me talking and laughing, even though I was drugged up and in a considerable amount of pain. It shows Dr. Prescott and his beautiful family and indicates Dr. Prescott works at Allied Medical and sees patients there. In fact, he is the ONLY provider shown on the website. During five years as a patient at Allied, it became clear that Dr. Prescott did not see patients there, did not have an office there and never came to the clinic at all. He is not available to consult with you or have him exam you, or discuss any medications or treatment that is necessary. Staff turnover is constant at Allied. I requested my medical records which revealed that there was absolutely no oversight of the staff at Allied by Dr. Prescott, there was no record of Dr. Prescott reviewing my case, speaking with any of the nurse practitioners, approving or denying any prescriptions or any other decision-making having to do with my healthcare.
