I do not have too many experiences with Care Now and the like as they are typically more expensive…read morethan a PCP and nobody ever seems happy with their experience at one. However, I had a serious issue with my eye and was really concerned I had scratched something. Having terrible vision and being heavily dependent on my contacts (which I couldn't wear in this condition) to be able to drive or work, I knew I had no other choice on a Sunday morning. I was looking through my options at 5am and this one opened the earliest at 8am and was also the closest, so I searched their website, looking for details. I was able to do an online check in to get in line where I could choose a time or "earliest available." I received an email with a link that needed a 4 digit code from reception to complete registration. I was intending on showing up at 8am and just take my chances, but I didn't need to worry about that as Ashley tried to call me at 7:39am. I of course missed the call and couldn't return it as the system wouldn't let me through since they were still closed. However, she did call again while we were en route and explained the process and gave me a 4 digit code. I easily completed the registration in the parking lot, it was the most basic of information and then uploading the front and back photos of both my ID and insurance card. Then I walked right in at 8am where she greeted me and had me fill out a 2 page HIPPA form. I was only in the waiting room for a few minutes before the nurse, Sarah, called me back to get my vitals and takes notes on the reason for my visit. She spent an appropriate amount of time with me and repeated a few of the details before telling me that Dr. Tariq would be with me shortly. The longest I had to wait was a few minutes for the doctor to come in and again after she performed some tests on me (yay, nothing was scratched), maybe around 8 minutes or so for her to return from sending my prescription to the pharmacy. While I found her bedside manner great during the consultation, I did mention an eye ointment that had worked well for me in the past and she prescribed me some other eye drops that burned and didn't seem to work as well- well not as fast at least. I ended up being fine, but the paper work that was given to me with details/medicine instructions/similar said to return in 3 days if my condition had not improved. It had been expensive, so I considered calling and asking for the prescription to be changed, but was pretty sure they would make me return and spend more money. I have no intention of returning as it's nearly twice as much as seeing my own doctor, but I do appreciate that I have the option for a quick appointment in an emergency, including weekends. When viewed that way, I think this location is a good choice for what they are.

Some of the slowest people ever. I came in for a standard drug screen with NO ONE else in line…read morebefore me. Was waiting for 30 minutes before they gave me more paperwork to finish checking in. When I asked why it took 30 mins to get me paperwork they needed me to complete, they said they had an issue with paperwork for another patient that wasn't even in the office. Waste of time.

My family and I have had horrible experiences in Denton regarding medical providers for my child,…read moreand Your Healthcare Place was no exception. Veronica Sirls and her staff failed to report 7 of my daughter's vaccines to the Health Department (after reassuring me every visit that her staff would do this). Additionally, the clinic closed out of nowhere due to non-payment of rent with no notification to their patients. This is all after Veronica reassured my family that she's been practicing at Your Healthcare Place for 8 years and wasn't going anywhere. That lasted less than one year, and she has disappeared. We have been trying to track her down and get proof of my daughter's vaccines for the past two months. We are considering legal action.

I could not be happier for the services I have received here. Veronica Sirls is amazing and her…read morestaff are friendly and efficient. I had a recent traumatic injury requiring stitches. I was seen reasonably quick without any appointment as it was a bit of an emergency and I know I saved several hundred dollars by avoiding the ER in Denton, especially since I do not have healthcare insurance. Unlike another review I read, there is definitely no scam about this clinic. I will certainly be back for all my healthcare needs as they have earned my complete trust and I give this "Healthcare Place" my strongest endorsement and recommendation.

Horrible!! Only seen Dr Nuby once the whole 9 months my children were apart of this clinic. Also…read morebecause of missed appointment they kicked my kids out of the network. Also gave me the hassle of not wanting to give me my children's medical records. Don't waste your time. Office manager is also RUDE.

PLEASE READ BEFORE THINKING ABOUT USING DR. NUBY…read more This Review would have been zero stars but that impossible to do so. Don't know where to start. We are new patients with Nuby. My wife went with our son for the first appointment. During which, my wife had weird vibe from Dr. Nuby, and insists that I go with her on the next one to see if I get the same vibe. She stated that Dr Nuby attempted to give my son a hug, which my son thoroughly disliked. Doctors SHOULD NOT be giving kids hugs at the end of the session, especially kids that were new to him. We arrive for the second appointment with our son at 12:40 for an 1PM appointment, on a Thursday By 1:45 we are still waiting in the waiting room. The nurses doesn't seem to know what is going on. There hasn't been a patient that went back since we arrived and the waiting room got packed after us. It's absolutely ridiculous and there was no reason Dr. Nuby should be running this far behind. Also, I should add that both waiting rooms are dirty and needs a cleaning. There are two separate offices which are across the street from each other on Elm St. They tell their clients to cross Elm Street, sans crosswalk, which is a heavily used road. It is very dangerous to be crossing the road without a crosswalk. We ended up leaving just before 2PM due to another appointment that we had scheduled across town.. We were needing a script filled for my son who has been on the same medication for a over a year. We needed this script filled due to my son leaving on vacation for Christmas vacation, which is 3 weeks. My son did would not have had enough meds to get him through the vacation. The office staff stated that they would take care of it. As Friday went on, we attempted to call the office, left messages, and had zero replies. We even called the pharmacy to have them send the refill request to Dr. Nuby. Through the weekend, we were very worried that Nuby would not fill the prescription, again, for a medication that my son had been on for over a year and a half. Dr. Nuby had ALL of the previous medical records. On Monday, during business hours, after my wife said she wasnt able to reach anyone at the office, I went into the office and spoke with the office staff that stated they would have it filled. They were shocked to hear that the script had not been approved by Dr. Nuby. Raquel stated that she sent an "urgent" message to Dr. Nuby, and said that he would most definitely give us a call that day about the prescription. I wasn't shocked when Dr. Nuby failed to reach out to us on Monday. At this point, my wife called her old doctor in Kansas and told them our situation. They said that if Nuby wouldn't fill the prescription by Tuesday, that they would fill it again since our son was going out of town on Thursday. I went in again on Tuesday. The same office staff were concerned that Dr. Nuby had not returned any of our calls. One of them said she would walk me across the street and have Dr. Nuby or the office manager talk to me. I ended up having to wait in the waiting room and then one of their back offices for about 20 minutes. FINALLY, Dr. Nuby came in. There were no "hellos". No pleasant greetings. All he said was, "We need to talk." Then he proceeded to accuse my wife of screaming and yelling on the Thursday when we "left our appointment EARLY" without being seen. Mind you, we had waited over an hour and left at 2PM, our appointment was at 1PM. Then he had the audacity to state that he was in with a patient that had told him that they wanted to commit suicide ( HIPPA VIOLATION!!!), and that there was no way he was going to leave that patient to take care of us. At the end of our "conversation", which mainly consisted of Dr. Nuby accusing my wife and I of being a terrorist to his office staff, Dr. Nuby said - "Maybe its time that you find yourself another doctor. I don't need people like YOU in here." Take that for what you may...... Thank you Dr. Nuby. Thank you for allowing me to highly discourage ANYONE in the Denton Community to steer clear of your practice. Thank you for showing me that you are highly unprofessional and outright rude to your so-called clients. I would recommend that if you have a child that you truly care about, do not take them to Dr. Nuby. We will not be coming back and will be switching doctors. We should have read the reviews prior to choosing Dr. Nuby, which I highly encourage each and every one of you to do so.
