Dan at Intelligent Solutions is fantastic. He is professional, responsive and knows his stuff. Our home network/internet was a mess. I was in the process of starting a new job, which would require me to work from home, and needed to ensure that our network would be on solid ground. Wow, a second onsite technical support visit cements us as lifetime customers of Intelligent Solutions!! My wife was present this time and she is over-the-top happy about Dan's professional assistance. We Emailed Dan a list of items we desired help with. We had a very diverse list which included: - Optimizing backup procedures for a PC. - Improving performance on a MacBook Pro. - Migration from of computers, iPad and iPhones from iCloud to Google Photos. - Improving internet performance. - Devising method for audio headsets while streaming to TV. Dan arrived exactly on time and began with my wife's MacBook Pro. Dan complimented her for selecting this MacBook Pro and told her to keep it a long time as Apple no longer offers some of the hardware features. Dan rapidly identified that the Apple hard drive was dated and periodically being erratic. Dan assisted my wife ordering a new hard drive from a third party vendor. When the hard drive arrives Dan will schedule a time to install. Dan then spent 20 minutes or so assisting my wife understand software applications which had her frustrated. Then Dan assisted us transitioning all our devices and existing files to Google Photos. (This will be a great help for our upcoming trip to Spain!). As for our internet frustration Dan quickly identified the culprit as our internet provider - AT&T. Dan showed us how Cox provides much higher speed internet service than AT&T for less cost - Adios AT&T! Lastly Dan recommended we purchase Roku 3 devices for our two TVs. Roku provides ability for headphone connections (which is a great help as our TVs do not provide an audio out port, other than optic). In the past, when I have had a problem with my computer I would set about arduous and ultimately frustrating task of trying to get the laptop serviced by a repair service (usually located in some strip mall). THE BEST!!! Four years ago, I purchased my PC and hired Geek Squad to set it up and transfer my data from my old PC to the new one. BIG MISTAKE - They totally screwed everything up. Fortunately I found Dan, explained to him my needs including running my financial services business on it and he took it from there. Everything ran so smoothly as Dan configured the PC with multiple back up drives. Now 4 years later, after thousands of hours of use and having moved 500 miles away, my data drive finally was about to fail. I just emailed Dan and he responded to my query on a Saturday morning within 20 minutes. He helped me locate some critical folders that had disappeared from my computer (I swear I didn't do it!!) Ok first let me say that I've always been nervous about trusting my computer to random people-- it's my life, after all. But I have used Dan from Intelligent Solutions on numerous occasions and each time his integrity and level of experience have put me completely at ease. He provides exactly what you would expect from this company: intelligent solutions for difficult problems. One time, while in the middle of a massive work project that I had spent the past several months on, I got the dreaded "blue screen of death". Bam, just like that, I lost everything, game over. I called Intelligent Solutions and Dan immediately came to fix it. I'm not sure what all he did, but he miraculously recovered every last missing byte and restored months of my hard work that I thought was gone forever. I also had him set up a multiple monitor system on my desk that involved hooking up THREE MONITORS to my one computer and having them linked together so I could actually drag data from one screen to another. It's hard to know exactly where to start in describing how pleased we are with Dan and his expertise. A couple years ago, I got a nasty virus and tried everything I knew how - to rid my PC of it...to no avail. My Fiance` had used Dan for years. She said "You shouldn't use anyone but Dan. He's the best!" So, I contacted him; he remoted into my PC (from 1000 miles away) and fixed everything.
