    My family & I are so thankful to have found Intelliguard and to have given them our business! Between Ramena for scheduling/billing, Sarge for estimating, and Joe for installation, we were kept in constant contact throughout the entire process which genuinely made us feel like our job was a priority to them. Everyone we interacted with on their team was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Our entire alarm system was installed within 2 days of approving our estimate, and the camera installation followed within 2 weeks after that as they had to be ordered & shipped. We were not at all expecting things to get done as quickly as they were, which was a pleasant surprise given that we figured it might take a month or so before our house was secure. Specifically, Joe did an excellent job of hiding the wiring for the cameras around our home and explaining the systems/apps to us. Our house had been retrofitted with existing sensors when we bought it, and Joe/Sarge even helped us keep the costs down by checking the wiring of these sensors and reusing the ones that were in working condition. Regardless, everything that was included in our estimate was 100% worth the money that we paid for it for the quality and warranties that Intelliguard provides. We are now in the process of securing our entire HOA with Intelliguard and will be recommending them to ALL of our neighbors. Thank you again!!

    Above and beyond -- highly recommend…read more Josh promised they'd find a way to get my TV rehung and fully working again, and he absolutely delivered. I had been without a working TV for quite awhile, and Samsung was scheduled to come mid-afternoon today. I was really hoping to be able to watch the 49ers game at 5:00 PM. Josh dispatched Eric and his helper (his delightful and very capable spouse), and they stayed until after 6:30 PM on a Saturday night making sure everything was perfect. They didn't just mount the TV -- they handled all the moving parts: getting the Samsung and Xfinity remotes working correctly, restoring soundbar volume control, troubleshooting connection issues, and reconnecting my Apple TV. Eric's communication was excellent throughout the day and the whole experience was beyond my expectations. Afterward, I looked at their website and realized how many different services they offer -- and that's their edge. You're not hiring "two guys who can hang a TV." You're hiring people who actually know how to make the entire system work together. Before you go with the cheapest estimate, consider everything beyond just hanging it on the wall. This team is worth it. These are the people I'll call every time.

Our home has an older AV system installed years ago by another contractor. Over time, the system became outdated, complicated, and the contractor became harder to reach and increasingly expensive. My wife and I separated several years ago, but she still lives in the home and has always struggled with the universal remote and the setup's complexity. Recently, she called me in distress because she couldn't turn on the television in the living room. Under normal circumstances, that would be a small inconvenience. But my wife is currently battling stage-four ovarian cancer and only has a few months left. All she wanted was the simple comfort of sitting on the couch and watching TV. I called Jake and explained the situation. Without hesitation, he said he would come take a look. The next day, he and one of his technicians, Wilson, showed up and spent over an hour patiently troubleshooting the system until they got everything working again. When the work was finished, I asked what I owed him. Jake said there would be no charge given my wife's condition. I was honestly taken back. In a world where it often feels like everything is transactional, Jake chose compassion instead. This wasn't just good service, it was humanity, and I'll never forget that kindness. I previously used a big Bay Area AV/home automation company. I spent over six figures on the initial install when I was rebuilding my house, and after that, every "fix" cost thousands. They had me on a Savant system where even a simple upgrade--like adding a new Apple TV 4K--was quoted at $4,000 because I needed new video cards. I was tired of the "gatekeeping" and not being able to make simple changes myself. I hired Jake to fix the mess, and Barker Tech has been incredible. He didn't just patch things up. he completely updated my network and AV, removed the bloated Savant system, and simplified my entire home automation setup. The result? A system that is high-end, significantly more dependable and simple, I'm able to DIY some things and I don't need to worry about explaining to my wife why a simple change to the system costs more than our first car we bought. The responsiveness is what really sets them apart. I recently had a troubleshooting issue: Jake responded within 5 minutes and had it totally resolved in 15 minutes. Barker Tech feels "too good to be true" because the knowledge and attention to detail are world-class, but the prices are actually reasonable.     I was a customer with this company until switching providers in March 2025. I followed every…read morerequired step to properly cancel my services: I paid off my equipment, canceled through their third-party account lender, and my new provider even submitted a cancellation letter on my behalf. After completing all of this, I reasonably believed my account was closed. That assumption changed when I was contacted about an unpaid balance after fraud was discovered on my card. When I called to investigate, I was informed that this company had continued charging me for monitoring services the entire time--even though the equipment they were supposedly monitoring had been offline since cancellation. At no point did they contact me to question this. The first representative I spoke with, Leah or Aliyah, was helpful and confirmed that my service had been canceled and that I should be receiving a refund of over $250 . However, after being transferred to the billing department, the experience deteriorated significantly. The billing representative was rude, repeatedly cut me off, and ignored what I was saying. I have now been on hold for over an hour and forty minute waiting for this issue to be resolved. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as well as contacting a lawyer.
