They had sent someone out to the apartment over a month ago and I did not receive a report I called John and explained the potential mold I found in my bedroom on the windowsill. One roofer came out and said we needed a new roof. Two other roofers came out and said they could replace the tiles, and fortunately the previous owners left us a stockpile of tiles so they wouldn't need to order many -- or any -- tiles. Mind you, according to all of these roofers, the tiles we have are top-of-the-line, expensive freaking tiles! When Jim came out, we could tell he was the man for the job. He walked on our roof, but he knew exactly how to step on the roof to not break any of the tiles. He counted all of the broken tiles, assessed the damage, and pointed out other areas that needed some work. He was by far the most detailed roofer to inspect our roof. His solution was to repair the cracked tiles that could be repaired (approx. 25 of them had hairline fractures), and replace the other 25 tiles. We really liked the fact that he could save some of the tiles and could repair them -- so we'd still be left with extras. We decided to go with Jim because we liked his approach and felt his solution was the most beneficial. Thanks again, Jim & Everlast Roofing!

Sam, the owner is based in San Dimas, but he came all the way out to Quartz Hill to do our home inspection. Sam was quick, efficient, and courteous - super easy to get along with. As first time homebuyers, this really put us at ease on the property we were looking at. Sam took the time to have us walk the house with him, explaining each item he was looking at, and why, and what it meant if something was up to code or not. He was well versed in what items should be up to code, whether FHA or Conventional loans would dictate what, and he was extremely thorough in going through the house, documenting everything. Total time for him to check the home was about 3-3.5 hours, after which he broke down everything he thought should be repaired in his report, and mentioned we would have the report by the end of the day, even though he had to drive all the way back to San Dimas. True to his word, we were emailed his report by the end of the day, and his pricing was extremely reasonable. Sam also mentioned that he does mold / asbestos testing, and he has been in the game long enough to recognize telltale signs of both. Found this company from a Google search after finding and reporting mold to my apartment complex. They had sent someone out to the apartment over a month ago and I did not receive a report I called John and explained the potential mold I found in my bedroom on the windowsill. From the initial conversation, John gave me a verbal estimate and said he could send someone out asap. We sent up the inspection and Michael came out to the apartment to take samples to send to the lab. Thankfully, John and Michael worked efficiently and effectively.
