They told me everything would fit my needs perfectly -- but the person they sent was nothing like what was described. The aide showed up acting like I worked for her. She said my building ​ "wouldn't work" because of her sinus problems, I received what I felt like was a hostile exchange when she just first arrives first it was my building wasn't good enough and then she went in to say that she had tons of experience in the supervisor and immediately started dictating how things would be random Sunday ​, and even insisted I had to change grocery stores -- even though Grace had already approved the store I use and confirmed it with the owners. She claimed she was a supervisor and acted like I had to follow her rules, not the other way around. There was no "How can we support you?" It was "This is how it's going to be." And when I said no, the attitude turned hostile, as if I was doing something wrong for expecting basic respect in my own home. A home health aide is supposed to help me, support me, and follow my home rules when there's no safety issue. Instead, Grace Home Care left me stressed, anxious, and without services for nearly a month. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The OT and PT were equally professional, supportive, and encouraging. They arrived well-prepared and provided excellent training tailored to my needs. They demonstrated exercises and techniques clearly, patiently answered my questions, and ensured I understood how to perform the activities safely and effectively. From the outside, this place looked OK, but when you walk inside, and especially in the patient rooms, you start thinking of the word shithole. My goodness, the walls had cracks, the paint was peeling, and areas where they did paint, it was around light fixtures, over light fixtures, the beds were probably from the 80's, closet doors were broken. When my Mother-in-law got transferred here from the hospital, we were all in disbelief. My Wife started to cry, and not because of her Mom's declining health, but the fact that she was going to die in a place like this, no dignity. Her bed was so bad, that they had to put blankets under one side of her mattress, to make it level. The majority of the staff was good, friendly and helpful, but there was a couple of them, that were not very friendly and not very helpful. The first night there, my Son and I walked around, getting familiar with the facility, came across a staff member, laid out across three chairs, in the dining room, fast asleep.........really, that looked professional, and it was only 8:30 p.m. If your that tired, go home. We immediately started the process of getting her signed up, under a hospice homecare program. My Mother-in-law was out of there, within three days. This place doesn't need a make over, or a remodeling job, it needs a bulldozer. Beware.
