The staff tried to help and called maintenance but since it was Saturday and they all apparently live far away no one came. The dance floor was sectioned off. The party was still great but there was a small inconvenience from it. My friend called the offices on Tuesday to ask for her deposit back and she had no record of the leak and put the money on hold since there was an apparent "incident" the night before. This place is a rip off. They will find any little thing to keep your money but will not step up and take the blame when they are at fault for things. Being a long time El Monte person this is very disappointing.

Getting in and out is a bit of wait as Garvey is a major thoroughfare and traffic often backs up at Garvey and Rosemead. Sometime I turn on Lee Street to get around the jam. But I digressed. Back to the Center. For some reason I can't explain, I used to refer to this center as the senior center. I often see people playing table tennis, and hold yoga/dance & exercise classes here. Come on by when you are in the area. Staff at the reception counter are great resources to answer questions.

We had about 150 people at our baby shower and it was very comfortable. The staff set the table and chairs for us, while providing extra tables for desserts, food, gifts etc. Having strong AC was extremely important for us and they fulfilled that need! There was a restroom with 5 stalls per gender that was super convenient inside the room. The center also provided several large trash cans and emptied out the trash throughout the event. There are doors that open to the outside park area, where we stationed our catering vendor. This place is great and they get quite busy so I'd highly recommend booking early if you're interested!

This call was made today 6/9 at 5:30 so I don't know who is answering the phone. It was a young gentleman, but to make an assumption That I could not afford something is not for him to decide. His responsibility was to give the information that I was inquiring about at least, allow me to explain what I was looking for and what organization it was for. Not only do I run a nonprofit, I'm a property owner in Hacienda Heights, community member and I think that was so insulting. I thanked him for his service and told him I could no longer further the conversation. I said my goodbye so I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. They're not interested in helping a community if they can insult and turn someone away without even knowing who they are and what their needs are. With everything going on in the world and in our own state, we need to be respectful to our community members. The reason I reached out was before I gave my money to another business outside my community. I thought I should inquire within my community because it would be most beneficial to give back to the community I am from. Whoever this young man is, I highly recommend that he does not answer the phone or do any type of customer service. He is rude and offensive.
