I recently spent 2 hours getting pampered here for a late birthday gift. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed myself. From the first steps in the door you're ready to get your tranquility on. The staff is wonderful. They answer all of your questions and are so hospitable. Corri has done a great job with taking over this Spa. The services are fairly priced and exceptionally relaxing and therapeutic. I got a mud, scrub, rub with Kaylee. She was very professional and was helpful with being vocal about what she was doing. She has some great hands and helped get some knots out of my shoulders. She made me feel like i was the only one in the building and all her attention was on me. They have a great reception staff and merchandise to choose from when you're service is done. They also bring out all the products that they use on you during the service incase you were completely in love with one of them. Tonight was my second visit to international day spa and I have to say the customer service and staff are absolutely fantastic. What an amazing experience! We did the massage a trois package as part of our Valentine's day and I am so happy we did! It was a great learning experience! This is an excellent small spa with just the right amount of services. I've enjoyed getting deep tissue massages here since 2006. Before the new owners. Both have been great. I love their small changes and updates. Massages are worth it. Can't complain about any therapists. They have all been nice and good at what they do. Facials are great too. The hydrotherapy tub is relaxing and I love to use their Turkish steam room. I like to come at least 45 mins before my appt so I can use the steam room and rinse off before my massage, makes it even more relaxing. Um, tell me why every time I'm here I end up eating like 6 tea shortbread cookies they have in the quiet room lol :) they're so good read more

I am very disappointed in the lack of service that I have received from this spa. I made an appointment last month for a Hawaiian Holiday package and was really looking forward to a little pampering. Unfortunately, when the day arrived they called me to let me know that the therapist had called off and they would not be able to keep my appointment. Although I was very disappointed, someone called me back and offered a 20% discount. So I made another appointment for today. And what happens? They call me to tell me that the therapist was not available and they would have to cancel my appointment AGAIN. How exactly does that happen two times in a row? This type of package is something that I have been looking forward to for weeks and an apology just doesn't make up for the lack of service and totally unprofessional behavior. Maybe its time to hire a more reliable employee? Guess I will need to take my business elsewhere and I would caution anyone making an appointment that there is a high likelihood that you will not actually receive the service that you have requested. read more

Coming here was such a good decision! I had the American Turkish package and it was absolutely amazing. I have no days off because I go to school and work every single day, and I decided I needed a massage to give my body some well deserved treatment. Most of the Spas are not open late and I only have availability after 5pm and this spa was able to accommodate me. I had the pleasure of having Deija as my massage therapist and I have to say it's one of the best if not the best massages I've ever gotten. She was paying attention to my body, worked out all my trouble spots and I felt so good and refreshed. I had such a great experience, I will definitely come back. read more

International Day Spa is a staple in Redlands. I love coming here for my Facials I am always happy with the service. The owner Mimi is super sweet. I have probably had every service offered here and trust them with hot wax...hot wax!! That is real trust. They trademarked the Massage a Trois and it was a lot of fun but I'll leave that to the professionals from now on. The customer service is always above par. I am a big fan of this place! It's charming being in a refurbished Victorian home and the atmosphere is quiet, relaxing and professional. I come here frequently to get my eyebrows waxed. Danielle does a great job and leaves my brows looking fantastic! I have tried other places in a pinch or while on vacation but am never as happy with the service or the results as I am with International Day Spa. My favorite splurge at International is the Swedish American massage from Sonia. She is very skilled and knowledgeable and does an exceptional job at getting the knots out in my neck. I had a unique experience at the International Day Spa yesterday. A gift from my husband. I received a full body buff and European shower. Really not what I expected but my skin is now smooth and soft. My attendant was very nice but I can't remember her name, sorry, or I would give her praise too. The staff were very helpful and nice. If you go early for your appointment you get a free foot bath or time in the sauna room. I took the foot bath. They also serve refreshments to eat and drink before, while you wait in the quite room. Very relaxing place. I have been there several times before for other types of treatments so I am sure i will return for more. read more

Had an Amazing American Swedish massage by a very talented Daniela it was the most relaxing, yet energizing. Nice warm comfortable massage table. She worked a few knots till they were gone. I started coming here to Daniela a few months ago. I'm a hairstylist and having to stand on my feet all day and blow dry hair can really start to take its toll. So I started getting monthly deep tissue massages. I feel so much better after Daniela works out all my knots! The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is an AMAZING place!!! This place had been recommended to me by so many people and I finally went. I started with their 3 hour orange blossom spa package and what a great way to start! That was a little over a year ago and I've been going back ever since! Mo is incredible with the facials. She has a great background with skincare and is so knowledgeable. Every single staff member there is so welcoming and kind, and it's genuine. As you walk in you feel immediate peace. It's a very soothing ambiance. Try going at night because they set a fire. So while you're relaxing with your hot cider, your warm shoulder wrap and foot soak, you can stare at the flames and be engulfed in a trance of tranquility. I have been a regular at this day spa since the late 1990s. Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to have Beth for a therapeutic massage (deep tissue). I had slipped and fallen on ice last week, resulting in the back of my head and sacral area of my back striking concrete without any break to the fall. I appreciate that Beth listened to my concerns, gave a terrific massage, and gave helpful post massage advice/tips. I give her a high recommend. read more

I went here for the first time today. I really enjoyed my massage/services and I thought Takia did a great job! I'm basically a ball of stress, and she made me feel so relaxed. I never know how to tip for these types of things, and always get a bit nervous that I'm giving enough, happens at hair appointments too! The only reason I left off one star was because I had my massage in a room adjacent to their tub area and it was sectioned off by a curtain, and the tub was really loud. It didn't ruin it for me, but it was a little distracting at first, it was also a little cold, but I get it because it's a million degrees outside. I think their prices are reasonable as well, and the aromatherapy smelled great. Will be back for sure! read more

Should have reviewed this local favorite a long time ago. When I saw the erroneous negative review about the "illegal" hiring practices, I had to post disputing it. I've been getting massages and eyebrow waxing at Int'l Day Spa for years. I'm on their mailing list and once got a free massage from a student who was there to get her hours in for her license. She did a great job, as the other massage therapists do as well. The owner supports local groups, and sent coupons for free foot soaks and other discounts to my local toastmasters group when she read about us in the local paper, along with a note congratualting us on our success. The best part of going is option of a free foot soak or use of the turkish steam room. The foot soak is in the "quiet" room, is very relaxing, and you get your choice of scented oils in the foot soak water along with water, fresh local lemonade, or hot cider in the winter. I've only tried the turkish steam room once, and it was worth going back for. My friend suggested it, since I had a cold. I'm not average sized, but they had all sizes of robes available, have individual locked showers, and offered fresh ice water the entire time I was in the steam room. This place is a great local find that supports local businesses. read more

I deiced to treat my girlfriend and I to a nice relaxing massage since it was our 4 year anniversary. We did the couples massage and i found it very relaxing and a great way to learn a little about giving each other massages at home. Very quiet, the girls were all nice, my favorite part was when the girl left the room between our massages. They give you a convenient 10 min break to switch out because you are fully undressed for the massage, so i figured we should massage the personal areas since we were both in the mood. All in all i loved it. It was a nice, exciting and new experience for us. Only draw back a little pricey. And any of you guys out there might be reading this i highly recommend taking your other half here for the couples massage. Let her go first and take advantage of your 10 minute break! read more

I will admit I was skeptical about going to a smaller spa but I am SO happy I did! I got a same day appointment with Valarie and she was fantastic! The spa is clean and super cute! The quiet room and foot soak were the perfect way to begin my relaxation. I did a 60min full body and added the head ache blaster massage. If you have tight shoulders or neck aches, go with the "Headache Blaster," I felt immediate relief. Their prices are reasonable, much more so than a big chain like Massage Envy. She did a fantastic job and Mom said her skin feels amazing. I had a 30 minute deep tissue massage by Valarie. She was great and really worked on my back and neck, where I have the most tension!!! I want to love this place because it is convenient and overall a really nice place. The last time I got a massage here the girl that did my massage scratched me all up with her nails and boy was that painful and really gross if you stop and think about it. The manager did give me a free massage for my scratches. Today I went and the massage was strange to say the least. The therapist only knew a few strokes and kept taking one of her hands off constantly. I am not sure why (?) nor do I really want to know why. It was not fluid and it happened so much I could not relax. I kept waiting for the good technique and the wow but it never happened. Needless to say I got the 90 min and quickly I was wishing that I hadn't. It was awkward and it felt like a student or newbie was giving me there first massage. Yeah just like that. After these experiences I won't be back to this place because it has not been relaxing. I'm just going to drive to Palm Desert from now on and forget about convenience. So after hearing wonderful things about this place from my best friend, I decided to try this place. I scheduled a 60 minute micro dermabrasion facial and massage. I paid about $180 (including tip) for the worst massage & facial experience I've ever had. The facial was short and unpleasant and the massage was poorly done. I felt as if my esthetician was pouring lotion on my extremities & simply trying to spread it evenly on my skin. At one point, I politely asked her to change the technique, but she didn't... & I was just waiting for it to end. I will likely never visit this place again. read more
