When I went in to this spa it stunk. They were having a meeting and the whole room smelled like food. They scurried around like little bugs, hardly anyone saying hello. They required me to leave a $50 deposit when making my appointment. I know this is normal but the doctor told me nothing could be done except a $2000.00 job which they had only started 2 months ago. I was going to stop at the counter on my way out to inquire about my $50 but the Dr. who I had saw said "you can just go". I really had a bad time at this Spa, which is not! The worst experience ever!!!! My friend was raving about this new place that she found and that she really liked. I already go to Cloud 9 but this salon was having a special so I thought I would try it out - HUGE MISTAKE!!!! The RN that did my service was not experienced at all and seemed like she was new. The PA was rude as she had to come in several times to get me to sign for the work that I was doing. When it was all said and done, I saw nothing different for the $2,300 I spent there. I should have had a new face for the amount that I paid. I immediately called Cloud 9 to book the next available appointment that they had. I found out about this little gem from a friend. She went to Renaissance MD to get Botox, and since I had been thinking about Botox for a while and there was a Groupon for 40 units, I decided to try it out! I went to see Crystal, who my friend also got her treatment from. The facility is located in a quaint little blue building. The facility is very cozy, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I checked in at the front and was greeted immediately. They had no issues with honoring the Groupon and even offered me a beverage and a snack while I waited for my appointment. Crystal greeted me right away and took me back to the room. She listened to all my worries and concerns with kindness and compassion. She was extremely thorough in looking at where my frown lines were, and where the Botox treatment would look best. I didn't know what to expect, so I was fairly nervous, but she walked me through step by step what she was doing. The procedure took maybe 5-10 minutes and I couldn't be happier with the results!! Fast forward, I decided to do a consultation with Crystal for treatment on my never-disappearing acne scars. She recommended to me the Picosure laser, so that's what I did! She walked me through everything she was doing and educated me about proper aftercare (lots of sunscreen, wear a hat, etc). It's fairly expensive, but after two treatments, I see a DRAMATIC change in my scars and skin texture. The downtime is minimal, as I was only red for about 24-48 hours and there's no peeling. I am so happy with the results!l Needless to say, Crystal has become my go-to girl for all my aesthetic procedures. I recently got my lips done and was so incredibly happy with the results. I was nervous about them looking fake and unnatural, but she put just 1 syringe total for both my lips and I am in LOVE! It added so much hydration and plumpness. Just yesterday, I finally took the plunge and got cheek filler since there's a deal right now for $75 off. I did 1 ml Juvederm Voluma per each cheek. Currently it is swollen, but that will go away after a few days. Crystal numbed me up before the procedure and it went smoothly! I'm very excited to see my final results! Renaissance MD will forever be my place for all my aesthetic needs. And Crystal is who I've been seeing for all of my procedures! Even though I haven't seen anyone else, all of them have been so extremely helpful and sweet, you really couldn't go wrong with any of them! I got Botox here based on the dosage recommended by the RN, but unfortunately, it had no noticeable effect. I returned for a touch-up, only to be told I needed to pay again--even though it was clear the initial treatment didn't work at all. I essentially ended up paying twice for a single treatment that still underdelivered. It felt like a complete waste of money, and I'm disappointed by the lack of accountability and transparency. read more

I got the fire and ice laser with a chemical peel back in February and I am very very happy with the results. I had a lot of sun damage and dark spots along with freckles and this combo lightened everything up at least 2 shades and made a lot of my dark spots disappear. I don't feel so ugly without makeup on. This is the only thing I have experience with here so I can't comment on other services but this one I am happy with and hope to come back at the end of summer to do it again. My face did take a solid 2 weeks to fully peel. And on days 5-9 was the absolute ugliest where I could not hide it. I had a hat, sunglasses and a mask on when forced to be out and about so you deff need to do this when you have down time. read more

I wanted the Mariah facial, was told I needed an acne facial. What I really cared about was getting extractions, my black heads are out of control, they give my skin texture. I noticed for the extraction duration of the facial, there was not much extracting as I expected, and no steamer was used to open pores. She did a few on my forehead, some on my nose and didnt even pay attention to my cheeks and chin. Other than light in my face, no tech was used, just her hands rubbing my face. I also thought it was weird she didnt try to push the membership on me, after I told her I was looking for a regular spot for facials. When I went to pay, she told me to skip the part where I add a tip..? why would I not tip her after her services? ... because I went home and picked at my own face and took out black heads from my cheeks and even more with my Biore strips. I was extracting little white bumps, around my chin. The same white bumps she apparently didn't know what they were and was told I needed to go to a dermatologist to find out..? I was extracting my own face, wtf?? now I know why she said skip, she knew she didnt do shit but rub my face with tea tree oil. I could do that myself. I'm paying 95 for skill and tools used on my face where I cant see or get to. Tbh, not worth it at all. Total waste of 95 plus for a half assed job plus 20 tip. I was so impressed with her precision, the time she takes to listen to what you want in terms of an outcome that I have been going back to her for Botox for over a year. I also think she is an absolute artist at fillers for my lips. I have done my lips twice and love them. Elaine has also done fillers in many areas of my face with tremendous results. I purchased a Groupon for 40 units of Botox (about $300) In the fine print Renaissance MD stated you needed a credit card to book and that there is a $25 cancellation fee. That is fine, however when I called they wanted a $50 non refundable deposit. I explained that I paid for the service in full and didn't want to spend another $50. I told them they could take my credit card for a cancellation fee like most businesses, but didn't want to be charged an extra $50. The rude receptionist stated that they couldn't book an appointment unless I spent another $50. I let her know that wasn't in the fine print and there should not be hidden fees. Seems like customer service is not a top priority for Renaissance MD. I will hopefully be able to cancel my Groupon and go elsewhere. I prefer an establishment that is honest about their services and fees. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite spots in the IE. I love their cute and clean facility. I've had a little botox, chemical peel, some filler, and microneedling done here. I always love the results. The microneedling was definitely my favorite. The staff is kind and helpful, I can tell they really care. I find it incredibly unprofessional that the staff cannot give pricing over the phone. I called in inquiring on coolsculpting prices and was told I would need to come in for a consultation with their specialist so she could recommend the best course of treatment. I informed her that I've had it done before elsewhere and would just like to know pricing info as I am shopping around and am almost due for a touch up. She said she couldn't answer me.
