Wasn't too successful making dosas within such a small cooking vessel, so I ended up making dosa pancakes instead. The dosas are served on a leaf positioned in a plastic tray. The Shuk is the only Israeli grocery in Austin. I loved the grapefruit juice on sale. They have a ton of gluten free options. I bought some gluten free challah bread and Bamba snacks. Israel has the lowest rate of peanut allergies as a lot of their children grow up eating peanut Bamba snacks. I love the Dorot frozen herbs including basil because it's really convenient to add to a caprese salad. They sold out of their gluten free puff pastry to make bourekas. They didn't carry any kidney beans.

We attended a drama that was sponsored by the store (see attached photo) and the experience was horrible. The event was badly managed by Hamir (the owner) and everything about it was 3rd class under his management: - Bad venue/neighborhood - No parking facility - No auditorium - Worst seating arrangement in a stinking hall; No chairs for seat numbers and tickets sold to us. - No respect for audience's time - Show started 1 hour and 20 minutes late. - Horrible audio - dialogs were simply not audible. - Poles in hall were blocking audience's view of the stage - Nobody understood Sanjay Goradia's dialog because the actor had bad throat issues. - Tickets were overly priced and sold at 50% discount at the venue Show was not worth going to even if tickets were free. Our group of 15 people left before intermission as it was a waste of time. And we all reached the conclusion that we will avoid all events brought by Manpasand.

The staff is so courteous that if you ask for a specific item, they will personally take you to the right place and point out the item (not saying go to aisle 2 and look on your left or right). Overall, I would give them 9.5 out of 10.
