Worst customer service ever. The owner has a trouble attitude. I left message on there voicemail it said they return all calls with in 24 hours it took them 2 weeks. If you have a problem it's never there problem it's something on your end. Like there go to response your router needs updated. Don't waste your time or money with them. read more

I can't speak to the quality of their product. I can only speak to the (bad) experience of trying to become their customer. And that was awake up call: The intended service address is in Indianapolis. I am in California (with a California phone number.) I left ICI a voice message on Saturday, catching that they are only open M-F. As such, at least twice in my message, I asked for them not to call me until a certain time on Monday, that I am three hours behind them, that I am in California. I do a lot of business that way - and people in the eastern time zone seem to understand me just fine. At 6:29 am, the following Monday, I got a call. I had taken the day off from work to deal with certain issues, including some in Indy. But I did not want to wake up until 9 am, and had someone else in the house who could still sleep for hours. I had specifically said to ICI, "Don't call before noon your time." So, the first thought that ran through my just-awakened brain, was, "If you can't HEAR what a prospective client is telling you, then you suck at customer service." (I did not say that out loud, though.) As if I needed proof for that thought, "Ty," the person calling me, did not care to listen to my annoyance with the situation. First, he said that, since I am in California, then they can't help me. Remembering that in my message I told ICI that the property is in Indy, I yelled (was afraid that he would just hang up before my words left my vocal chords) a reminder that the service property is in Indy. "We can't help you," was the response Ty still gave me. When I asked why, he said that he can't deal with customers like me, with "bad (or that) attitude." I was certainly awake now - I suddenly found myself being blamed by a company for having an attitude after being awakened early in the morning by them when they were hoping to sell me a product. I tried to get Ty to explain how my attitude was not expected under the circumstances, but he hung up on me. So, I called back, and dialed the same extension as on Saturday - I still needed the same product. It was Ty again. This time with a calmer tone, at first, I was able to ask why they couldn't follow my instructions. Ty's answer explained it all: he was calling me back from their "unanswered calls list" - he hadn't heard my message before calling me. (Good thing that my original message to them did not say, "Whatever you do, do not call back the number I am calling from, or I am dead." I know, that only happens in movies. And, then, typically from the trunk of a car.) So, ok, now that we both understood the problem - and I was on the phone again, with a (slightly) better attitude - I thought, for sure, we could get down to business. However, Ty again told me, "We can't help you, sir." When I again asked why, Ty accused me of having a bad attitude and cussing. Now, my attitude could use an adjustment - and, by the way, when not awakened like today, customer service representatives typically tell me that I made their day (I am a nice and funny guy, seriously.) And I do not cuss at people on the other end of the line, or for that matter, in person. I do cuss, just not AT people, dang it. This time, Ty also explained that he was the owner of the company, and did not want his employees to deal with people like me. Now, that statement I could wrap my head around. When I told Ty that I am a business person, too, and asked whether it was not his responsibility to make sure that he kept his employees employed by getting any customer, he continued not to listen: "We can't help you, sir," was on a loop in his vocal chords. Then he hung up again. Clearly, they couldn't help me. Sadly, what could help me, Ty took away from me that day - my sleep. Tyson, sir, if you should ever read this: try listening to people. I would not want "myself" for a customer when I was expressing my annoyance with you. I get that. But you had something to do with getting me to that point. Your attitude, given that you were calling me so early in the morning - and I was telling you about that, regardless of whether you had listened to my message first, which I still did not know about - was at the very least disingenuous. I needed to vent. That happens to people in certain situations. A simple, "Sorry for calling you so early," instead of, "We can't help you with this attitude," could be a good defuser. As I was getting my head together, and mumbling about how my message had specific instructions, you should have listened, instead of telling me what you thought was wrong with me. And I called you back - you blew it again. But you are the (proud) boss, so I understand that you know better than anyone about to handle these things best for your employees' sake, like having an attitude of your own. (This is my eleventh review on this site - but first one with fewer than five stars. Thanks, Tyson, for awakening that.) read more

ICI, Internet Communications Inc., Franklin ISP - All the same and I have been with them for over a year now. I have a feeling they are growing faster than they can manage, the death blow for many companies. Initially ICI was responsive, service was good and the system was fairly reliable. Everything you want from a higher than average cost service. That was the first 6 months of 2017. Since then, service then became a bit more intermittent, they are much more susceptible to bad weather than you think, it is very difficult to call and talk to anyone, callbacks are slow or non-existent until a second call is made, and 48 hours before we can get someone there is actually: "It may be Monday before we can get someone there" Monday evening (60 business hours later) no one shows up and no update on service. Tuesday, calls not answered, left message, email "The guys will be there today" Tuesday evening, no one shows, no updates (now at 84 hours) Wednesday, calls not answered, Wednesday Afternoon, no service, follow-up call not answered, Wednesday end of work day call not answered. Switched to Wife's cellphone (different number than I had been using) and call in, call answered immediately. Scheduled was checked and was told Tech would definitely be there. Poor guy got there about 7pm and took care of issue. Since I created issue, had to pay a $25 service fee (I was aware of this). Received invoiced next morning (now that was fast). Entered into my payment system the following week for payment on the 7th (fastest process can cut a check to small business) and on the 6th receive disconnect notice. Regular $75.90 payment made, $25 was deducted from that for the service leaving $25 due on the monthly bill. I believe these guys are headed towards a failure to provide service crash by many customers. Centurylink is growing in the area and I understand why. Centurylink may not have a great reputation, but it isn't getting worse and it is considerably cheaper for the same level of service. read more

We've had this service for several months and when it worked it was good. However it started going bad and eventually failed completely. Then it got worse! We called the after-hours outage line and left a message. The next day we never received any response at all. Called again and left another message and eventually received a return phone call. We were told that the "radio" was likely bad and the next day a service technician came to our house. I thought things would be fixed but the technician's response was "The radio is not bad and I have not idea what is wrong." He then said he would talk with his boss and "...someone will be getting in contact with you." We waited another day and no one contacted us. We started calling again and leaving messages. Three days later after leaving messages on the after-hours outage line and leaving messages on the main office line, a live person actually answered the phone at 3:30pm. I was told by the owner that he still thought it was the radio and they were going to replace it but it would be two days before someone would be there to replace it. I voiced my dissatisfaction and was told he would credit us for a month of service. Which would be nice but we still did not have any service and had not had any for several days, so the credit is useless. Two days passed and no one ever showed to replace the radio. At least I assume this because we had no contact from them and the service still does not work. We called that night when no one showed up and left yet another message. The next day the service was still out and no one returned a phone call. We again left a message at their office main phone number (since no live person will answer the phone). We have not had service for at least 10 days and no one will contact us. When we started this service we had to purchase the radio equipment to be mounted on our residence for several hundred dollars. Now we have expensive equipment for a service that does not work and has not worked for at least 10 days, and no one will answer the phone or return our messages. I have kept a log of our phone calls and messages and will soon be forced to take other action if something is not done to remedy this issue. If you are looking for a service provider, don't waste your money or time with this one! read more

We have had this service since 2010 at our office location and 2016 at our home. Initially, our experience was great.. but as they have added more and more customers and towers, we find there are more service interruptions that can be frustrating. That said, our outages are normally of a very short duration and they are adding new backups to try and make certain we have a redirect when service is out. You must also consider that this is coming through a dish so weather can play a part that they have no control over. I have always had prompt service and a return of call normally within the hour unless there has been a major interruption. We always receive an email explanation whenever there is a major interruption and an estimated time it will be resolved. We live in a rural area so this is our best alternative and were happy to have this option over either using a mobile hot spot or a huge dish on the house. read more
