$8,000-$10,000 is what I was quoted today for my lower back treatment, if I paid in advance. They never told me the total amount, just my share. After leaving messages for a week I made a second appointment for an adjustment and to review my previous X-rays. I DID NOT expect to be on FaceTime with a HARD SALE Care Manager. Ryan is good, very Personable, smooth talker. After sitting for 45 minutes telling them all the things I like about the advertisement (they do have very good ads); shown what was wrong with my back; asked personal questions that I would not have answered if I'd known they were gathered information to catfish me, to use as selling points. Ryan told me I was lucky, Medicare and other insurance would cover most of my costs so I would only have to pay $3,700- $4,200 in advance for 3 months of therapy, 3 times a week, tapering off after a few weeks. I was astonished. Usually I pay $40+/- a visit, Medicare and other insurance picks up the rest. I walked out of the room without any adjustment. I was then confronted by the receptionist to come back in and let them explain. Explain what? Then Megan, the Operations Manager, has called me two times so far. Let me tell you about the experience I had here. At first, it started off horrible with a big miscommunication. To say I was frustrated was an understatement. However, I love this place so let me explain. I was excited to come here after seeing all the video on Instagram of how incredible this place is. I thought to myself why not give this place a shot. I have to pay in cash since my insurance doesn't cover this place however with all the amazing results on Instagram I can't help it but to try. When I went into the office I was told I was late. I was confused since I was told a different time and remember repeating it back to the person twice. But the front desk coordinator was able to calm me down and fit me in. As I was going through the process, with the x-ray and spine check. I realized I wouldn't be adjusted and being a cash paying patient I was disappointed also I was in a lot of pain. As I left to the front desk, I was quoted a different price from what I was told. At this point to I was so upset i started to cry. I'm not the type of person who would just cry over anything however at this point I was just infuriated. The front desk coordinator started to comfort me and assisted me. She went to speak to the doctor to see what the doctor can do for me today also she honor the price I was told to pay. The front desk coordinator was amazing and to think about it, she had a great personality. I went back into the exam room and Dr. Fiona Cheung came into the room. I read reviews and still wanted to be optimistic and give this place a try. I went in for my initial consultation in lots of pain. During that appointment we just took X-rays and talked. They weren't able to schedule me to come in for the results of their findings until the following week. (Unacceptable when your already in pain and it's clear from the initial x-rays that your hip and pelvis are wayyyyy out of alignment) The day before my appointment for my findings (after having to get treatment elsewhere because the pain was unbearable) they cancelled my appointment because the case manager "wasn't feeling well". I expected that I would have issues due to sitting in the waiting room for my Initial visit and peoples appointments were being cancelled right in front of me. I still haven't received a response to my email from days ago. In my opinion since this is a healthcare/wellness facility that's the furthest from their minds. The same day my appointment was cancelled a friend was able to schedule an appointment for my time slot which lets me know they are more invested in getting a quick buck than actually helping people!!! read more
