Avoid at all costs, I had purchased a coupon from groupon hoping to go for a massage. Unfortunately, my voucher expired and groupon customer service advised that I talked to the Merchant to see if they will honour it. I went there after making an appointment and the conversation just went South, the person at the reception was the worst behaving person I've ever seen in my life. He not only kept reminding me that I was wasting his time and his masseuse time, but also that he's not obligated to take any voucher from me. He finished the conversation with saying that I was in his house, implying that I should really be leaving his office , at that point, I stormed away Please avoid. Such businesses should not exist. Long over due. I went to see Dr Tye because I found myself sitting in bed in the middle of the night crying due to back pain keeping me up. I'm a dog groomer so I abused my body for years lifting big dogs, working with untrained dogs etc. I started by going 3 times a week and did it for about a year then I dropped down to twice a week. What a miracle it has been. I didn't get the "snap crackle pop, get out" treatment here. I learned about my body, how to take care of it better, posture and so much more. It was a personalized treatment specific to my needs. I felt safe and taken care of. Can I recommend him to everyone I know? Yes and to everyone I don't know. I've suffered from migraines for most of adult life. Treating them is generally a process of trial & error, and in the spirit of experimentation, I decided to see if chiropractic care might reduce the severity or frequency. If you had told me the level of relief this would bring me, I honestly wouldn't have believed you. Dr. Ty is methodical in his approach, seeking to understand his patient's issues and needs holistically before he ever performs a physical adjustment. The result is a care plan and a routine tailored to the individual. It's been 6 months since I began treatment with him, and while I still experience the occasional low-level headache, they are NOTHING like what I dealt with in the past. I wish I had pursued this years ago. Beyond his obvious competence and expertise, Dr. Ty is also just a lovely person, and his office is comfortable and welcoming. Do not go here if you have WC claim for myofascial therapy. This place is under new owner and my experience with them was horrible and a complete disaster. The new owner, Tyrone, is self centered, condescending and unprofessional as well as unfamiliar with common business etiquettes. His attitude and mannerism are not in line with medical professionals who have genuine care and concerns for patients and patrons alike. I worked with this clinic in the past while Josh was still the owner. Little did I know what a waste of time coming back here. They cancelled 3 of my appointments 3 wks in a row with just a call on the day of.... I complained and asked for explanation before terminating my business. The office manager called me, asked for my business and patience as they were looking for therapists. She promised to keep me posted and to work on the request to extend my authorization since it was expiring due to their cancellations. I made a mistake of giving them a chance just to realize now that my authorization was expiring and of course they did not call to extend the request as promised. The owner blatantly refused any responsibility for the disorganization of his clinic, the high turnover rate of his office employees and the repeated cancellations which caused wasted time for me to receive proper care and resulted in the expiration of my authorization. He was cold and uninterested to resolve problems for his patrons. This is no way to do business! Without patrons, there is no business. If you're thinking of buying the groupon... don't. This isn't your typical groupon experience where you get to try a new place out. It's an agressive sales scheme to scare you into thinking you need long term treatment. EDIT: Someone should update the Groupon description to explicitly state that customers will be expected to come in two separate times. I've never been expected to hand out my SSN or insurance to any of the other occasional massages I've been to--only at doctor's offices where I am a long term patient. If I were looking for long term treatment, I'd be going through my insurance website anyway, NOT through a discount website. First off, the hours that he's available for the massage groupon are impossible for the average M-F 9-5 working person. I tried to make an appointment on my day off and "Dr" Josh stated that I had to make two appointments; one for an exam and one for the massage itself. Although I explained my working hours, he refused to try and fit both in one day. Since my groupon was already past the 3-day window for a refund, I gave it to a relative and was also asked to make two separate appointments. Josh also asked her to fill out some forms in advance, which asked for her social security number and insurance information. This review is for Dr. Tyrone Isquidro and his administrative staff, It seems that he is the new owner I am writing to document the horrific scheduling/customer service and general confusion,  with this office. When my therapy was approved for six visits, I was contacted by their office staff to schedule. There was a slight delay on getting in and my appointments were scheduled to begin on Friday  March 18th at 1:15. The staff member asked if that time worked, which it did, and we booked out the remaining five visits for the same day and time. I literally hit repeat in my phone to schedule the six visits. Not too complicated. My appointments were scheduled with "Geniya" a female which is what I requested. On Thursday March 17th, the day before my first appointment, they called and said that therapist was not available the next day and my appointment for the 18th needed to be re scheduled. I called and re scheduled for that appointment to be added to the back of the six weeks, as the following week on the 25th was already on the books. When I arrived at 1:15 on the 25th, was told I was early and my appointment was at 1;30. Well, that came and went and the therapist finally arrived at 1:45 after the owner called him on the phone and asked where he was? It was "Son", a male therapist not the female I initially booked with. On the third visit, i was notified by text page that my appointment was now on a Thursday without consulting me if that change fit my schedule. In fact, it did not and I had another appointment scheduled at that time. After calling their office, she then put me back on the originally scheduled Friday time. Today, I arrived for the fifth of the six scheduled appointments. I was told I did not have a scheduled appointment today. This was after I checked in at the counter on their computer system. Today was appointment number five. Three of the five appointments I had were disruptive in some manner. One was rescheduled by them, one their staff was 30 minutes late and today they said I didn't have an appointment. It's hard for me to imagine more confusion and lack of professionalism. I explained my frustration with Dr. Tyrone Isquirdo, the owner and informed him I would not be returning. Do yourself a favor and find a better facility! read more

My family and I have been going to Dr. Josh for a few months now. We went there the first time because my husband has been complaining back aches for years. He has been going to the doctor regarding the pain but the doctors would just give him pain relievers which doesn't really solve the issue. A friend of ours, recommended to see a Chiropractor. I am a nurse and started to feel some strain on my back from work and an older mattress. I decided I wanted to see a chiropractor to at least get more information and tips on how to find some relief. Upon my first call, we were able to schedule two appointments - one for orientation / X-Ray and the other to review X-Ray findings / adjustment. Things moved pretty quickly and I paid through CareCredit which was very convenient since I used this service before. It came out to ~ $2700 at once with $200/month. They help sort out the contract payments. I did not expect to pay this much for a longer term contract, but at the time I was able to. (This compared to pricing of individual sessions) Dr. Josh helped me become more conscious about my spinal health. There was emphasis on preventative measures with adjustments and traction. After about two months of sessions I felt much more improvement with my mobility and focus. I was able to schedule two message therapy sessions which were top-notch and the therapists were very professional and pleasant. For the first few months the plan was 3 adjustments per week, where you can come in during varying time slots throughout the day - very convenient. I decided to discontinue services because my finances changed and preferred not to afford this luxury at this time. I felt lucky to not be in any immediate discomfort and to use this service from a more preventative approach. I hope to continue going for occasional adjustments and massage sessions outside of my previous contract. Great experience with Dr Josh and his massage therapist Dawn! I was first introduced to their services through Groupon and was able to receive consult, adjustment and two massages for a very reasonable price. Dr Josh made the adjustment in a very professional way and his consult was truly educational and helpful. He offered great discounts for further treatments, which makes them affordable (like less than $600 for 12 adjustments during one year.) They accept CareCredit. I consider purchasing the package as I think the spinal adjustments do contribute to overall health and that's a good investment. Dawn, the message therapist, was totally great. It's petty she is going to leave to start something new, as I know. I wish Dr Josh will find the equally professional message therapist. I think it's important to understand that enrolling in chiropractic care will take time (I.e. several visits) to fully enjoy the benefits. I've just had my LifeGiving event (exam and adjustment), and have to say that I came out of the office more knowledgeable about my spine condition and feeling great! After reviewing the condition of my spine (very bad), it all made sense - tension on my right side, wrist ache, chronic shoulder ache, etc. My spine was all out of shape! Dr. Josh was careful to make sure all my questions were answered, and was honest about the process and how long it will take. I think some people might expect that one adjustment should fix everything and be enough, but that's simply not the case. I've been coming to LifeGiving Chiropractic for a couple of months now and I love it! Dr. Josh makes it really easy to get on a routine schedule to get your back on track. Total strong arm sales tactics. I found this place close by so I figured it would be good based on yelp reviews. I must admit I never have been to a chiropractor so I really didn't know what to expect. The first and second session which could have easily been one was just weird. The first time I came in the secretary walked up to me to say hi then proceeded to give me a tour around the office to show me their motto (live well with health or something) And everything else they " stand" for. She showed me pictures of top chiropractic patient of the month, top improver? Why would I care I had no idea, it wasn't addressing anything I was there for. Finally a tech did some measurements and x-Rays. The doctor came in a few times to tell me how happy he was I was there (creepy) I returned the next day and sat through a lame meaningless presentation about chiropractic and how his wife had a neck problem. He said he thanked god that we met a couple of times which turned me off immediately. After he showed me X-rays and said after I need to be on a one year program wtf? Anywho he took me into the office of course making way to much eye contact the entire time and really laid into the sale. Can you make payments or all at once? Didn't address my problem or what was causing it. I told the guy at least 6 times I had to wait to see if I can do it. Hate to say it but he really shoveled the bs. Welcome to the community Dr. Ben... I was skeptical about trying a new chiropractor after having a bad experience with one chiropractor. A previous chiropractor gave me an adjustment and left my neck in ridiculous pain that led to a severe migraine, when I discussed with him he said it would go away with time...so I was very hesitant, but Dr. Ben came highly recommended by my Crossfit community... I made sure to discuss immediately with Dr. Ben my concerns and past experience during my consultation, I enjoyed the fact that he is thorough and always emphasized educating me on chiropractic care and overall proper health and care for my spine. It was important to Dr. Ben to discuss my pain, correcting my posture and maintaining a healthy spine, because of course our spines are essential to walking, living and independence. After reviewing my x-ray's and discussing my corrective care needs and then my first adjustment, I walked out not only educated, but immediately noticed relief from the constant lower back and neck pain I've been experiencing for some time. After my third adjustment I began to notice how much more relaxed my back felt, my shoulders didn't feel as stiff and I didn't feel like I was struggling to hold my head up. As an athlete, I'm constantly on the hunt for the perfect chiropractor. I've shopped around for quite of few of them and this one was of my stops. I always schedule at least two appointments to evaluate the the clinics which I also did here. I was intrigued with the evaluation at first, but then they made me sit though a powerpoint with another client. I got impatient when I realized he was talking to us like a salesman instead of a doctor. Having also worked in sales, I recognized a lot of the sale tactics and gimmicks here. The member of the month, the appeal to get the family enrolled, the way they directed me straight into a 5 or 10 session pack by asking the open ended questions about their rates and packages. I really dislike how they had a hard time taking no for an answer. I have a pretty hectic schedule due to school and sports. I told her I wouldn't know my schedule until I got back into town, but the receptionist kept throwing dates after dates at me until she said, "How about I call you on this date?" Trust me, if you provide the service I'm looking for, I'll return. I was immediately turned off by how pushy both Josh and the receptionist was, but still like the thoroughness of their evaluation so I came back twice to give it a chance. The way I was adjusted actually didn't cater to the issue I came in to treat. It actually felt like a very generic adjustment. I watch him adjust 3 patients while I was "warming up" my hips with the exercise I was instructed to do. They were all the same. I was looking for something different but everything nothing seemed catered to anyone's specific needs. Then again, I was only here for three sessions. He is an excellent chiropractor - and I should know- my mother my my chiro for 30 years till she passed in 2009 and I thought i would never get a good adjustment again until I found Josh and his practice. You know that old saying, "You get what you pay for?" It's true in most areas of life, including healthcare. That said, you will find that the location is spa-like in ambiance, the staff are "100%" a pleasure to deal with (especially Ulani who is the epitome of the perfect front desk person - welcoming, warm, friendly, remembers everyone's name, has all the answers, etc etc etc), and the doctor is... How do I put this? He is Mr. Wonderful! He gets results, and isn't that why we go to a Chiropractor? No matter how lovely the staff and office are, what really matters is results. I'll be honest, I went the Chiropractic route because I was desperate, not because I was a believer. I had tried many (scary) medications for migraines, seen specialist after specialist and was at a point that I was facing even scarier medications to try to manage the pain. A few people I know mentioned the option of Chiropractic, which I didn't put very high on my list. That is, until I tried the medications that are out there for migraines. The medications felt more like poisons, which did help the pain but caused other serious and alarming side effects. I just couldn't do it anymore, so I gave Chiropractic a shot. I figured it was worth a try before I would have to take the plunge and start the worst medication of them all, which would cause my hair to fall out, my nails to yellow, my skin to prematurely age, and a host of other side effects that would affect my internal organs. It has only been one month for me, but to date, I have had ZERO instances of migraines since I started with Dr. Josh and his team. If you suffer at all from migraines, you know that that is worth ANY price. The fact that I have been migraine medication free since I started is nothing short of a miracle. Things that I really like about my treatment so far: 1. The doctor and staff remember my name every time I go in! They remember facts about me! As if I'm a person and not just a patient or a monthly payment. Amazing. (I guess I am too used to Kaiser! LOL) 2. The treatment plan I signed up for includes as many visits as I need at any given point in treatment, massages, all kinds of home care items, exercise equipment, even supplements that are all designed to help with my migraine issues and overall wellness. 3. The doctor has listened to every fear or concern I've had since the moment I walked into his office, and has addressed each one to my satisfaction. I go in to every single appointment without a shred of trepidation. 4. An unexpected bonus is that my body has suddenly been able to fight off colds. I used to get sick A LOT, and since I started, I've had only one sore throat with some sinus pressure and fatigue that lasted all of 2 days. Not two weeks or two months, but two DAYS. Unheard of for me. I am hopeful that the positive effects I have experienced in the last month will last years, and hopefully for the rest of my life. Only time will tell. All I can say is that at this moment, I am glad I took the risk of stopping the medication and trying this treatment instead. Wow. I don't even know where to start. First off, I'm going there due to major pain and it's very difficult for me to drive, however because I don't have a ride I have to drive on my own. I had an appointment at 11am, I got multiple calls as confirmation, and asked me to get there by 10:45. This place is about 25 mins away from my home. So I drove there, the rude receptionist came out and called me by another name. I said that's not me he said then you don't have an appointment. I explained that I got multiple calls for confirmation. After 10 mins of back and forth he said oh I just realized your app is at 1:30pm, I was confused. I explained to him that I'm unable to go back home and drive here again as I'm in much pain. He didn't care, he was very rude, and had so much attitude for his mistake. I have been going to Dr. Josh for over a month now, and it has been a great experience so far! I was so impressed with how nice Dr. Josh and his team are, that I got my boyfriend in the office as well for chiropractic care. He also enjoys it! Not only do we get our bodies adjusted, but it is very important to Dr. Josh that his patients understand and learn about the spine and what we have to do to keep our spine healthy. He even sets up workshops to teach and talk about specific topics to help us out even more! He is always patient when we have questions, and whenever we have a conflict with our appointments, the receptionist is always happy to reschedule for a better time/day for us. I really feel like Dr. Josh is concerned about his patients' health, and he does whatever he can to get our bodies as healthy as they can be. The office is at a convenient location, in a new building across from the Pruneyard. The atmosphere of the office is calming and inviting, and everything is always so tidy and clean! I started working with Dr. Josh about 6 months ago after some sports-related aches and have been very pleased with the care and attention I've received from the entire 100% staff, as well as happy with the progress I've made addressing the pains that brought me to Dr. Josh and team in the first place. I cam here with a living social deal and like many deals that I've redeemed they seemed a bit caught off guard but managed to make all the appointments. I must say that Dr. Josh & his front desk staff are VERY kind. They all seem to genuinely believe in chiropractic work ('drunk the koolaid haha) and I did enjoy my one manual adjustment. However I just found it hard to schedule appointment times, Dr. Josh seemed to be in the office very infrequently. When I came for my second adjustment he was running late from a dentist appointment and I got frustrated and just left. I had a good experience here and maybe if I lived closer had a more flexible schedule I could make it a regular practice. read more

Dr. Joshua Ben is an excellent chiropractor. He is very professional and personable. He is an educator on overall health as well. You will learn the word and definition of "Subluxation". We crossed path in November 2011 after my knee surgery, as I was on crutches. If you've had a lower extremity injury (or any injury for that matter), you tend to augment your walk, posture, etc. in effort to decrease discomfort. This behavior tends to make matters worse and you heal slower. Dr. Ben suggested that I come in for a consultation. In the consultation he educated me on spinal health and how it plays a huge part in my overall health. He took x-rays to review the condition of my spine, made suggestion and implemented a plan for long-term improvements. Needless to say my chiropractic care has assisted in my speedy recovery. My gait has changed, decrease in neck and back pain, and my structure is more aligned. I am back on my feet with decreased pain make great progress in such a short time.
