A week before my appointment they called me and told me due to recent "drop-ins" they'd have to push me back another month. This company clearly does not understand customer service, they already had my parts, the insurance money, everything ready to go. Yet they chose to push my appointment out because there were other "high value" jobs that JUST SHOWED UP. After discussing it with my fiancé, we decided to move forward and purchase the vehicle the next day. When we called back, we were told it had already been sold. I understand that vehicles can sell quickly, but it's extremely frustrating that a car can be sold after a deposit was already placed and while I was given time to make a decision. In fact, I was told, "We ask for a $500 deposit and it ensures that we won't sell the car out from under you." That clearly wasn't the case, and it doesn't feel like good business practice. They did offer me a different vehicle, but it was my least favorite color. I asked about other color options available but they said they were at their Plattsburgh location. They said I would have to travel there myself and complete a whole new application, basically starting from scratch. I completely wasted my time. I wouldn't recommend leaving a deposit here, there doesn't seem to be a point if the vehicle can still be sold to someone else.
