I wish I could give this business a better review, but after driving a long way I was disappointed. This seller clearly stated "no leaks" after I specifically asked, but there was current and prior water damage in several areas. Stay away! They are dishonest/shrewd. We relied on their expertise as novice buyers. BIG mistake. Asked twice if it had leaks. Tony said no. We paid all cash for our rig. About a month post purchase (when we were preparing to take our maiden voyage) here's a list of things we learned: the dometic fridge inside of it had a recall and could catch the entire rig on fire. As full-timers with 2 young kids, that was bad news. We got that taken care of ASAP under manufacturers recall. RV interstate should've caught that. Fridge repair folks said btw your rubber roof is on its last leg. Huh? They said you may have 6 months left on it. The black stuff showing through the white is the membrane = last layer of the roof. How much is a roof? $8-$9k. The dealership sold us an RV that technically should've carried a salvage title given the cost of the repair, but didn't. When I asked Tony at dealership why he lied about the roof he said I purchased as-is and he told me there were no leaks. He claim no expertise on RV roofs so he "didn't know" it needed a roof. He then suggested a cheaper alternative of a roll-on product for a few hundred bucks instead. When asked if he'd cover, he refused. He reminded me I purchased as-is. I said I purchased as-you-disclosed it. While on our maiden voyage we had to call the yolo county fire Dept because of an egg-like odor in the rig. They found nothing. The odor eventually subsided. By our second trip it happened again. This time the smell was stronger and more poignant. We knew not to call the fire dept. Instead we searched an RV Facebook group and came up with a list of possible culprits behind the smell and started crossing off the list. Turned out, the batteries that powered the coach was the problem. RV interstate sold us a rig with a car battery hooked to a 12 v battery under our stairs. The car battery was frying the 12 v battery causing a toxic gas to be released...a stinky hot liquid was spewing from the battery's top. We sent video to a mobile RV repair guy. He pointed out that the batteries didn't match. We immediately purchased (2) new 12-V deep cycle batteries. Another discovery we made was after leaving our maiden voyage. We'd put some water in our fresh water tank to gear up for our first dry camping trip. Following behind the rig in a car, I noticed water coming from underneath the rig. By the time we got to our dry camp site the back carpet in the bedroom was wet. The water tank leaks! Well, by November we were in our rainy season in California. It came early. First big rains in the RV we had leaks coming from 4 different places. When we went to show Tony, in real time, that his lies were stacking up, his dealership was closed that rainy day. We walked his lot anyway and saw another rig in his lot leaking inside. Some poor unsuspecting person is going to buy that, I thought. We had a repair person patch the immediate leaks as we're on a waiting list for a roll-on fix. Doubt we'll keep it so putting $8-$9k into a new roof doesn't make sense at this point. While having a repair guy patch the roof he discovered and removed so many silicone chunks from the roof. Some unskilled persons patched the rubber roof with silicone. RV interstate is incompetent to sell RVs. Unless you're up for a fixer upper, don't buy from these guys. And certainly don't pay their asking price. We were clear that we were full-timing with kids. We spent our hard-earned cash on a money pit. We've been apprehensive to put it on the road to drive it long distance because we now don't trust that the mechanics are up to par as Tony said. We live in our Rig full-time and it's kind of what we're stuck with. We're making the most of it. You live and you learn. The BEST time to buy an RV is during rainy season. We know that now. I'd expected that RV Interstate was an ethical dealership when I saw all the items referencing Jesus on social media and in the office. I was like, cool. They'll be good to do business with. I was wrong. It took me a while to write this review because I was torn. I support business. I support entrepreneurs. I don't want to be the one to drag an entrepreneur's reputation through the mud. Facts are facts. Do your research. Take the rig for a good look over by a professional who knows RV's. As a novice, you could be a sitting duck when dealing with a company like Interstate RV. Interstate RV is incompetent to sell RVs. Either they don't know the basics or they don't tell the truth. Either way, a novice buyer is screwed with them. OH, one last thing. When we paid all that cash he wanted to send us off the lot with no gas. Yes! No gas in the tank. I had to negotiate $50 in gas. $50!!! I let my Georgie Boy go for less than I hoped but I didn't want to do the repairs myself so he took it off my hands and we came to a fair deal. DON'T DO Business with Interstate RV I found an RV I liked on Facebook being sold for a private party by Interstate RV. We negotiated an owner approved price via text (so in writing). They called back a few days later and said the owners renegade and could not sell it for the agreed to price. They offered to forgo their commission and fees resulting in a $1,800 price increase. After checking their poor reviews here on Yelp, I asked for proof the amount owed and their commission. They refused. I decided I did not want to business with them. I had to eat a $180 airfare, but probably saved money in the end. read more

Gio was great with customer service in allowing us to inspect the RV, test major systems, and road test the vehicle. When we were satisfied we met Tony. This place is the definition of sleazy use car salesman. I drove 4 hours to visit there lot and was in communication the whole time. When I got there they were gone for the day. Obviously I was serious about buying something if i drove that far. I might have even drove home with something. I had yhe cash in my pocket. So I guess l was lucky they weren't there and I had time to think on it. They deny any knowledge of what they sell. They ban-aid stuff up just enough to get it out the door. I looked at an RV and told them the rv smelled heavily of bleach and asked them why? They denied using bleach and it was quite evident because of all the internal damage from them spraying it. Residue was all over the windows and interior cabinets. The interior of the rv was filthy with leftover food in drawers and black mold in the closets. Other RV's on the lot were similar. One of the beds looked like someone was sleeping in it. Another was stripped of its sheets and I seen blood on it.... I seen a guy doing a ton of bondo on one rv I doubt they are going to mention anything to the new buyers. Buyers beware with this place. If you don't know a lot about RV's then spend your money at a more reputable place. read more

I purchased a small RV from this business a few weeks ago. The ad said there were no issues and that it was in good condition. I went to look at it, and didn't notice any problems, so I bought it and took it home. It had been raining the last couple days, and upon bringing it home we noticed a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom. When I pushed on the ceiling it was squishy. We then realized the entire ceiling was filled with water and that the roof was not sealed completely. There was massive dry rot. This would have cost me thousands of $$$ to fix. Because the owners didn't mention ANYTHING about this when I bought it, I contacted them immediately. After going back and forth, they finally agreed to take the RV back and fix the damage free of charge. Apparently they ate about $1,500 fixing it, and ended up losing money. read more

WARNING! Do not purchase an RV from Interstate RV. Stay away from this dealer unless you want to get ripped off. Tony and his sons are liars, deceivers, and unscrupulous. I'm 70 years old and have never been ripped off as bad as this in my lifetime. I served in the Army's Military Intelligence branch for 20 years and then 21 years in Law Enforcement with unbinding Integrity. I made an appointment and went to Interstate RV to see a 2005 Born Free motorhome that was advertised on the Facebook marketplace. I was taken over to the RV to view the inside. I found the inside to be in good condition. Also, there was a Furrion back up camera that I plugged into the power outlet on the dash and was able view that he back-up camera was working. The engine sounded good and we went back to the office to negotiate the price. I asked Tony if the generator ran well since we didn't check it out during the inspection. Tony said the generator ran well. I took his word for it as I'm new to RV's and was trusting what Tony was telling me since he's been in business for 30 years. Tony, told me that at the sale price of $39,999 he was only making $1000.00 and that he picked it up near the San Diego area and he drove it back and it drove great and would not be dropping the price. I decided to buy it and he said he would require a $2000.00 deposit. I gave him the deposit and told him I would put $30,000.00 down and would be financing $13.000.00. He recommended Umpqua bank that he used in the past for the loan. The loan from Umpqua bank ended up taking too long, up to two to three weeks, so I decide to pay all cash for the RV. I brought him the cashier's checks, did the paperwork, and his sons delivered the RV to my home the next day. I asked Tony's son, Vinnie, to show me how to start the generator. He tried numerous times to start the generator, but couldn't get it to start. We also checked for the Furrion backup camera monitor and it was missing. Vinnie said it must have been accidentally left at the dealership when they were cleaning prior to delivery. Tony stated in an email for 2 days that the monitor could not be found at the dealership. Also, the camera that was attached to the top rear of the RV was now just hanging down by the power wire and not attached to the RV. There was only one key for the coach door that only fit the top lock and no key for the bottom lock. Now for the facts about this purchase. Through public records I was able to locate and call the man, I will call the 86 year old man that sold the RV to the dealership. Fact 1. Tony told me he was only making about $1000.00 on the deal. The 86-year-old man told me that Tony only gave him $20,000 for the RV. Tony told him the RV had a major leak and showed him that the rear bed was all wet. They must have poured water on it because it sat in the rain after I purchased it and didn't leak a drop of water. I went up on the roof and there were no recent signs of repair to an all-fiberglass roof. Fact 2. Tony told me that he had put some new batteries in there for me. The 86-year-old man told me he had just put in new batteries and that they had even stolen his battery charger which he was quite upset about. Fact 3. Tony stated he bought the RV in the San Diego area, drove it back and it ran well. The 86-year-old man lives in Yuba City which is only 39 miles from the dealership, hence another lie. Fact 4. The Furrion backup camera that was stolen out of the RV after I purchased it is a $450 dollar item to replace. I suspect it was taken out for resale. Fact 5. It was raining the day I looked at the RV and didn't start the Onan generator. When I ask Tony if the generator was working well, he stated that it ran well. When his son delivered the RV, he was not able to start it for me. Messaged Tony and told him the generator wouldn't start. He said it's probably something minor and to take it to an RV repair place. I told him I checked around and all RV repair places were booked out for 3 months. He said he would call some people he knew and get back to me. Tony never did. When I talked to the 86-year-old man about the generator he stated he owned the RV for 8 years and the generator never worked. Impossible for Tony to have heard it run well. read more

I certainly wish I had read the review by Kisha F. before we bought our unit. We were ignorant and foolish to trust strangers we thought were honest and reputable. This is our first motorhome. We weren't sure if we'd like it or not so didn't want to invest too much money and we didn't mind if it was older or had a few dings on the outside because this would be our unit to learn on. The unit did have one large ding on the side that we wanted fixed. It wasn't going to be a fancy job, just applying RV silicone to patch up the hole. We paid cash for the unit on February 11 and had to leave it at the lot for a few days to get this repair done. When we went back to pick up our motorhome, a red light came on and wouldn't go off. They were frantic over the light, then said it was for the front left stabilizer. Since they couldn't fix it immediately, we again had to leave the unit. This took several days because they aren't open on Sunday. We also gave them cash to put gas into the empty tank. We picked it up finally and decided to spend four nights at an rv park about a quarter mile away and learn how everything worked. Tony called us in a day or so and said that DMV costs had been higher than estimated and asked us to bring more money. When we arrived within a few minutes and he found out we were basically across the road he almost turned green. My husband noticed in one of the outside compartments that there was a lot of fluid. We thought it was from the reservoir tank for the hydraulic leveling pump. It wasn't until we were preparing to depart and raising the jacks that we got nervous again. When my husband looked at the tank again, we could see where the back of the tank had been "fixed" with RV silicone and duct tape. On February 27, we had to spent $2,362.67 to repair what Interstate RV said they had already fixed. Gee, does fixing something with silicone and duct tape really count as a repair? This was a part that was no longer being made and it took until April 14 to get the repair done. We are an older couple. I'm disabled and climb into and out of our unit on my hands and knees. They knew we had a trip planned that would take us to very remote areas. A breakdown there would have been a real nightmare. If the jacks failed to lift we would have been stuck. It really upsets me that this company is so desperate to make a quick buck that they let kids and disabled people ride around in dangerous vehicles. Last Fall, my wife and I, newbie campers and proud owners of a 2019 LittleGuy Mini Max travel trailer, brought our camper from Massachusetts to Florida. On the trip down, we ran into several problems: converter stopped charging our battery, the wetbath wall covering started to pull away from the wall, and an impatient driver nicked the back of the camper. We had planned on leaving our TT at an RV park for the winter, but with these problems and, an expiring warranty period, we opted to try and find a local LittleGuy Dealer to help us. Man did we ever luck out by happening upon the exceptionally kind and capable folks at Interstate RV in Fort Pierce. We showed up on a Saturday and, although the Service Department was closed, Dan Green, Interstate's Sales Manager, convinced us that the best option was to leave our camper with them (we had to leave the next day to meet several back-home obligations). Dan promised to have Interstate's Service Manager, Roland Kates, contact me first thing Monday. I received Roland's call while driving through Washington DC. He listened to my concerns and reviewed the next steps involving warranty approvals and work to be scheduled/completed. Roland could not have been more professional or considerate and proposed a regular communications update plan that kept me consistently apprised and assured that our camper was in good hands. When Roland learned that it would take several weeks for the new converter to be shipped, he actually called LittleGuy's Warranty Manager and requested that they expedite the converter by "pulling one directly off the production line." His request was approved and the timeframe to complete the converter installation was drastically reduced. All the warranty work we requested, as well as some additional and important road-readying services Roland recommended, was completed in a timely and professional manner. And, as if all of this was not enough, he actually met us on a Saturday, when the Service Department is normally closed, so we could pickup our camper and restart our adventuring. My apologies for the length of this review - but I wanted to convey my utmost thanks and appreciation for the good folks at Interstate RV - especially Roland Kates!!! read more
