This location has been bought by Firestone, and this review is not targeting C&C…read more TLDR: This is an incredibly dishonest auto shop, and could have put my family and I at risk due to negligence and deceit. Take your car somewhere else. I went in for an oil change and hadn't had any work done for awhile, so I expected a lot to be uncovered in the inspection. They came back and told me that my brake pads/rotors and struts/shocks needed to be replaced. Specifically they told me the front brake were at less than 4mm and needed to be replaced ASAP, the back brakes were at 5mm and could wait 3 - 4 months, and there were "rust rings" in my rotors so they would also need to be replaced. They quoted me a little over $3,500 for everything. I know a little about cars and have mechanics in the family, so I ran everything by them first. 1) We decided to do the brakes ourselves (my uncle worked at a brake shop). We found that there was no issue with the rotors in what they described as "rust rings". Saved a few bucks there. The front pads were at about 4mm, so they likely did check those. We got to the back brakes, and had to use a sledge hammer to get the tires off (indication that they didn't take them off to check). When we got the pads off there most almost nothing left, and they were about to start grinding the rotors. Another indication that they lied about checking them because there was certainly not 5mm left. 2) I took my car to another shop to have the struts/shocks looked at after realizing the lies this Firestone told about the brakes. I had noticed the cars handling was a bit spongey and bouncy, so seemed like it could be true. The next shop actually test drove the car, and found the issue wasn't the struts/shocks, rather 3/4 tires had broken belts. This Firestone clearly did not check the car thoroughly and lied about the issues I was having to milk me for money. The scariest part about this is that broken tire belts increase the risk for blowouts at high speed. So I could have put $3,500 into my car, and still had something catastrophic occur that could have caused injury to my family, me or someone else. Not much else needs to be said about this business.

I scheduled it for replacement His wife Tracey (nice lady) sent over my inspection report with pictures. The report showed the leaking condenser unit and also he noticed a leaking CV Axle. His inspection was very thorough and he checked EVERYTHING. He also replace a bulb in the upper tail light assy and did an oil change. I mentioned to Tracey that my dog had to be put down. It's the middle of September and I still don't have any idea of what's going on. They do not call to update me and when I call I get a voice mail. When I visit the shop they tell me they are close to solving the problem?!?! This is ridiculous and yes I have a warranty.

Stay away. They OVERCHARGE and do the job badly. They put the wrong drive shaft bracket on our…read moretruck, so there was a lot of play in the drive shaft, causing a major vibration through the whole vehicle. They also put on 8 after market, poor quality cab mounts between the frame, making the whole cab feel like you were riding on metal. When we brought it back because of the vibration, they did a full inspection and couldn't figure out where it was coming from, even though it was their fault and charged us more. We spent at least $10,000 for motor work, the drive shaft, etc! $6,800 of that went to bullet proofing the engine (which means there will be no more leaks). The truck had to go back MULTIPLE times because it wouldn't stop leaking. J told me the engine would still have problems even after they finished their work. After paying $6,800 to "bullet proof" an engine, there should be no more problems! They also put in a steering wheel box and didn't tighten down the adjuster nut, so while my boyfriend was driving, he was having to turn the wheel to the right and left, 12 inches each time, just to keep the vehicle straight. He had to drive like that for 13 hours. Even worse, when we got the truck back after many of their "repairs", they returned it with a broken tail light, dented hood and dented quarter panel. So unprofessional! They held on to our truck for months and this is how they returned it to us. While this might be an easy stop for a lot of people that are local, I recommend you skip it and go to a qualified mechanic. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Got a quick response from the owner (Lou) and was told they were available Monday morning in a two-hour window. Took off work Monday morning to wait for them, nobody came. Called the owner, was told there had been some emergency but they would try to come later that day in the evening. He also increased his initial quote by $50. That evening, received a text from Lou saying none of the staff were available, asking to reschedule. Confirmed a new appointment for Wednesday evening. Wednesday rolls around, I get completely ghosted - no response to texts/calls, and nobody shows up at the appointment time. Got my installation done elsewhere.

I submitted a request for a quote here on Yelp and they were one of the first places to reply. They offered a low price but being mobile made me suspicious we gave them a call. After talking through the issue we were surprised and excited that they could fix the car right where it was. This saved us from having to pay for a tow truck. Also, it was Black Friday and they were able to come to us on Monday morning. We purchased a new starter through Auto Zone (thanks to their Black Friday deal we got 20% off AND free next day delivery!!) The guys arrived 30 mins early!!!! It was amazing how they just lifted up my Honda Civic which had been sitting in my parking lot since Wednesday. It took a few hours but they were able to install the new starter and charge us what they quoted over the phone. We are very happy and impressed! The next time my "city car" (a 2008 Honda Civic) needs something I am definitely going to call Super Mobile Mechanics first.
