Seeking information... For whatever reason one of the quickest way to get answers is through getting an X-ray though this visit was for mom to get an MRI and what a convenient location as their located in the Medical Arts Bldg on S.King Street. If you're driving parking is located in the back on Young Street no ticket or validation is needed and just park all the way in the back as the building on the right side is where they're located on the first floor and is very easy to find. The staff here is so nice and friendly, as there are a bunch of forms to sign and answer but the kindness here is soothing as gives you the comfort that you're going to be well take care of. Appointment was early at 6:45am but didn't take very long at all and once done she was given a goodie bag of a small bottle water and some cookies from Big Island Candies was a lovely touch as she didn't have anything to eat, the thoughtfulness was appreciated. Thank you!

1st class service by the staff. Make you feel welcomed and secure. They ask many questions to make sure you are ok and can do the mri. At the end of the session they give you a bottle of water and a candy. Many mahalos to the staff. You folks rock

I had my first appointment here this evening, 11/10/25. (Was referred by Excel Health, which was authorized by the Veterans Care in the Community Network [VCCN]) My wonderful wife (yeah, she is) and I had arrived a bit early as we had dinner next door at Junpuu Ramen (HIGHLY RECOMMEND, as it was Recommended to me) -- We were actually 1.5 hours early. However, it gave me some time to fill out the paperwork. No worries. The front desk Staff were all SUPER KIND and SWEET!!! Was even offered some NOMS Chocolate and some mini bottles of water while we wait. WOW :)) The waiting area is quite nice, clean, almost feels like a living room and somewhat elegant LOL My wife LOVED the comfortable chair!!! My appointment was scheduled for 7:45pm. However, was able to start a little early. AWESOME. "Suzanne" took AMAZING Care of me and thoroughly explained what I needed to do or what was going to happen. She brought us back to use restroom, provided some loose, comfortable pants (think they're called Scrubs) to change into and a locker with key to store clothes in. We were brought back to another small waiting room with a huge fish tank with one of the biggest Moorish Idols I'd ever seen (used to Scuba) and Pufferfish. I was interviewed briefly and waited a little longer. I truly apologize, I forgot the other AMAZING woman' name who was operating MRI Machine. She checked to see if I as ok as I was having muscle spasms and pain in my low back and right leg during the scan. This Imaging Facility is Hands-Down DA BEST Imaging place ON ISLAND!!! I've had 5 MRI's in past 2 decades and this is the ONLY place that offers you headphones with "music" of whatever genre you like (I chose Classic Rock) that CAN go into the MRI machine. I'm not claustrophobic or anything but the music made the experience LESS stressful than hearing the annoying clicks and low to high pitched buzzing sounds. I mean, it doesn't totally block out the irritating sounds. BUT, if you're singing along with the tunes. You can kinda drown out and ignore them. I thought it was quite pleasant! It actually allowed me not to think too much about my radiating pain either!! Finished about 8:45pm. Initially was supposed to finish 9pm. -- As we were leaving I said, Thank You to everyone!!! Was even offered MORE Chocolate and water from the SWEET young woman at the front desk. WOW, BONUS :)) Unfortunately, my wife said I didn't need anymore :'( HAHAHA Once again, "Suzanne" went Above and Beyond and held 3 doors open for up as my wife was helping push my wheelchair. She also warned my wife and I that it can get slippery in the parking lot (had been raining) and to be extremely careful when transferring from my wheelchair to the car. WOW, this Facility and Staff, ROCK!!!!! Oh, and MAHALO to "Pearl" for being so SWEET and KIND and explaining the parking lot situation of where to park, and location of wheelchair access. She called the me the day before my appointment. -- OUTSTANDING SERVICE from the Start!!!!!!

Periodically I need to get MRI scans and since I tend to get claustrophobic, its never a pleasant experience so when I heard about InVision, I asked my doctor for a referral to get the scan done there and am so grateful I did. The machine did not seem that different from others - I thought the hole was going to be larger than usual, but it seemed regular size (but I didn't look too close since I was trying to control my anxiety.) But what sets InVision apart from having an MRI done at the hospital, is the environment. Other reviewers mention "spa-like" and it does have that vibe with the decor, soothing colors, orchids. And being in such a pleasant space did calm my nerves and make the whole experience less traumatic. On arrival, you have to fill out a bit of paperwork then you are taken back to waiting room that has an aquarium in the wall where you talk to a tech about the procedure. Next you go into a small changing room with a locker and after changing into some scrubs you lock up your clothes and valuables. The actual scan took about 45 minutes and I had ear plugs and listened to music but the sound of machine was very noisy. The tech continued to ask me via the earphones, how I was doing and I had a little bulb to hold to press in case I needed help. This was all reassuring. About mid way through, they came and injected some dye in an IV. I still do not like MRI's but having it done here helped make it less stressful so if I need another MRI in the future, I'll be sure to come back. NOTE: The next day I called and picked up a CD copy for a doctor which was most helpful. ANOTHER NOTE - the day after I posted this review I opened the small box of chocolates given to me when I left and found a card from the owner with his PHONE NUMBER to call if there was anything wrong with my experience at InVision. No wonder they do such a great job!

Receptionist and technicians are respectful, professional, considerate, detailed, and efficient throughout the entire time. Instructed to complete, answer questions and sign consent forms in front seating area. Technician led me to another room for changing wardrobe and holding valuables in a secured, key locker. They also provide clean scrubs and complimentary face mask. Another technician guided and warned me in advance that MRIs are loud and will take approximately 45 minutes. Also reassured for comfort and peace of mind with the following: Would you like a blanket? Yes. Would you like to listen to music? Yes. Do you have a favorite music you'd like to listen to? Yes. Pop. 80's. Given pair of ear plugs to protect ear drums and drown out some of loud noise. Provided a handheld button to squeeze in the event you'll need something. Arrive in your most comfy footwear, with ID and insurance card.

InVision made the whole MRI process easy for anyone! My entire experience from start to finish was east, comfortable and more than exceptional. Upon PA approval from my insurance, I got a phone call from the office to set up an appointment. The earliest appointment available was about 2 weeks out. She gave me multiple options and worked with me. Appointment is visible on My Chart - very convenient. Text message and phone call reminder a few days prior. Check in was seamless - one guest allowed with you, waiting room was comfortable. Kobi (sp?) assisted me with check in - paperwork, injury interview and guiding me to changing room. My female technician (Amber?) was very patient with me as I was still walking slowly due to injury. She made sure to explain what to expect during the MRI, made me comfortable with a warmed blanket, put TV on and checked in with me through out the entire process. Check out was just as easy and was given a goody bag to go. Mahalo InVision!!

Is one reason that we need imagine and this is using x-ray as my ankle has been through so much that the doctor wanted to see how things are affected if any and since the Queen's Island Urgent Care doesn't have imagine at its facility I was directed to this location at the Queen's POB 3 (Physician Office Building) and it's located on the busy corner fronting the main hospital. Parking entrance is on Lauhala Street and is automated but Imaging does validate so getting there is fast and easy. Access through the lobby is available a couple of ways...stairs which is very clear and obvious though the elevator wasn't for me as this was my first time and is a very specific one to take as the standard ones that take you to the offices above don't go to imagine so you need to look past that as there's a sign that will tell you this which I missed unfortunately and took the stairs that was quite the struggle. The staff there is so polite and professional as they asked questions and process me for my appointment so fast and efficiently I was done very fast and got on my ways with ease. Love coming here as the process was very simple and easy along with lots of parking making it less painful to get it done. Thank you!

She offered to call the doctor's office. In meantime I asked her for forms to be filled out since my daughter is a new patient. In the meantime she was to call the doctor's Office. I filled out the forms and gave it back to the receptionist and waited to be called. After about 20 minutes, I went up to the counter to ask for the bathroom key. It wasn't until then the receptionist had told me that she wasn't sure if I wanted to wait. Apparently she called the doctor's Office and there was a message that they were out to lunch and won't be back until 2:00 pm. It wasn't even 1:00 pm yet. I got a little irritates by this thinking and wondering if I hadn't gone up to the counter to ask for the bathroom key, we would have continued to sit there until after 2:00! I felt the receptionist should have at least let me know that she tried calling and that the office wouldn't reopen until after lunch at 2:00. I was pressed for time since I was taking my daughter to get her xrays done, using my lunch break. I ended up leaving and taking my daughter home so I could go back to work. End result was I called and left a message with the doctor's office who the called Hawaii Imaging to call in the paperwork. I ended up taking my daughter after work. Got there at about 4:30 and out in no time after! This place wasn't as crowded as earlier. Highly recommend going later in the afternoon. This location is walk in only. They also validate parking if you park in their lot in the back. I'd recommend calling to make sure they have received your orders from the doctor's office before heading down.

STAFF needs help. For a PET scan, you fast from carbs 24 hours and fast with only water for a LONG time before hand the. day of the PET. Because of this--you CAN get low blood sugar and lightheaded, tired from lack of food and glucose. PET scans use a tagged glucose molecule via direct injection and then you wait a while for it to distribute. They leave you in a nice recliner that has warming features and warm blankets too, so you are comfy waiting-another star there. but then? Here is what I OVERHEARD while I was in the room waiting for the blanket (it's cold in there). I had to get up and ask for it again BTW. 1. They check blood sugar as above due to weakness caused by long fasting...I was old mine was OK, though I didn't see the test done. But someone outside my door, a woman, had a low blood sugar and was symptomatic--feeling faint. The tech, who's name starts with a D, told her her blood sugar rating (low) and then gave her sugar/glucose pills and BLUNTLY told her to "...just take one, most people only need one...just take one!"and WALKED AWAY. He did not monitor her as I heard her voice trail off..."But I feel funny..." He then said something Uncalled for "Just take ONE." (loud) and louder: "You have to be able to walk because I'm NOT carrying you!" Like it was HER FAULT for feeling weak and shaky from low blood sugar? she was VERy anxious, scared...ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS SPEND 2 MINUTES REASSURING HER. He could not be bothered as it is an 'assembly line' there and he RUSHES everyone through. He IS capable, of course. but he has no empathy nor bedside manner--ALL HE IS CONCERNED WITH IS TIME. GET ER DONE. IF this is the fault of over scheduling? Then it is the company's fault and they should slow down. But if he just doesn't care about his patients? Even as a tech, he has a responsibility to patient CARE. not taking TIME, rushing everyone through (I was too and I won't give details but I was shocked)... HE NEEDS EITHER A SLOWER PACED SCHEDULE (company's greed) OR HE NEEDS TO THINK ABOUT WHAT HIS PATIENTS ARE EXPERIENCING. Taking a minute for reassurance? No biggie. Talking WHILE working to put people at ease who are scared or nervous or alone? EASY. Get it together! I felt truly sorry for that woman, as she was simply SCARED. He was RUDE, demeaning, rushed and could have cared less. ONE STAR.
