Is one reason that we need imagine and this is using x-ray as my ankle has been through so much that the doctor wanted to see how things are affected if any and since the Queen's Island Urgent Care doesn't have imagine at its facility I was directed to this location at the Queen's POB 3 (Physician Office Building) and it's located on the busy corner fronting the main hospital. Parking entrance is on Lauhala Street and is automated but Imaging does validate so getting there is fast and easy. Access through the lobby is available a couple of ways...stairs which is very clear and obvious though the elevator wasn't for me as this was my first time and is a very specific one to take as the standard ones that take you to the offices above don't go to imagine so you need to look past that as there's a sign that will tell you this which I missed unfortunately and took the stairs that was quite the struggle. The staff there is so polite and professional as they asked questions and process me for my appointment so fast and efficiently I was done very fast and got on my ways with ease. Love coming here as the process was very simple and easy along with lots of parking making it less painful to get it done. Thank you! read more

Recently, I was assigned to a new PCP who requested current or recent test results from the other medical professionals in my care team. I discussed with my cardiologist about getting a couple of tests that were coming due. Last week, I got an echocardiogram at Queen's Heart, but today, I had an appointment at Queen's Imaging for a CT - Calcium Score. Fortunately, I was able to pre-register telephonically, so all I needed to do was to show up at least 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled appointment. Because the COVID-19 health safety protocols are still in effect, I arrived at the medical center's entrance armed with my ID, Proof of Vaccination, and copy of my appointment. The security receptionist asked me several health questions, scanned my body temperature, and issued me a pass to enter the facility. When I asked her for directions to the Imaging Department, she clearly and easily described the route. It took me a few minutes from the hospital entrance to the Imaging Department, where I had to catch an elevator up one floor, and then I followed the signs which led directly to Queen's Imaging. There was one receptionist behind the counter who assisted with patient check-in (ID, medical insurance, and appointment time). She was friendly and efficient in explaining the consent for treatment document, which I electronically signed, as she returned my ID and medical insurance cards I provided her earlier. Although I arrived 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I had taken a seat in the Imaging Department's lobby for less than 5 minutes when the CT Scan Technician came to escort me to the CT Scan lockers and dressing room. He gave me directions about which garment(s) I needed to remove and that I didn't need to change into a hospital gown. Sorry, I didn't get his name, but the technician was calming and friendly. He asked if I had claustrophobia or difficulty holding my breath which I don't. During the scan, the technician directed me to hold and release my breath three times, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Before I knew it, the technician came out from behind the protective barrier and rolled me out of the machine. The technician told me to expect the test results today, possibly this morning but not later than 4:00 PM. While writing this review, about three hours after my appointment, I received the test results! I am impressed with the professionalism, efficiency, and friendly and upbeat staff at Queen's Imaging. read more

Been going here for the past years for my mammogram. It was very well organized given the COVID situation. The only complaint I have is entering the QMC hospital main entrance. It was very timely, the line was long to get in. I suggest if you get there early in case the line is long, it takes a while to get past that screening. They check your name if you have an appointment before you can get to the temperature check. As far as the Women's Health Center, the technician was very thorough and kind. It was a great experience as always. It was also very clean. I've always wanted to try the spa services and the other things that they offer. read more

I've been here several times taking my family members here for appointments. It's not the easiest finding this place, but once you know that the ground level is called the lobby level and the second floor is actually the first floor, that's one step. The second is to locate an elevator, which there are no signs and not visible from the outside. The nearest one is towards the right side of the valet drop off area. You'll go through the entranceway and around a corner to find the elevators. After going to the first floor, look for signs that says "Imaging," and find the red colored ramp and walk straight ahead. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The waiting room is large and roomy, but dated. For some reason, our appointment was doubled booked, and the room we had to use was occupied. We were told to wait an extra two hours, which was fine. Ten minutes later, they came back and said the room is open. Wow, ok? Now they need to get a physician. It was strange and confusing how that all transpired and suddenly solved. But either way, it all worked out. Another odd thing was the different durations of how long the process will take from different staff members. One said an hour, another 30 minutes, the nurse said very quickly. Ok? We'll listen to the nurse next time as she was right! Coming to the Queen's Labyrinth Medical Center does take a lot out of your concentration and effort, but luckily the Imaging Department isn't too difficult to find. A huge plus is parking the free with validation at both the parking structure and valet. read more

Conveniently located on the ground floor of the Queens Medical Center, hospital side. The QMC is so large it can be a bit overwhelming to find for the first time tho once you do find it you will realize how easy it is. Once you go into the MAIN entrance fronting Punchbowl street it is slightly to the right and right across the coffee kiosk. Staff is friendly and efficient. Services range from ultrasounds to mammograms, massages, facials, etc. Waiting area is large with gentle clear sounding speakers for music. I see others waiting with cups of water in their hand so there must be a dispenser close by. What distracts me is the smell of delicious coffee yet that just might be from the coffee bar outside ! There are a few gifty pampering things on display and available for purchase and to occupy your waiting time. Parking with validation is free, valet or in the lot! Only criticism is that the customer service desks are so close to the waiting area and completely open, when confidential questions are asked, one has to wonder who in the waiting area has heard. I lowered my voice to a whisper in answering and the customer agent then lowered her voice while asking other questions. I appreciate that. Otherwise, soundproofing cubicles would be in order here! read more

Take the Iolani elevator to the 1rst floor and then the imaging department is all the way towards the back. There are signs posted in the hallway and it's not too hard to find. Validation is free so that's helpful and you can register over the phone so all u have to do is sign your paperwork when you arrive. I had two nurses assist me, Aimee and another girl I didn't catch her name but she was a strawberry blonde. BOTH ladies were absolutely amazing and so kind. They gave very clear instructions and helped put me at ease. The doctor was also very nice (Dr. Nquyen?) and everything was done very quickly and efficiently! Had a HIPPA violation at this hospital among many other issues. Staff is rude, dishonest, and they do not provide any type of follow up care upon discharge. When I tried Get issues resolved I had my complaint referred to something known as patient relations however they did not answer my question and then refused to reply whatsoever. I had to get a court order for them to release my child's medical record that they had denied to release. I urge anybody who is going here, beware Additionally they build my insurance for services and testing that were not rendered or done. This place is a scam from hell. read more

Queen's Medical Center has SPA SERVICES? You heard me right! Being pregnant for the last seven months, I've discovered many different, unusual things: a snoogle pillow, a million different types of strollers and carseats, a Keurig-like contraption for baby formula, convertible cribs, and so so so much more. It's a whole new world, people! What do you mean I can get a facial and massage at Queen's and for totally affordable prices? I had to call to check. I spoke with Lan and she was the b-o-m-b dot com. Super sweet and helpful. She advised me she'd have to check with my doc to make sure it was ok to use their services. She went above and beyond to make sure she could get me my massage as soon as possible - I truly heart her. On the day of my massage, I didn't know what to expect - I mean, do you blame me? I'm at a hospital and who knew what their spa services would be like, right? First of all, you can't miss the Women's Health Center in the lobby of the hospital. Sign-in was quick and easy and Lan was waiting for me. (Oh, I felt the love and she made me feel so welcome.) She walked me to the back and showed me the women's dressing room. Now we are not at a four-star spa, but I was pleasantly pleased that there were lockers, a full shower (with all-in-one shampoo/body wash and freakin' awesome water pressure), robes, towels, and a few other amenities. (Could the towels and styrofoam slippers use an upgrade? Sure, but let me remind you, we're at Queen's Medical Center, people!) My massage by Susan was relaxing - let's just put it out there that a prenatal massage (with doctor's permission) is not going to be shiatsu or deep tissue (oh shucks!). I indeed felt very relaxed and felt it was worth my time. The masseuses work once a week, so, for instance, Susan works Mondays. I believe there's four different people that do the massages, so you could probably find someone that fits your needs. In addition, Susan does facials on Mondays - so I look forward to seeing her for that soon. All in all, I hope to bring light to the Women's Health Center for its spa services. Remember, you do not have to be pregnant or a patient to use their services. Prices are just right, at least for me. Did you know Queen's offers spa services? I received a gift certificate for a choice of a massage or facial (valued at $64). There are five types of facials and two massages (Healing and Prenatal). Since my back is always giving me problems, I opted for a Healing Massage. Unfortunately, scheduling an appointment wasn't very easy. I had called numerous times during regular business hours, but no one picked up. When someone finally did, it was an unpleasant experience. The employee was very irritated throughout our conversation because she was having issues with her computer, and it felt like she was taking her anger on me. After about 10 minutes, my appointment was scheduled. The Women's Health Center is located in the lobby immediately to your left when you enter the building. Other than providing spa services, the Women's Health Center also provides clinical services to women (mammogram, biopsy, etc), so it may appear busy when you enter, but most of these ladies are just waiting for their medical appointment. Once I checked in, the employee gave me a feedback form to fill out and an envelop for gratuity that you insert into a box outside the locker room when you finish your service. The locker room is small: there's a few lockers to hold your things and a shower for one person. You're also provided a robe to change into and pair of foam slippers before heading into another waiting room for your masseuse. After meeting my masseuse, I told her to focus on my neck/back because I always have pain there. She did...for a short while. She gave me a full body massage with my back getting the same amount of time as my legs/feet/arms/head. And although it was nice, it wasn't great. The ambiance wasn't too great either. The massage room itself was dark with soothing music in the background to provide a therapeutic experience. However, it wasn't very relaxing because there was construction in the rooms outside. I could hear drilling and pounding throughout my massage. The price is comparable to other spas ($64 for 55 minutes...although I got less than 50 minutes). I could probably get the same experience from a massage chair that I got here. Valet parking is available for $5 or you can get free validated parking in the POB parking lots. TL;DR: If you're new to getting massages, this might be a good place to start with. If you have areas that need more attention or are looking for a specific massage technique, go somewhere else. read more

My Queen's Heathcare Center's imaging equipment was out of service so I had to come here to Imaging at POB3 or go to The Queen's Hospital's Imaging. The first thing the Heathcare personnel told me was the POB3 Imaging in the basement opened at 7:00am. Since this location was more accessible for parking and the opening time allowed me to beat the traffic I went here. But, when I got there the check in receptionist told me the regular x-ray imaging techs didn't start until 8:00am - I could wait or walk over to the hospital. So, I ended up walking to the hospital where, of course, I was completely lost. First, I had to locate the Queen Emma wing. Then, after wandering around disoriented through corridors with too many corners and navigating the maze alone for too many minutes I remembered the ground floor and first floor are two completely different floors. Finally, at Imaging on the first floor, I had to check in with one person, sit and wait, have another person verify information, sit and wait longer. Everyone I encountered from the Heathcare Center to the POB and Queen's Hospital was helpful and pleasant. The facilities are clean and comfortable. But having to go first to the POB and then the Hospital where I felt like a rat in s maze, was forced to deal with the layers of bureaucracy, needy patients, and the seemingly endless waiting, just wore me out. Hated the experience. read more

Quick , great service, good validation basically, I never pay anything when they validate me. Oh! They have available bathroom facilities! There really isn't a whole lot I can say about an Imaging place besides the fact that the workers are nice, I never wait more than a couple of minutes and the parking is free! Waiting too long! I can't see any reason to be kept waiting over an hour for a mammogram! The appointment was scheduled months in advance, and opportunities to reschedule or alert about the backed-up schedule abounded. Hanging out in a hospital ranks nowhere near the top of the list of things I'd choose to do. read more
