My unit remained vacant for three months without a tenant or any discernible progress. My calls went unanswered, and I had to repeatedly contact her via text messages, to which she would typically respond two days later. When I brought my concerns to upper management, she attempted to rectify the situation, but unfortunately, it was beyond repair. Ultimately, I had to terminate the agreement. I then engaged a management company that proved to be exceptionally proactive and communicative. They successfully identified a new tenant within a week, and the tenant moved in the following week. It is truly regrettable to operate and work in such circumstances when one cannot conduct business professionally. I have unfortunately expended my time and resources by placing my trust in a central Florida management company that proved to be untrustworthy.

I called and asked about it and they said it was an oversight. 2 days later they said that they were keeping a portion of the security deposit due to a dirty grill they also said we did not pay for the grill. We were told we would have to pay cash for the grill upon delivery to the home, which we did. We cleaned the grill and returned it in the same condition it was brought to us. Be careful and document the condition of the property and such. They are quick to take your money. In addition to this, the pool heat and Wi-Fi did not work properly. I would highly recommend using a different company! I should also mention I have rented a home in Florida for the last 15 years and this was the first time trying this company. Highly disappointed.

I call to question The credibility of this company currently. A family must pay to replace all items that Peter Chadwick and his wife Debbie was supposed to oversee. This same Peter Chadwick homes of America management company. So either there are two separate entities that need to work together to resolve an atrocious grievance or someone is trying to cover up, either way I will be following up on all avenues until these companies come together and fix their problem.

A property manager lives down the street and came over to our rental to say no visitors after 10pm and that he would come back to do a head count. If zero stars were an option i would have given a zero!…read moreThree years in a row we booked a home here (10 months in advance) for an extended weekend for the half Ironman triathlon race at Haines city. The location to the race is perfect and the homes are exactly the size we needed. The issue is with the new management company that took over, Tropical Escape Vacation Homes. Since they have taken over our reservation has yet to be honored. Last year they tried to cancelled our reservation 1-2 weeks to our arrival date and then after many complaints they tried to push us in a significantly smaller house than what we reserved. Eventually manamagent found us a house at the last minute. Th is year they called us Wednesday night before Thanksgiving to tell us the home we were reserved in had plumbing issues and they needed to cancel. We requested a call back from a supervisor or manager and never heard back. They simply outright cancelled us. They claim the home has plumbing issues but it was available for rent the week before and the week after. Amazing how the predicted plumbing issues are just the weekend we are scheduled to be there. We think they overbooked and the fact that we reserved ten months in advance or are a repeat customer doesn't matter to them. We had to scramble to find a home in another community. Next year we will not even bother trying this one and I suggest others do the same. They are untrustworthy, liars, don't hold to their own contracts, and unreliable.

They set me up to view houses on their MLS site (much more efficient than realtor.com) and we started looking at houses. they didn't care about how much commission they made their goal was to find me the right home, we spent about 5 different days viewing houses until we found the home that was perfect for me. they pulled the comps, we drew up the contract and here I am in my new home. The excuse the owner gave is that the BBQ is an optional extra.Update last night we had a look at the Xbox and there was a very inappropriate picture on one of the profiles what was left on the account. (We have a young child with us) the owners excuse was that we should have deleted it or the previous guest she didn't think that they should have checked it.
