We took our Honda Odyssey in for repairs on the sliding doors and to fix a couple recall issues. They recall issues were fixed no problem, the doors we chose not to fix at this time due to parts being too expensive. HOWEVER: I took my 3 kids in with me and had to wait in their lovely, clean, warm lobby. They had a sweet kids area stocked with toys, books, and a tv with dvd! My kids had fun! I also wanted to give a shout out to DOMINIC! He treated me and my kids so well, with such care and kindness. He realized that we were waiting extra long and gave us a car to drive home! He took the time to explain all of the issues with the doors, gave his best advice, and was clear, honest, and good to us. What a guy!!! We felt like he truly cared, and that's saying something for a car dealership! Would recommend and will return for future repairs. read more

it was a terrible experience I purchased a car here and was told if I have a problem in the first 30 days it would be fixed. That was six months ago. They keep saying there is nothing wrong with my vehicle but all the emergency lights come on every other day and they just go off which is probably a battery or alternator? they say it is not. they told me I have to keep driving it even though sometimes it stalls out, for 2500 miles for more data. The emissions and parking lights came on again on my way home from the dealership last night and they wouldn't answer the phone even though they were open! the alignment is off now it was not before they fixed nothing this is dangerous and they won't answer my calls even when they had the vehicle. when I got it back it was dirty. they do not care and have terrible customer service! how do they stay open and licensed? please help! this is not safe and they don't run a safe or clean busines! read more

Be very careful when reviewing any additional warranties, insurance, or services offered at this dealership. In my experience, the price I was initially quoted for an extended warranty did not match what appeared on the final paperwork, which was very disappointing. Always take the time to read through every document carefully before signing. I was also charged $1,500 for an undercoating service (NanoCure Sound Barrier), but when I inspected my vehicle afterward, the application appeared incomplete, even though the dealership kept my truck for two days. On top of that, the truck I purchased was accidentally damaged by a salesperson while it was being moved out of the showroom, which created additional delays and frustration during the buying process. Overall, the customer service I received did not meet expectations. My concerns did not feel properly addressed, and the overall process took much longer than it should have. Because of these experiences, I would not return to this dealership and cannot recommend it to others. read more

I purchased a certified used car from this dealership in 2019 and have been to the service department on two occasions since. The first time in 2023 when I scheduled an appointment for an oil change, inspection, and free multi point inspection. I chose to remain at the dealership for the early morning appointment which turned into an all day wait without updates only to find that $1400 worth of work was required and could not be completed that day. The second appointment, more recently, was to have a problem with the backup camera diagnosed. I chose to take advantage of the shuttle service in spite of the 7:30 a.m. appointment that would presumably at least diagnose the camera problem by late morning. I received a call from a service advisor around 11:00 a.m. to share that the multi point inspection was complete and that aside from needing new windshield wipers and the cabin filter replaced, the front caliper was stuck. I asked about the backup camera diagnosis and was told the technician had not determined that yet. I asked the service advisor to please let me know as soon as that problem was assessed. At 3:30 p.m. I had not heard back from the advisor and needed to pick up my car. A call to the service advisor determined that my car had been sitting in the shop all day without further work beyond the free multi point inspection because the technician assumed I could keep it there overnight and was assigned to work on other vehicles. He had not yet diagnosed the issue with the camera but assumed it needed to be replaced and ordered the part. I was offered a loaner vehicle to use overnight. After completing the contract for the loaner, I was assured that the gas tank was full and there would be no need to fill it back up before returning the vehicle. I left the dealership in the dark to drive home about 15 miles away only to find the low fuel light on shortly after departing the dealership, no windshield washer fluid to clean the dirty windshield, and the maintenance light flashing. It was a vehicle that called for Clorox wipes for the the entire interior. The summary of my two experiences at the Ira Honda Saco service department leads me to conclude that this dealership either overbooks their service department and is unable to deliver proper service in a timely manner and/or there is a deficiency of experience/expertise to manage the customers they choose to schedule daily. The front line people are very polite, with seemingly good intentions, but on both occasions I heard too many apologies, experienced too many varied quotes on work that was recommended, and got the feeling I was being managed instead of served. To those who choose this dealership service department, I recommend/warn you to plan for extended time waiting for service, slow communication on the diagnosis of problems, and by all means, write down the itemized quotes on any work to which you agree . I no longer trust that customer service is more important than the bottom line for this dealership and will take my vehicles elsewhere in the future. read more

I've owned many Hondas since 1983. My most recent purchase was a new 2021 Honda Pilot Touring. The screen started to flicker while the car was still under warranty. That was July 2023 (20,000 miles). They tried unsuccessfully to fix it and concluded that I needed a new screen. As of this date February 22, 2024 I have not been notified that a new one is available. I have had the car continuously serviced by them, and have raised this issue with them at least four or five times. They have made repeated promises that the part is in transit but nothing so far. They have thanked me for my patience, but now I think they will just thank me for my stupidity. I would caution anyone from doing business with these people. They are all smiles and good times when they take your money but afterwards if something goes wrong you are own your own. They are not good for their commitments. read more

I took my foster child (now a Man) to Ira Honda to purchase a car. I went with him so my husband so we could help him and co-sign for him as he is young and has very little credit. we picked out a car, picked out financing and all was well until I asked about our military discount. My husband is a long term service member, two tours in Vietnam in the Army and then 27 years in Air National Guard. We have purchased several Hondas from Ira Honda and never had a complaint but this time was not good. There are forms required for a military discount called a DD214, I had that with me and that is all that is required by any company we have ever dealt with that offers the discount ($500.00). Ira Honda has changed their process and now we are required to show 3 forms of proof of service. We don't have those, after many discussions with the finance manager we walked out=no car purchase, a big waste of time. I called the state capital location of the Air GUARD TO GET THE FORMS and they don't have them, one of them they never heard of and told me to contact my local Air guard station, I did, they don't call back. I was so mad I thought my head was gonna pop off, what disrespect to a long term militay man. I will never buy another Honda I will Never go there again I will shout this from the roof tops.....very disrespectful company!!!!!! read more

I was there at the door at 7:30 am and on the road around 9 am with my tire patched and my Honda Pilot shiny and clean for the drive back to Pennsylvania! The only reason this is not a 1 star, is because the sales woman (Suzanne) was nice/helpful and made the process semi smooth. With that being said, everything else has been 1 star. As other reviews have said, this dealership does not seem to care about you as a customer AT ALL after you've signed the final papers and drive off the lot. I purchased a used car last month. After having it for 1.5 weeks and needing to put air in one of the tires multiple times, we noticed it had a plug. We called the dealership asking if this was protocol or if they'd replace it. Woman said it was protocol and "too bad." I was not comfortable with this answer and was told by another dealership that I should never have been sold a car with essentially a faulty tire/leaky plug. I called back and asked to speak to a manager, the woman on the phone would not transfer me until I asked 4 times. I have been waiting for a call back from the supposed sales manager, Richard, and have not heard anything. This has been a disheartening experience and I will be sure not to recommend them to anyone else. read more

I'm no expert on the subject, But we spent the whole day there, tried out 2 cars, and decided on the one we liked, and started the process, from the beginning we told them we had outside financing, the finance manager kept sending the salesman back with questions about our interest rates and where we were financing , saying they were gonna get us a better rate (our bank already told us they would beat any rate they offered us cause we have an excellent credit score). After they realized we weren't interested in financing with them, The sales person came back and told us they didn't have the title and they couldn't do anything with the car. Then to top it off, they said they could hold the car with a 500$ deposit. Like I said I'm no expert and I can't imagine to what benefit it would be to them for us to finance there. read more
