A charming food truck in a gas station, with great falafel and a heavy dose of Middle eastern hospitality. Falafel is a street food, so the setting hits just right. The flavors are bang on. Everything is very fresh. The falafel plate was an excellent value, a lot of food for less than $20 -- crispy falafel, hummus, fries, salad, pickles, tahini, baguette. Yummmmmm! It seems they also offer shawarma on certain days (Sunday to Tuesday I think?) and cater events.

Hidden gem in the area. Falafels are always made fresh but his best item imo is the Beef Shawarma sandwich. Served in an airy French baguette. Better than other shawarma places I've tried (house of falafel/falafel drive in). Mohammed only makes them Friday-Sunday, well worth the wait. Prices affordable and always give a decent quantity.

Falafel was so yum. Chef gave me a sample to try while I waited, which I appreciated. The meal really filled me up and it was so good!

The falafel sandwich was fantastic! I've never had Iraqi style before, but I came with a delicious sauce.

DAM this place is good!…read more I would 100% come back, their fries were solid and would come back to try their rice. Their Naan too fresh and it was fluffy while having a nice bite too it. The whole plate is fresh. My friend said the hummus was nothing like he's had before. Service was super great too, the owner let me park in off spot cause of how some drivers were to nicely put it bad at parking. Parking for sure can get very packed. Place was super lively and service was quite fast. They were super friendly with giving recommendations too.

There was already a line at opening, but service was relatively efficient and I got my falafel pita not long after I paid at the counter. The seating seems to have been refreshed since last time, and the indoor and outdoor benches were clean and plentiful. I got my go to falafel pita, which is the perfect amount of food for a light lunch - the falafel is nice and hot, with a light crisp and soft interior, and the hummus perfectly brings all the veggies and falafel together - I do feel like they don't stuff as much or as many types of veggies and pickles inside as they did before, but it's still tasty and a good deal for $11. Falafel STOP has been an institution for a long time, and it's definitely still a neighborhood staple and my go to for whenever I'm craving a falafel pita!

SAJJ Mediterranean is a good place to get consistent, filling meals at typically-reasonable prices…read more I'm happy there is a fast-casual chain with many halal options. Since I typically order takeout, I haven't spent much time inside the restaurant. But I do like the clean, tasteful aesthetic. I also appreciate the staff, both for their friendliness and promptness. I've tried various meats and enjoyed them all; my favorites are the Pomegranate Chicken and Steak Shawarma. It's cool to see Döner Kebab on the menu, too. The different entrée types have varying portion sizes and levels of customization. My preferred type is the Plate, because of the balance of protein, carbs, & veggies. But I think most would like the options & size of the Bowl. On the more critical side, I do not think the Wrap Bites are worthwhile. The form factor & taste are good, but the portions are lacking. I'm also not a fan of the fries and wish I could swap with other sides. Some other thoughts on the menu. Entrées let you add on a lentil soup cup for free, so don't forget it! What you should forget about is the Dubai Chocolate... even if it's "cheap" relative to others, it's just not that good. Finally, if you plan to come here more than once, it's worth creating a free account. You can get some good discounts, including frequent Buy One Get One (BOGO) deals on the entrées. This, plus the consistency & options, make me return to SAJJ even if not the objective "best" Mediterranean in the area.
