Both were friendly, courteous, and extremely professional. They quickly located the issue, opened the drywall cleanly, and found the leak. They then ran a new line from my water heater to the main manifold I had already exposed in my closet. The entire repair was done efficiently, and I had hot water restored within two hours. They kept the work area tidy and left me with only minimal drywall repair to take care of afterward. Overall, excellent service -- fast, honest, and skilled. I would never use this company if you want your job done correctly or even finished. Please avoid at all costs. You never want to hear I told you so. I called and I spoke with Vanessa who said she would like someone to come out and look at the job prior to giving me a price. TJ came out to look at the job and told Vanessa what needed to be done. 8 bathroom faucets, 1 kitchen faucet, 5 toilets, 8 sink drains with vents, 1 garbage disposal and 4 shower trims. This also included moving 1 diverter forward. She called me a few days later and gave me a price. I agreed to the price she quoted. She gave me a price based on the work I described above. She said it should take 6 hours. I scheduled a date to come out and complete the work. They came a few weeks later to the job. By then I had already installed the & faucets. So they didn't have to do those. I wasn't offered a credit. They installed 5 toilets ( one of the toilets I am not sure if it's even installed properly as I found parts covered in the trash) very suspicious as to why no one said anything to me, see picture, 1 garbage disposal, 1 kitchen faucet, moved a diverter, and installed 4 ptraps with 3 guys. 6 hours passed and TJ tells me we are at the 6 hour mark. I said ok. What does that mean. He said it going to be 150.00 an hour now. I said what. Vanessa gave me a fixed price. Vanessa calls and says do you want them to continue to work and finish. I said well I want them to finish what we agreed to for the "fixed" price. They stayed another hour and I helped TJ lift a free standing tub into place as it was connected to the drain. One of the workers complained how he didn't know how to install the toilets. TJ had to stop each time he was doing something to help the other guys complete or finish the task. Needless to say the job was never completed. I still have 4 more ptraps to install with vents. The kitchen faucet doesn't go back in the holder because the vent TJ installed hits the weight (picture attached) . When the job was completed she demanded payment without an invoice. I told her I have a two hour drive back. After hours of text threats and 10 missed calls I received the invoice and paid it once I arrived home. I have sent a text message and 2 emails a few days ago to correct and finish the problems and I have been ignored. I am going to dispute the charge. You have been warned. All I wanted was to have this fixed and completely properly. I would recommend Oliver plumbing. They came to finish the p-traps and finish the other issues. read more

IRC Leak Detection & Plumbing re-plumbed our existing underground water lines with new water lines. The re-plumbing also included replacement of the old water heater with a new one even though the old water heater worked perfectly. During the re-piping the contractor forgot to connect the water line to the left side exterior hose bib. Seven months after the re-installation, in addition to the previous problem, when the contractor did not connect the plumbing to the left outer bib, the new heater installed by IRC burned out. According to warranty the contractor has to repair the broken heater but IRC refused to service us at this time. We called the heater manufacturer and AO Smith representative said they have no information about when and where the heater was purchased. However, AO Smith agreed to replace it. During the inspection, the representative said that not only the heater was broken, but the heater damaged the main electrical panel and before installing a new heater, we must fix the switchboard. The new heater is much larger than the old one and when installed, was blocking access to the electrical panel built into the wall of the utility room. Electricians couldn't open the fuse box because the heater was installed directly in front of the panel and is about 2 inches from the switchboard. Electricians refused to work because they couldn't open the box door. It means that we have to move the heater to another location. IRC had refused to solve the problem. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE- DO NO USE! This is the first time I've ever left a negative review online thats how bad they were. If your warranty company chooses to use them tell them you want someone else! Our warranty company sent them out to replace our water heater. Simple job right.. The plumber that came out put it in, left my wife a message that she needs to call an electrician due to arching sounds then left. Their claim was our electrical whip was faulty all along and when they installed it it started arching with the new heater and we need to pay an electrician $100s to put a new one in. So how could that be since our last water heater didnt arch...? The old water heater worked perfectly for 10 years until it started to leak. Thankfully I have a 20 year electrician friend that looked at it and instantly could see that it was caused to the plumber not wiring to the heater correctly. This caused burning and cuts in the wire that were very obvious. New wipe put in and 20 minutes later we were good to go. To add on top of this they installed a pan that is too small instead of one the same size as the last one. It looks ridiculous and you can see the subfloor under our flooring - how can someone just leave this? And the plumber put a hole in our wall and when the office manager asked his responses was "I dont remember doing that"- then how did the hole get there?? One final complaint - the lady on the phone was completely unhelpful. When asking about the pan she keep saying we tried to call you to tell you, and for some reason my response that my wife works in a hospital and cant be distracted by personal calls and I work long hours constantly on the phone wasn't acceptible to her. IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY PEOPLE PAY YOU TO MAKE THE SMART DECISIONS FOR THEM not make excuses like you wouldn't answer your phone. We recently experienced serious water leak in laundry room of our home built in 1987. We called several plumbers in area of which most either didn't return calls or couldn't come out for days. IRC Leak came out same day, determined the old copper pipes needed replaced which we assumed would be the case. They provided same day quote, very detailed. When we saw water on the floor we immediately shut off the water and got out the yellow pages. Each plumber we called said they could come look at the leak in a couple of weeks and repair it in a couple of months. We called IRC and Tom came the next day and found the leak and provided us our options. We decided the house would need a complete re-piping just like all of the other homes in our community. I had a leak in my house (under slab) and its consuming 1.7GPM. I called IRC and Vanessa sent TJ to check it. Prior to calling I know its best to re-pipe my old house. Excellent service. We were having trouble installing a new kitchen sink and called IRC Plumbing for some information. After sending a few photo's of our problem, they assured us they would have it installed and working perfectly in no time. Had an increase over the past couple of years in the number of galllons per month. This last bill came in showing I used 8000 gallons of h2o. I live alone, wash laundry once a week, shower once a day and hand wash dishes most of the time. I replaced the flappers in my 2 bathrooms but still the meter showed as running. I called IRC Leak and they had someone here in a couple of hours. One of the brothers discovered a very slight leak in my toilet fill valve. Once they replaced it, the meter stopped running. They helped me avoid my biggest nightmare of having to dig up the foundation. The brothers were professional, personable' pleasant. I would never recommend this company for any reason. They were the absolute worst experience I've had throughout an entire home remodel. I have gutted my home and had multiple contractors here and by far they are the worst. Vanessa was extremely rude and condescending. After delivering a tub to my home that had a crack in it, I asked to swap it out for one that wasn't cracked which she agreed to. My ask was to get on her schedule as soon as possible because the delay of the cracked tub was holding up 3 other contractors coming in behind this project and doing work so I now had to push them all out too. For whatever reason, Vanessa decided she didn't even want to work with me so she contacted another contractor working in my home and told him they weren't coming but didn't bother to call me directly. Once I called her, there was no willingness to help, no let me see what I can do instead I was told that they just weren't going to work with me and then that IF she could get me on the schedule next week I wouldn't be a priority so if an emergency came up I would get bumped. She just didn't think they could meet my tight timeline (even though she had just told me they had openings next week), my timeline by the way was me saying "please just get me in as soon as possible" Literally the worst customer service, I too work in sales and provide customer service day to day and wow I would never speak to clients like Vanessa seems to think is acceptable but then again I pride myself in what I do, clearly these people don't. If you want to be treated like crap then this is the company for you. I have multiple other plumbing projects and will never even think about using IRC. I also work very closely with a well known custom home builder in the area who has committed to never use them either after seeing how they responded to this situation- their actions speak for themselves. read more
