OVERPRICED! Way more $ per hour than a heart surgeon. They charged $767 for less than an hour's work to replace shutoff valves and $400 for a 20 min job to clear a drain. Oh and they left a nice sized hole in the wall. I know now that they are the worst possible option in the area. read more

Had two flappers and two fillers replaced. Technician arrived a little after 8:30am, work completed at 9:25am.....$636.52. I understand expertise and parts have a price but I've hired Lawyers that didn't make $500/hr. When I called the office and spoke to a Jennifer to ask for a price breakdown I got stonewalled and the runaround, "Well we aren't the lowest bidder, nor do we have handyman prices, we have over 1000 years of plumbing experience..." blah blah blah, so I have to pay for the WHOLE 1000 years?!?! They estimated possibly $400 to do a toilet flange repair and actually charged $750. The tablet they have you sign on is misleading regarding the amount they were actually charging. I understood they were charging me $400, which was punishing enough, but when the invoice appeared in my mailbox came in at $750, way over-charging for their services. Ouch! (Should have referenced the review by Mike M. on May 30, 2025. $750 for less than a 20 minutes of repair time and the initial repair was done incorrectly, causing the toilet to flood, me to do emergency cleanup, and all the additional work and delay of setting up a second visit (under warranty) with all its associated disruptions. Going forward, I will definitely look elsewhere for my plumbing needs. read more

I had a hose stuck on the spigot, and when I tried to take the hose off the spigot, it turned. A week later, I noticed some water on the interior wall outside of the spigot location. Sun Plumbing determined that I needed a leak detection company that they would refer to me. And I would possibly need the entire house to be re- plumbed. They also said the leak detection person would not be available for another week. I called my contractor and her plumber came out the next day and fixed it. It was just the hose spigot leaking. I DODGED THAT BULLET !!!! Sun Plumbing was creating an issue that didn't exist. Thank goodness my contractor had a competent plumber to help me!!! read more

My situation should have been to replace my broken hot water heater with a comparable one, paying for labor only per my warranty with Rheem. I called Sun Plumbing and a lady asked for the number on the old heater. She said they had one that would work. I know nothing about hot water heaters, so I was thinking that from the number I gave her, it would be around the same cost as the one I had. When I went to home Depot my warranty only allowed $414.00. pro rated use they said. They told me new ones like the one I had costs around $500.00. So two things I am mad about is a new Rheem hot water heater that I had installed in January of 2021 is already broken, and Sun Plumbing sending out a new one " that would work." Sun Plumbing charged me $1737.45 the new heater. And that was with a 10 percent discount. My total bill from them was $2286.99. I called Sun Plumbing and they told me a manager would call me. That did not happen. A new heater on line like the one they installed listed for $1018.00. Be very careful if use this company. read more

They sent out an awesome guy named, Phil (I'm going to ask for him by name because he was SO HELPFUL). He helped me figure out what I could do on my own and what he'd need to do. I called Sun Plumbing early morning to repair a stuck shower hot water valve. I have used Sun in the past. The earliest they could get to it was an appointment seven days later. I called another plumber who was able to schedule it that afternoon. If you are in a hurry, this experience indicates Sun is apparently too busy to provide timely service. read more

We have used Sun Plumbing for some years and yesterday's visit helps explain my 5 stars. Nobody likes a backed up sewer line from your house to the main line near the street! A super job by Jeff in getting it all cleared out. He was very careful about my wife's plants near the clean out, extremely cheerful (and he'd already put in a full day) and explained what he was doing, how far his "snake" had gone and so forth. I HIGHLY recommend asking for Jeff for any work you need one. Of course, we've never been disappointed by any of the plumbing techs sent out. I think their prices are fair. Could you find cheaper? This last visit I had from them was not good.. Plumber could not find the slab leak and charged me $323 and left still having a leak below the slab.. New plumber came from another company. Found 2 leaks in 15 min with a leak detector.. One was 5 feet away from the other leak. Second was a pipe below the kitchen sink... All together he had to replace 5 feet of pipe...Sun plumbing guy kept saying it's under the tub or in the dinning room.. The new plumber laughed.. He goes unreal this was an easy find... And was half of what Sun Plumbing charged.. He was done in 2 hrs 50 min. Will never use Sun again.. read more

Gorgeous. The garden faucet was leaking. I called Sun Plumbing recommended from our neighbour a cross the street. I was very surprised the lady at the phone asked me the plumber would be at our house in 30 minutes. Sure, great. Jeff did a great job and very quick. Replaced the faucet with a new one. Ok. the price was appr. $ 150.- but important was, that the faucet no more leaked. read more

Great Technician who came out to run a camera through our pipes but forget about "timely" service! After having a tech out here several months ago who gave me a diagnosis on our house plumbing "clogging up regularly" issue it is impossible to get anyone here for any type of emergency in a timely manner--2 times after that when we had a leak from our kitchen sink (I had to keep a bucket under it) and when our whole house got clogged up again (resulting in NO working toilets) the "GATE-KEEPER" could not schedule ANYONE out for at LEAST 3 days (on both occasions so I gave up and went with another plumber)!! Would like to see her in a house without a toilet for 3 days. Very disgusted because the actual tech was very knowledgable but scheduling stinks so he can't see the issue when the problem arises which makes me wonder if he is still even there. read more
