LOTS of Mets memorabilia inside--the place is like a shrine to them. This isn't a criticism but the ice cream here is pre-made, from a company called Perry's, which we had never heard of. Personally, we'd rather just get something from a store at that point since the whole joy of getting ice cream at a small mom-and-pop place is that it's homemade. Anyway, nothing we had was bad: our daughter's "lightning" one was probably the best: super dark chocolate with a peppermint swirl; the cannoli was meh, and the raspberry chocolate was pretty good. Don't bother getting sprinkles here since they use a shaker and only a few will actually end up on your ice cream. The older woman working was efficient but not particularly warm and didn't seem all that pleased to be there. At the end of the day, we were happy to support a local business, but next time we'll get our frozen treats elsewhere.

I'm not even sure the burger was made with real beef. I'd bet they ran out of beef too and gave me a soy burger. It was the driest most pathetic burger I have ever eaten in my 55 years and trust me I've eaten many. The drinks were tasty but I think they forgot to put alcohol in them or maybe they just aren't good at anything. With food this bad they really should get their patrons good and drink before feeding them. Seventy dollar lunch and it wasn't even worthy of boxing up and taking home for the dog.
