Great service first off. I like that they leave a bottle of water at the table so you dont have to flag down anyone for a refill! They should just be a bit more observant of the bottles in need of a refill. The food was all delicious! I had the ribs and now I see that I had them the last 2 x I was here! Well still very tasty, tender and fall off the bone delicious! The fingerlings were a nice touch as was the huge 1/2 roasted carrot. Had roasted brussels sprouts as a side which were charred nicely and seasoned perfectly.

    Excellent chicken Milanese!!

Always delicious food and excellent service!!! Normally get the half chicken which is incredible but today we got the chicken Milanese. It was wonderful!!

Ambiance was a throw back to yesterday but classy. Outside looks dutchy and the have a Biergarten out back. Fish and chips was amazing. Fish was flaky & crispy outside. French fries straws were good. My chicken was juicy and skin crispy. Mash potatoes were real and buttery. Burger was a little over done but I think my son said well done by mistake. We told him next time say, medium. Overall, good meal. Waitress Mary was gem! She's attentive and so sweet. We made reservations but got there early and they seated us right away. Call ahead.

You never get a second chance for a first impression. I ordered take out and when I walked in to pick up the young lady at the front looked the other way and went over to have a conversation with the bar tender. There were 4 people in the bar. I stood and waited. The bar tender finally pointed at me and she turned to acknowledge me. $23+ for 2 pieces of fish and seriously about 20 French fries that were not fresh. No napkins, no utensils, one small tarter. To their credit the fish was good but the front of house person Leaving me standing left a taste in my mouth 2 pieces of fish couldn't overcome.

We were in the area staying at a hotel when we came to find this place. Happens to be a hole in the wall. Ambiance to start is very warm and homey. Staff and service was incredibly bright, kind and fast. Corn dip was average but when eating it with Tabasco it becomes. 10/10 We came on wing night so wings were 10 for 10 dollars and were they huge and juicy. 10/10 for taste and for value. Burger was tender and thick. Overall this place deserves 5 stars.

Came to this town for a wedding. The chicken wings were tiny and flavor was meh. But the entrees were pretty good. When we came and mentioned we had a large party. I heard the waitress say they do not know if the kitchen can handle. But there weren't that many people to begin with. The ambience is nice. My food and a few friends were good. But one of our friends burger was so burnt black and somehow they still served it. He says it's too burnt and the waitress asked are you sure you don't want it. The waitress was super sweet but the question about the burger was redundant. No one will eat a burnt burger. Def recommend here for any people passing by this town.

Came for lunch. They have both indoor and deck seating as of August 2022. I tried the Caesar salad, fish and chips and salmon came. The fish in the fish and chips could have been crispier, but the salmon cake was absolutely amazing. Solid meal overall!

This is the stake frites! For $32 I would think it'd come lnicer rather than dumped into a to-go box!!!! The food IS good though!

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, especially during the fall and winter. Sitting outside around the massive fire pit with a drink in hand is one of my favorite experiences. The restaurant itself is elegant yet cozy, and the entire property is stunning, with luxury cabins, a spa, and breathtaking surroundings that make it a perfect getaway--especially for visitors coming from New York City. The food is consistently outstanding. Every dish is beautifully prepared, the cocktails are excellent, and while the portions are on the gourmet side, the quality more than justifies the price. It is definitely a splurge for locals, but it's worth it for a special occasion or when you're looking for an exceptional dining experience. Even though they don't offer a kids' menu, it's never been an issue for us. My 6-year-old loves the food and actually asks to celebrate her birthday there, which says a lot! Parking is easy with a large lot and complimentary valet service, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for outstanding farm-to-table cuisine, beautiful scenery, and a memorable dining experience in the Hudson Valley, I highly recommend Clay at Wildflower Farms. It's a place we happily return to again and again.

The drive is a little questionable depending on which direction you come from lol, at some points you are literally at the edge of the mountain but it was all worth it for the ambiance and views once we got to Wildflower Farms. Now the reason I knocked off 2 stars was because of a miscommunication in our reservation regarding allergies. The night before our reservation they called to confirm the time, number of guests, and the allergies listed on the reservation. I am allergic to treenuts and they served both Burrata and Radicchio salad with the nuts on/in it. Good thing I noticed as well as another girl in my party that they hadn't been removed. Once notified the staff quickly removed it and made a new one fresh without nuts. The manager additionally came over and profusely apologized. My issue is, why confirm our allergies the night before if it is disregarded the day of. They even gave us a discount and only charged $115/pp. However, that doesn't fix the problem if I had ingested either of those dishes, what would have happened. Other than those 2 slip ups. The food was tasty and felt homecooked. The rolls were hot and buttery, the salted whipped butter was a nice touch. The pork meatballs were tender and juicy. I think out of the mains my favorite was the fish curry. Cocktails are NYC prices. Portion sizes were small and we left feeling hungry. Presentation is nice and it gives you that fine dining vibe.

We were tucked away in an indoor/outdoor area with gorgeous orange comfy chairs. We did not come in with a reservation. Again this place was a stumbled upon gem. We looked online for a nice place to go for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. He loves moose and we love farm to table food. The server helped us decide what to get for drinks, both delicious. The food.....holy cow. Heavenly. Our two meals tasted so vastly different so it was great that we were each able to sample the other's and they were both SO tasty. We asked our server for a special dessert for his birthday, she asked if we liked bananas and we enthusiastically said yes. Next thing we know, this decadent warm banana and caramel creation is coming towards us with a giant sparkler. This was probably hands down....one of the best desserts I have ever had in my life. I would make the trip back up here solely for that! Should we ever find ourselves back up in the Catskills, this will ABSOLUTELY be on our list of places to revisit.

Just make sure to connect to the Wi-Fi when you arrive because there is absolutely no cell service! The bread and butter were divine! The butter could have been a little warmer, but the bread itself was fluffy, light, and packed with salty, garlicky flavor. I could have easily kept eating it! The gnocchi was just alright and probably wouldn't be something I'd order again. It wasn't very firm and tended to stick together with the other pieces. The steak, on the other hand, was incredible! It was tender, juicy, and cooked beautifully. The crispy vegetables paired really well with the steak and added a nice texture to the dish. We ended up ordering more bread, and I loved it so much that I took some home to enjoy for breakfast the next morning! Overall, a beautiful spot with a romantic ambiance and some standout dishes.
