HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I looked on yelp for reviews and thought wow this place looks great. My phone was in PERFECT condition besides the cracked screen. -The cracked screen was the only thing I needed to fix- I went Monday and they charge 60 something which was not bad at all. I came back picked up the phone . Here is exactly what was wrong with my phone after I got it fixed: -I could not receive or call someone. (I could not hear them they could not hear me) -I would take a video and no audio would play -I could not face time -no voice recording -I could not see most txt messages - The selfie camera was completely BLURRY So I thought "Hey I'll take it back because they gave me "insurance " and they will fix it no problem " I went back and the guy said that all those problems WERE MY FAULT?!?!?!?!!!?! MY FAULT HOW if I GAVE YOU THE PHONE IN PERFECT CONDITION!!! BESIDES THE SCREEEEENNN!! It made ZERO SENSE !! Their "insurance" did not cover it . I even spoke to the boss and he said the same exact thing !! -_- All he tried to do was sell me other things . Their solution: Not only will we refund you your money, we will not fix the rest of the problems they we caused, but we are going to put YOUR CRACKED SCREEN RIGHT BACK ON !!!! WAT IS THAT!!!!! I posted this review earlier but store owner attempted to take it down. This is my experience at the South El Monte store on March 4, 2019. The truth about this place must be shared so all consumers are protected. This place is awful. This is the longest review I've ever written and for good reason. I don't like leaving 1-star reviews unless I think the place is being shady and underhanded with its customers. This place is far from professional as its Yelp page claims, as it engages in bait and switch pricing and deceptive business practices with its potential customers. In addition, they violate Yelp's terms of service by attempting to give you reduced pricing in exchange for a 5-star Yelp review, regardless of how deceptive their pricing and business practices are to begin with or how awful their service is. Today I used Yelp's internal messaging feature to ask "iRepairPhone" for the following pricing on my iPhone 6 at their El Monte and Monrovia store locations. They said they would also honor the warranty at any of there other locations, including Walnut, Rosemead, Monrovia, Hacienda Heights, and Placentia - but doubt it since they won't give you anything in writing showing the purchase (more on that below). They both quoted me as follows (after I use Yelp's "Check-in" feature): Screen ($40-aftermarket/$60 OEM) Battery ($35) and Off/On Button ($30) Total of $105/$125 depending on the screen. And the email said it came with a 90-day warranty allegedly valid at any of their 6 "iRepairPhone" locations, including El Monte and Monrovia. After receiving the quote I walked in and the tech was sipping tea and watching TV as no one else was in the store. When I told him about the pricing I received he told me "no" the aftermarket screen was now $50 and OEM was $70, and the battery was $40. I insisted that was not what I was told and attempted to show him, but he took the phone out of my hand to examine it, and after insisting he let me show him the email, he finally relented and said "okay, okay $125." When he finished working on the phone, he asked me to test it out and see if it worked properly, and asked to see my phone again. He then opened up the Yelp app on my phone (without asking for permission) and found his business, pushed the 5-stars, and insisted I write him a 5 star review. First, the deal was if I "checked-in" they would give discounted pricing - not a 5-star review. Such a practice would violate Yelp's terms of service and would result in a business receiving an inflated star rating by buying off customers who may actually have legitimate complaints. Second, how could I give 5-stars to a business when the transaction was not even completed yet and the product could still have issues later on? It gets worse, I tried to pay with my credit card. Then he said $125 was the cash price, and that for a credit price he would have to charge me an additional $15. What??? There was no mention of a cash price versus a credit price anywhere in the quote. I assumed CC merchant fees were the reason, so I said fine I would get some additional cash to pay. So I drove all the way to an ATM to pull out some more money. I returned and paid him $125 cash, he then pushed a button on his cash register, threw the cash in the drawer and turned his back on me to start working on another phone. Wait, what? So I asked him for a receipt, and he said "okay" and picked up a piece of paper that was not a receipt and then simply said "no more" and continued to work. I was stunned that he just ignored me and continued to work. As a consumer, and as a business that claims to be professional and that offers a 90-day warranty, how can I expect you to honor it if there is no receipt, no writing to show that I even made a purchase, and no record of the sale even made at the register. You should not pay more for a service because you are paying with credit v. cash. After ignoring me as he continued to work, and hoping I would leave, I said again I needed a receipt in case I needed to come back for warranty work. He insisted that I could not get a receipt (I still don't have one), but instead took out a card entitled "warranty card" and filled it out, and handed it to me. He never even filled in his name to identify himself as the tech who did the work. When he handed me the warranty card, he then stuck his hand out in my direction and insisted I let him see my phone. I said why? I already paid you, what else do you want? He responded "you need to leave a 5-star review on Yelp! I want to check it." Why on Earth would I give him a 5-star review after all of this BS he apparently has no problem putting people through. After a giving him a "ppffsshh" I just walked out the door. I hope the irony of his conduct is not lost on him - this 1-star review is thoroughly deserved. read more

IRepair was quick on repairing my cracked screen on my iphone. It only took 10 minutes to repair.

I brought in my IPad 7 glass to get replaced. $140 was the total for the replacement. I think it was a reasonable price for replacement of the glass only considering it's a fairly new model. The only complaint I do have is that when I picked it up my ipad was really dirty, there was a few dents and scuff marks to the metal part (which were not there before) and the home button is loose. I had quick response time when I asked for a quote to fix our iPad. It was the cheapest quote I had and decided to take it in. When I picked up the iPad the next day (it was ready within a few hours though) the iPad had pretty deep, new scratches and scuffs on the corners that weren't there before. Like he struggled with the tools to lift and replace it. The screen was cracked when I took it in but it had been in a case (protecting the edges) so it didn't have damage like that when I took it in. I was given the "fixed" iPad with a protective film on it. I didn't want to take it off till I got a protective glass to prevent cracking again. It isn't till I took off the film later to apply the glass that I could see the new screen that was put on wasn't cleaned from the back, so there are markings that can't be wiped from the top of the screen. It would have to be cleaned and reapplied. read more

I came in to fix my iPhone 11 screen on 10/09 and thought all was well. I found out on the same day that my screen would turn on to a blank screen and I would have to lock and unlock for it to properly turn on. I messaged the guy and he said I could bring it back so I did. He couldn't find out what the issue was so he just replaced the screen again. However, the issue still occurred AND I found a weird glitch on the left side of my screen when I open different apps. I contacted the guy again via Yelp, told him the issues and he said he would take a look. I brought in my phone today and a different guy was there. I explained the situation, only for him to tell me that it was an operating system error and he was saying it was because of the latest iOS update. I know that's BS because I made sure that this was NOT an issue by comparing it to another iPhone 11 with the same iOS version before I inquired again. He was very dismissive and said that if he changed the screen, it would do the same thing. He also told me that the warranty was 90 days, which is fine, but was adamant about it NOT being a problem. I communicated the issues I was experiencing through Yelp. You could have communicated that through Yelp instead of making me waste a trip down there. I've been back multiple times now without a properly functioning phone -- at this point. I would rather have my old broken screen again. read more
