Background On Visit: Work sent me out to find a third party shop to replace the charging port ($50) and battery ($40) of an old iphone 7. Originally I went to Dr. Cellular to see if they could take last minute appointments. I called the number and Larry, the owner, picked up. He said that there was no last minute appt at the shop and told me to go to iRepair in South El Monte if I wanted to get my phone fixed right away. Mission Statement: To complete each repair in a quick, efficient manner, making as painless for you as possible. We also complete most repairs SAME DAY. Services Offered: Services range from your common screen repair to the most complicated cases of water damaged phones. We fix a wide array of devices: Apple Samsung Nokia Motorola LG If you need a repair, we are more than happy to provide our services. No appointments needed. Credit Cards: They're accepted, but remember that they'll charge you tax. If you don't want to be charge tax, pay with CASH! Location/Parking: Located in the same plaza as Mr. Baguette, Garcias Fruits, and Pho Hai. Decent amount of parking stalls for all. Order of Operations 1) Wait patiently outside and someone inside will come to greet you. 2) State what phone issues you have and he'll do a diagnostic to see what else is wrong. 3) He'll come back with what issues there are with the phone and will tell you how much the damage (cost) will be and the wait time to pick up your phone. 4) Do the transaction and then go home happy with your fixed phone and 90 day warranty card! Repair For Thought: I had a wonderful experience. Li (technician) was very nice, friendly, and attentive. He was true to his word and was able to pick up the phone within 50 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place if you guys need to get your phone repaired.

I had my son LCD screen change on Nov 8 coz its broken. When i call the guy said $120 but never told me its an after market. They told me $120 is for after market coz original is $200. Since im on a budget i agree on an aftermarket. After a week its doing no good then on the 12th day screen is totally gone ! The guy who fix it is kinda shady. I have also my other phone change battery and he said its original but apple notification says its not. So its a big BS what he said. I have it change coz its easily get lowbat but it still the same ! Do not go to this place. There product are worst than a crappy. Replied comment to the owner: There is no crack on the phone physically. You might be blind or you just say that to avoid admitting your technician is doing a bad job and the LCD your technician puts in is worst than a crap. The battery also that your technician puts in on the iphone SE is not original which were opposite on what he said. I have 2 phones brought in on that day, iphone 11 pro max and iphone SE.

Even though the name is IRepair, they are able to fix IPhones & Androids. I used the "request a quote" button and they responded quickly. I needed my Samsung S8 screen repaired, and they were able to fix it in a couple of hours. It gave me time to get some errands done and come back for it. Got a quote via Yelp. Have to make sure you get it in writing and hold them to that standard. I had two devices that needed repair. Needless to say arrive at 11:15 or so they next day as I committed to. Spoke to Jerry. I value my time more than money and I had to wait a little for one of my devices to charge in order to ensure that it was working properly. No big deal as i had other errands to run. Jerry told me it would take about two hours but the way things were looking it would be an hour. Either way when I arrived roughly at two, only one device was ready and I had to wait for another. I got out of his offices at about 2:45, obviously more than the two hours Jerry said. You know what though, I'm not complaining, giving it five stars is well deserved. The money i saved overall was worth my time. I will be back. Thanks Jerry! read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Both my sister and dad had came to get their phone screens fixed (two separate times) both of them ended up having to get their phones fixed AGAIN. We came back to him and he wouldn't bother giving us a discount or honoring the warranty. It hadn't even been a month. You're better off going somewhere else. read more

I'm really glad I found this place because the service was EXCELLENT. I got a new phone and ended up getting the SIM card stuck and spent a couple of hours trying to remove it myself without success. On Youtube the suggested way to do it required taking the phone apart and I didn't want to do that, so I went in to iRepair and he was able to help me with it in just a few minutes. I found this repair shop after I had tripped and cracked my phone screen. I went in the following day and they repaired my screen for $60 because I wanted the OEM screen. It would have been $40 for an aftermarket screen. He was really nice and explained the difference between the two options. It took no longer than 20 minutes and I was out of there with a perfect screen replacement and he throws in a screen protector, as well. read more

I have come here to fix my phone's screen two times before, and other times accompanying somebody else. The first time I was satisfied with the finished new screen. However, the second time around the screen's functionality is out of touch. I don't know where they get the screens from; I had not seen the workers that were there before. When I entered the shop the young woman was on top of the dude getting frisky on the couch that's for customers to sit down. I decided to sit on one of the stools. After somebody else came in and sat on the couch, which made me cringe inside wondering what else has gone on there. Needless to say I will go to another shop the next I need a repair. Indeed, I tried to make the blinking stop by unplugging the charger and then plugging it back in. After that, it was still blinking and never stopped. I asked my uncle to help me fix the problem by unscrewing the bottom layer of the laptop and see if the battery was OK or not. Enough with my experiences at home. As requested, my uncle decided to hire my stepmother to help me fix my MacBook before it's too late. At the beginning of May, the day had come to send my device to the iFixForU shop where only 2 boys were working. My stepmother asked one of the workers to see if they wouldn't mind fixing my device. But instead, they accused me of ruining my device by adding one last sentence "nobody's gonna help you", which sounded like my life is already over. I'm sorry, but that treatment they gave me was unfair and unacceptable, and I have never trusted that smile the worker had; it's humiliating. Having had enough, I can tell that their service didn't do me a favor, so I had no choice but to send my MacBook to Di-No Computers in the following month. Since I vowed never to visit that shop again, the technicians working for iFixForU get 2 choices: Improve their treatment or get fired. Suddenly, the volume button also stopped working, which meant she couldn't restart the phone at all when the screen froze. We were looking for a bare minimum solution, to have the old phone be functional long enough to transfer her data to a new phone. I called a few places looking for a simple, temporary fix, and luckily found this store. When I explained the situation, they offered to help with the data transfer instead of repairing the older phone. They temporarily installed a working screen on the old phone, let us complete the transfer, and then even swapped the cracked screen back afterward. They went above and beyond, no other store offered a similar solution besides repairing the old phone completely. I would absolutely recommend this place!

The call linked me to Jose and accepted to evaluate my Son's gaming laptop repair the next day. During the evaluation, Jose explained how the gaming laptop hinge would be repaired and gave two options for the repair approach. After two days with Jose at Fix A computer, I received a text alert that my Son's laptop was ready for retrieval. Jose stated the repairs that were done and applied new thermal glue, improving my Son's gaming laptop cooling functions. So I can say, I hit the jackpot when finding LAB. When I first contacted Andy (Co-Owner), he was very professional. Andy listed to our schools needs and made time to explain what his company provide. He is clear, thorough and straight forward. He does not mislead you and if he makes a mistake on his end, he takes responsibility and fixes any issues we may have. Andy invited me to their shop, LAB in South El Monte, which is super inviting. All apparels he has available that he has to offer is hung nicely on racks ordered by company. Near by is a bar, which to me shows that they love to work and play at the same time. I met German, I believe he's the co-owner and is the main screen printer. German is also super nice and also very clear and straight forward. German explains the screen printing process, shows me the screens, how they are printed on from a computer, how the printer works and much more. I felt very welcome anytime I come to place, review and pick up orders. They do not have anything to hide. I design our school logos, which makes it an easier process for our school, and LAB does not care what the designs are and if they come in one color. Andy does not reject any designs or sends it back to make any modifications. He accepts it, helps tweak it and/or improves it. He's very flexible. As for pricing, LAB is the best price in town. As far as my research goes. Andy has always work to meet or beat any competitors price. As for the products, we've ordered sweaters, long sleeve shirts and T-Shirts, all came out as I designed it and mocked up by Andy. All mock ups Andy creates gives our school a visual of what the final product looks like, it takes alot of time on his end, but it's great to see what our product will look like. Once our order is complete, all apparels ordered are nicely packaged, ordered and clean. It's been a pleasure to work with LAB, our partnership will continue for generations to come even when my kids leave McKinley. Thank you Andy and German. Other repair…read morestores I called said there would be a several day wait, since they were busy Without an appointment, I walked in and spoke with Lian at the front desk. She was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the entire process to me. Since I arrived close to closing time and didn't have an appointment, she let me know they would run diagnostics on my laptop the following day. There's an $89 diagnostic fee, and if repairs are needed, part of the $89 fee can be used towards the cost, which felt reasonable. The next day, Martin called to let me know there was no damage and that he had cleaned the affected keys. He explained that my laptop passed all tests, but the battery was consumed. When I wasn't sure what that meant, he patiently explained and advised that since the battery wasn't swelling and the computer was still performing well, there was no need to replace it unless I noticed issues. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain everything and didn't try to upsell me. I was able to pick up my laptop later that same day which was less than 24 hours after dropping it off. I highly recommend Di-No for honest and fast service!

I paid the $89 diagnostic fee and understood that it would be applied toward the repair cost if I moved forward with the repair. That policy is completely reasonable. After diagnosing the issue as a failed motherboard, however, I was told they could not obtain the necessary Asus part and therefore could not perform the repair. I later learned that an authorized repair provider could obtain the part and complete the repair. My frustration is not that they charged for diagnostic time. My frustration is that no one mentioned before taking my money that they might not be able to source Asus parts or complete the repair. Had I known that, I would have taken the computer directly to an authorized repair provider. The laptop is currently being repaired by Geek Squad. I intentionally support small local businesses, and Di-No is close to my home, so it seemed like a win-win. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. When I asked whether a refund was possible given that the repair could not be performed, I was told no. Consumers should know there is a possibility they may pay for a diagnosis, only to discover that the shop cannot complete the repair and that they will need to start over elsewhere.
