We used to have 2 dogs and are now down to one - both of them are rescues and suffer from separation anxiety issues. Happy to say that both of them were fine going into this facility and fine coming out. Our surviving dog has had short and extended stay and has come home happy from both types of boarding. She has a spa day before returning home and seems to really love her routine and pamper session while there. She can be a smelly little old girl, so really appreciate that her bath from the groomers there lasts longer than any other place. During a power outage after bad weather a few years back, they regularly kept us updated on how they were taking care of the pets in general. We really appreciated the updates as were unable to go and fetch her early. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. This is a top notch facility and highly recommend them.

After the testing was completed, I was informed that his bloodwork was "immaculate" aside from an elevated white blood cell count, and medication was prescribed. Unfortunately, once the medication ran out, his condition began to worsen. Last week, I called the office because I was concerned that my dog's health was declining and wanted to speak with a veterinarian. I was originally told by the veterinarian we saw to call if there were any concerns. However, when I contacted the office, I was informed that she was on vacation. I requested a call from any veterinarian in the practice due to the urgency of the situation, but I was told I would need to wait until that specific veterinarian returned. As a concerned pet owner, I found this response extremely disappointing. When a patient's condition is worsening, there should be a process in place for another veterinarian to review the case and provide guidance. Due to the lack of communication and support, I made the decision to transfer my dog to another veterinary facility. My dog is currently receiving care elsewhere and has undergone several hours of additional testing. At this point, his condition has been deemed urgent. While I appreciate the initial efforts made during his visit, I am disappointed by the lack of follow-up and the inability to speak with another veterinarian when I expressed concerns about his declining health. Edit to add; The vet Ace seen, after 6 hours of evaluation, testing and scans. Ace was found to have a large tumor on his kidney. I was told that I would receive follow-up information within three days. However, it has now been more than three weeks, and I have not received any updates. Despite my reaching out to the clinic, I was only told that the doctor would be notified--yet I still have not received a call, email, or any communication. This lack of follow-through is unacceptable, especially when dealing with such a serious and time-sensitive health matter. The uncertainty and lack of updates have caused my family unnecessary stress and has left my cat without the proper care or treatment plan he urgently needs.

I don't doubt that they care about the animals that are brought in, but they have failed me many times. When I bring my cat to other vets they have no problems with him. They also prescribed an unnecessarily high dose of gabapentin to "calm him down" that is not recommended by any standards and upon giving it to him he has had horrible side effects that has left me even more stressed. Shame that I trusted a vets opinion.
