Great beer selection friendly people and the best brewery in the Corning area. The owner even gave me a tour. Living in San Diego I know good beers when I taste them.

June 10, 2016 Friday - 3:15 PM for drinks 2 Adults Atmosphere - 5 stars Drinks - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Background - I knew about this brewery for a while now. It was definitely on the list to hit while visiting my parents. Atmosphere - Small bar area with 8 taps. A small room near the entrance looks to be a cool hang out area with an oversized Jenga. There was also a standard size on in the game area. Food Drink - The point being here. I started with IPA, solid choice and not in your face. I wanted one more pint and could not decide between the sweet potato stout versus the mocha porter. He provided me with a sample of each to help make my decision. I went with the porter which had a great finish of chocolate. Service - Walked in and there one was one person at the bar. I guessing one of their regulars. He was pretty quiet. The bartender this afternoon was helpful. Talked about their business and it was cool to talk to an east coast operation. Future - Yes

The owners were super nice and the dogs were adorable even though the little one wouldn't stop barking at us. Still cute. This is one of the bigger breweries in the area with seating and a 'game room' with Jenga. Lots of seating around the bar, in the game room and tons of space, they are dog friendly, someone had brought their huge dog in there and the owners were totally fine with it. They have pretzels and M&Ms to snack on.. these are the important things people. I don't believe their serve any kind of food, but you come for the beer not the food. I'm not a huge beer person but I loved the Mocha Coffee Porter, I bought a 6-pack to take home because it tasted so wonderful. Not too heavy but it was perfect for me. My main squeeze liked it but it wasn't his "omg" moment. He liked the atmosphere, the space, and he didn't think the beers were too bad either. Not one of his favorites in the surrounding area but it was definitely a place we would come back to and hang out for a beer or two. They did have a tour bus come through so they can handle that, the parking lot is decent and it's not hard to find. Take a trip out, it's definitely worth a visit. Great people.

Hidden location, very friendly staff. Some good beers we only liked a few but overall a great experience! Cheap tastings were a plus $1/piece. loved the Wit.

Their beer is what they serve and it's delicious. I'm an IPA drinker and they don't disappoint.

Beers were very good. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the size of the place - pretty small. Sweet potato stout was yummy!

Definitely a spot where you could linger for a while. Food-wise, we ordered the fried rice with crispy chicken (breaded in crushed Cheerios--yes, Cheerios, and yes, surprisingly delicious!), the bánh mì, and the crispy chicken sandwich, which ended up being the star of the show. Every bite of that sandwich was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and satisfying. We upgraded our side to the greens, which came topped with some mysterious orange ingredient--maybe a grated carrot dressing? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious. We also ordered a side of pickles, which were surprisingly affordable and so flavorful that they disappeared fast. We didn't try any drinks, but the menu had plenty of interesting options to choose from. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how family-friendly the place felt: while we waited, the kids grabbed a new-to-us game (The Enchanted Forest) from the board game shelves, which made the time fly by. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, and overall we had a fantastic experience. If we lived closer, this would be a regular lunch spot for sure!

Everything was clean and maintained well. Our server came over and took our drink order. The drinks came out quickly. My 7&7 was strong and hit the spot. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch Mac & cheese and an order of garlic Parmesan wings. The food came out fairly quickly and man o man! Everything looked and smelled awesome. Mac & cheese ohh so yummy and such a huge portion, and it was only a side portion. The wings..... the best I've had in such a long time. Perfectly cooked. Generous and flavorful sauce. Bleu cheese, house made, equally as good as everything else. Everything was good and a fair price. We left happy, and full.

We ordered the Rodeo Mac and Cheese and the Bacon Chicken Ranch Mac and Cheese (both in the whole size--think 5-6 cups each!), plus the Rodeo Burger, which comes topped with BBQ pulled pork and crispy onion straws. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS, and even with our family of five, we still had leftovers. So. Much. Food. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We ate downstairs, though there's a bar upstairs if that's more your vibe. Our waitress was super friendly and even tried to warn us that one whole mac would be plenty--but we wanted to try both flavors, so next-day leftovers were just part of the plan. Pricing felt very reasonable for the giant portions and the quality. Mooney's is one of those restaurants that knows exactly what it does well--and does it really well. We'd definitely come back!
