Tonight we walked in at 6 and the guy working was kind of rude and then said "just so you know it's last call" even though the sign says 8pm. So we just left cause we didn't want bad service. Great spot for people-watching and local beer. Cozy and warmly lit. Even though I'm a Guinness girl, I took the server's recommendation and got a strawberry beer with whip on top. The boyfriend got a brown ale (just in case hehe). We also got a meat cheese cracker board. It came with crackers, pepperoncini, pickled jalapeños, horseradish cheese, chive cheese, everything bagel cheese, pepperoni salami, and black pepper Genoa salami. Perfect! read more

Stopped in on a quick visit before dinner. The place was pretty cool. Enormous bar, comfortable seats, easy to read menu offerings, and the bartender (who might have been the owner/brewer) was super nice. Tried two beers, both were good. Unfortunately no cans to go at the moment. Worth stopping in for a drink. read more

I travel a lot and visit many breweries along my path. With the Covid BS it has been 2 years since I drank their Big Abes Brown Ale and it is better than I remember. I normally do not drink IPA's but the IPA that Christina recommended was very good. My double IPA son would even enjoy it. I will back this way in a month or two and certainly drop in again. Went there last night (5/20/23...Friday night) with a group of coworkers and the bartender was Very unfriendly! The bartender acted like we were annoying him...I cannot understand why a business owner would have someone like that tending bar!!! In this economy, making paying customers feel like their an annoyance instead of feeling welcome is not good business. It's a bar with live music and everyone is out to have fun its not a funeral home! Will most likely not return as a result!! read more

Spent the morning at the glass museum and this was a perfect place for a group of ladies to quench our thirst before a meal. Had a seat by the huge open windows which let in a cooling breeze. Other patrons had their dogs with them who were well behaved. I know nothing about craft beers but the very friendly bar keep let us sample a few to help us choose our drinks. So we came back after lunch for a beer. Atmosphere - Such a tiny place. Original brick is exposed on the tap sides of the bar. A little steam punk with valves and knobs on the lights, but they did not overdo it. I asked and found out that they are a 3 barrel system, tiny! Drinks - I had the Kung Fu Bicycle which was a lush NE IPA. I could drink that all day. Because they are a 3 barrel system the beer taps will be changing on a regular basis. Service - I was surprised by the number of people in place. Our bartender was friendly and answered our questions in a polite manner.. Future - Yes please. read more

The ambience was great with a small bar and some high top seating. We both ordered beers and a cheese board. Everything was amazing! Essential to stop in, especially after visiting the extraordinary museum of glass. Right now they have 6 beers on tap, when they usually have 10. We loved talking to one of the owners, who was very friendly and helped us navigate the menu. I adored the sour beer they had- the bittersweet apocalypse. I can't wait for this to hit local markets, I wish got a growler to take home. It was the perfect sour beer, not too acidic and it actually tasted like beer. A second favorite was their stout, which had a great coffee/chocolate flavor. I was impressed with their mistletoe IPA, which was very approachable (I usually don't like IPAs so I was a but hesitant to try). Because the crowd is mellow and casual, it's a good place to enjoy craft brews (with amusing names) and small/snack plates with good music and friends. To start the beer is just OK, and the bar-tenders aren't very knowledgeable about the selection, which is the primary reason I will not be back. Liquid Shoes brews up some very high quality beers, in house, and serves them in the best way, ice cold and fresh with a smile. The establishment has a classy atmosphere, the drinks are very reasonably priced, and is filled with friendly locals.
